Regarding the dropping of magnets through the iron and copper tubes, it's called 'eddy' or 'Foucault' currents. These circulating eddies of current create induced magnetic fields that oppose the change of the original magnetic field due to Lenz's law, causing repulsive or drag forces between the conductor and the magnet. Copper produces greater magnetic fields than iron, henceforth why copper is used more in electrical wire than iron. But Sereda eats this crap up and thinks it's antigravity.
Bushman's magnetic field rock experiment is bogus. The magnetic field rock was a mono-pole, i.e. the center having one pole, and the surface the other. The earth has a magnetic field so when the rock was dropped, the surface had the same or a similar polarity to the earth and since like poles repel, the dropped rock would arrive slightly later than the un-magnetic rock. This has nothing to do with defeating gravity. Sereda is a fool . . . and it's easy to fool a fool.

@spock2021 Agreed. Also, aluminum is a GOOD electric conductor. They use it in high voltage power cables over long distances, they would not do that if they had significant voltage loss. They would if it was not a good conductor. However, it should not create much of a magnetic field.

The difference is that the copper tube is non magnetic but conductive.
The alumina (not aluminium) tube is neither.
As the magnet drops through the copper tube its magnetic field induces a current in the copper tube which then creates its own magnetic field (electromagnetic) that opposes the magnetic field of the magnet. A simple example of kinetic energy due to gravity converted to electromagnetism.
Problem is you have to lift the magnet first :)

The map is one of those future earth maps, but there is more than one version of them...and are not acurate at all!
The "rock" he is talking about isan asteroid called Apophis and which on Friday, April 13 of 2029 will pass 29,470 km altitude, which is quite close and we have a lot of satelites there. It will not hit us though but it may change its orbit. We will know more in 2013. Russia, middle east, north africa and central alerica are in the risk path (risk of direct impact).

Glacial ice is the largest reservoir of freshwater on Earth, it is ON LAND, not floating in the water.

I work with Levitation propulsion & Bushman's first example (2 mags + & -) is correct: but why he does not see them as GRAVITATION SYSTEMS is surprising? Chromozones are - or they wouldn't divide, Planets are or they wouldn't bind Gaseous fluids among other things. So where are Mag-Springs on cars, or on feet to charge your ipad ankle-holster? Maybe I missed it, but does Bushman actually say this technology is reverse-engineered from captured alien technology, or does he let the interviewer do all the running? A nuclear-powered saucer-shaped aircraft with a top speed of about 900 mph and a range of 3000 miles hardly sounds like science fiction, even for 1959.

I do feel that the old guy is telling more fiction than fact. It seems he is feeding on the young guy's enthusiasm. I don't buy alot of Bushman's explanations, from a layman's POV. It's the twinkle in his eye. And not the Santa Claus twinkle either. It's a deceptive tell that I've learned while on the beat. But the biggie for me is that he says that the pilot shot down a UFO. This is very contradictive to many pilots' statements of not being able to lock on to UFOs from that era. Sketchy........

Regarding the dropping of magnets through the iron and copper tubes, it's called 'eddy' or 'Foucault' currents. These circulating eddies of current create induced magnetic fields that oppose the change of the original magnetic field due to Lenz's law, causing repulsive or drag forces between the conductor and the magnet. Copper produces greater magnetic fields than iron, henceforth why copper is used more in electrical wire than iron. But Sereda eats this crap up and thinks it's antigravity.

Bushman's magnetic field rock experiment is bogus. The magnetic field rock was a mono-pole, i.e. the center having one pole, and the surface the other. The earth has a magnetic field so when the rock was dropped, the surface had the same or a similar polarity to the earth and since like poles repel, the dropped rock would arrive slightly later than the un-magnetic rock. This has nothing to do with defeating gravity. Sereda is a fool . . . and it's easy to fool a fool.
