Good work just make the ears bigger.

I would call this a realistic horse head not advanced. Advanced would be colored and shaded well.

Don't worry I'm 13 and shading is tricky to get just right.

u r learning well but thats not advance that is a simple drawing with scribbles all over it to make it look like u shade well ur just a kid u didnt get all the portion right the ears are terrible

I wouldn't call this " advanced " horse heads being that although it's good it's not great. It's actually very basic. Your just a kid. And their are too many faults. The only reason the shading looks good is because you left parts white to make it look like your taking your time. When you shade you need major differences in tone. Meaning in parts you need to get reaaally dark. And try shade following the curvature of the head not just up and down. Use charcoal to avoid graphite shine.

Great job - was it traced or is it your original work? Tracing is a good way to practice as long as credit is also given to the original artist - I'd want my work credited to me. If its yours alone keep it up and you are going to be an amazing artist.

The only fault is the ears....they are way too small. Good drawer though!

I'M 12 TOO and i draw horses just like that, looking just like that. :) wow cool to know theres many other 12 yr olds that draw horses amazingly. started drawing horses page after page when i was 5 or so, had a whole notebook full of just horses. by now they look so realistic!!!

The out lining took me about 30 minutes to get all the right shapes

The shading about 40 minutes to get all the lighting and markings right

And the details probably took me a few minutes
