hey did you know when max your red orbs out to all 9s you get infinite red orbs but they have to be at 999999 and no i did not use cheat codes i just beat all difficulties and maxed out money and when you buy things it dont go down at all.

Can someone, PLEASE, help me with this style? I honestly think its the coolest and has the most raw potential but can't play it for my life...The only decent combo I have is hyper fist while your clone has Rebelion equiped, hold the attack button, then release. So when you slam him away your clone launches off a shock wave. Anyways I was just hoping for help other than the button delays. Thanks to anyone willing to help. And amazing...like I said favorite style and favorite vid of style...

hey when you beat dante must die and get the super costume (sparda) where he has infinite devil..make your doppel ganger come out and it will be infinite press start on another ps2 controller and it becomes 2 players but it focuses on 1 player screen tho.

no need to sparda'ed,ou just use the doppelganger style and press start and you can play 2 player.

It took me long enough to get used to jump cancelling with the ONE damn player. >:C Oh, by the way, I disagree with the music not fitting. The end, especially, as the giant 'S' rank stamps the screen, is great.

That WAS one player Jump-cancelling! He did the whole thing himself, using the built-in pauses to manipulate his Copy.

The only vid I've seen of Doppelganger where I've questioned it was Twosome Time, because he was somehow charging Beowulf with one clone and attacking with another, hahah. Something about creating button delays, I dunno. Anyway, never questioned this guy.

Button delays is possible. Moe does it in this video too. It involves tapping L1 once for same time action, twice for a short delay, again for a longer delay, and another time to repeat the cycle.

Fabulous vid, Moe. Some very neat moves there. And I actually think the music fits really well. Especially when you did the Swings, with your AI performing Killer Bees. The KBs go EXACTLY in time to the snare drums when the vocalist sings "Scream and shout, cry it all out"! And I'd never heard any Edguy before (though I'd heard OF them) so thanks for introducing me to them through this vid :)

I just got the album when I made this video, I only listened to a few tracks and I kinda liked this song. So I used it. Other songs on the album are way better though. I recommend 'the piper never dies' 'holy water' and 'the navigator'. They are all on the 'hellfire club' album.

ive never even used this style... i just think its too complicated to use.. i mean, how can you control the attacks of the doppelganger?

Well, the doppelganger can't switch weapons, so if you summmon him with Cerberus equiped, he'll use cerberus all the time. You can still switch weapons though. So if you summon the DG and switch to your alt weapon and mash /\, you are basically doing your first real DG combo :p

Also, if you press L1 after the DG is summoned his attacks are delayed by half a secong. So if you perform a stinger, he'll wait half a second and then he'll perform one. If you press L1 twice, his actions are delayed by a second. If you press it twice, he'll be back to normal again.

I shoot while pressing L1 twice so the enemy stays in the air so I can catch it in a hyperfist.

Another useful tech is to make use of long animations. Like, for example, hyperfist, or any other 'crazy combo'. The animations have to be long and they have to be uncancelable. While doing the hyperfist, you can summon the DG, and make him do something else. Like, charging a dash straight as seen in my vid at 0:54

And that's the gist of it really :p

I quite like the effect that has. Because Dante gets caught in that animation he still remains in human form while his Devil Trigger Doppelganger appears — until he finishes the move. Looks very cool :)

PS2 version, I heard the PC version was a bad port, so I didn't pick it up. I'm not that much of a PC player anyway, I hate playing games on a monitor.

I had a better run (with better music), but it was too late to send it to the guy who hosted the tournament, ah well...

Luckily, the doppel KB-swings were executed perfectly ^_^
