  • this is beautiful

  • Lisa Gerrard is just the voice queen! Always takes my heart. Really don't understand why this isn't at OST!

  • this song takes you to another world, it's just perfect :)

  • is there a version of this without the lyrics?

  • WHY DOES IT END THERE!!! Its that way on the actual sound track too! The song is just getting started and then it get stopped early. :(

  • VERY NICE!!!!

  • nice!

  • pretty much anything that Zimmer puts together is impossibly EPIC. My favourite composer next to those awesome dudes doing the WoW music.

  • This movie is just amazing. So well done. And all the knights were hot!! :( Especially the ones that died. *cries*

  • @mrspuckerman93 I KNOW! They always have to kill the really hot ones!

  • @CelticTears101 I know!! It just isn't fair! I loved Lancelot and Tristan the best. And their deaths were the saddest. :(

  • isnt there a longer version?

  • @XXXSCARLETTXXXX There are lyrics for a longer version, but I don't know that there is a recording of it.

  • This song is so soothing. IMHO the sound version from the movie is my favorite. Even though it is shorter, there is something about the atmosphere of it I like much better. I wish there was a longer version that sounded like the movie.

  • @MithrilDwarf81 I think it's better when your actually watching the scene from the movie, because it adds a lot to it. It would be cool if they had a longer in-movie song version.

  • So sweet!

  • anyone know where i can find the sheet music for the vocal part? thank you!!

  • buetifa celtic song shows england history

  • Such haunting music...

HEAR OUR SINGING HERE OUR LONGING WE WILL GO HOME ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS!!!

  • Such haunting music...

HERE OUR SINGING HERE OUR LONGING WE WILL GO HOME ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS!!!

  • @KampForm thats King Arthur and not Gladiator, darling.;)

  • I love this movie!! and i adore this song!!! she has an amazing voice!!!

I love Lanceot and Tristan! they're awesome!

  • @hodhod2011danger yeah, likewise.

  • Wish the director of King Arthur would've let the singer do a full version aswell :(

  • I really don know if there is an "uncuted" version.

  • @mazzus87 Yes ther is a uncut version called Hans Zimmer - Sorrow it has 2 mins and 9 seconds but without the girl singing il see what i can do and merge them both

  • The song is so good but I find it too short :/

  • Wonderful!

    Jeff

  • @wolfbrother0 this is the whole version it is from a film

  • What is so sad about this song (to me) is that many of us are allready "Home", yet we are so seperated from the natural world in which we all live that we may as well be on the moon or liveing under the ocean. Sad (

  • Sir(s): If I may, at this Date and Time, state here that We will go Home distinctly & correctly, namely, "Till Det Braohjem," or as I here translate by My own abilities, namely, "To the Home of Brotherliness & Kindness Comfort." There I shall live circumspectly and carefree. Thank you. Have a Nice Day. Godspeed.

  • i think it's just a simple folk song

  • its the traditional feel that makes songs like these so awesome. fare thee well northumberland by mark knopfler is one that i would suggest.

  • amazing

  • does any one know more songs like this

  • The reason the song sounds this way is because it's in Dorian Mode. So just googling songs in Dorian Mode will probably bring up some.

  • Just look up Lisa Gerrard and you'll find what you're after.

  • We really need a longer vertion of this beautifull song.

  • @StrainChain you're right, it's a shame there isn't any longer version on the web

  • Someone can say to me like is called the song but not her(it) of we will go home other one

  • Comment removed

  • great song. So spiritual. It kinda makes me thinks that when she says we will come home across the mountains, its like the the thing thats across the mountains is our real home (heavan).

  • @NewOrder2013: Beautiful voice, too (Dawn Bradfield).

  • Very!

  • thanks! I agree with your idea about "over the mountains".

  • @NewOrder2013

i dont think a more perfect metaphor exists...

  • Exists? Well thats your opinion...

  • i just love the part at about 30 sec

  • one word butiful

  • beautiful song/music.

  • epic

  • can't anyone put the whole thing

  • there is no official recoding of the whole thing released, the person who wrote the song is Caitlin Matthews, wife of the historical consultant on the movie, she also helped with the pictish language

  • @wolfbrother0 This is the hole thing unfortunetly:|

  • little dim one what the hell are you talking about are you a druggy or just a bad typer ether way say something intelligent or shut up know one understands your ravings. if your just mad don't go announcing it.

  • uh, I don't understand what you're trying to get at

  • What the Hell are you talking about. People get shot up just for "dissing" some dude. Hollywood romanticizes King Arthur's Time period. To Tell you the truth I am rather happy with my "advance" medical treatments and rights. Remember if you didn't own land or have money you were usually screwed....then again time hasn't changed much has it. No offense...just ranting.

  • Hes right.. I mean within those times you wouldnt live past the age o 30.. wether it was due to disease or dying by the hand of an enemys blade.. Though in that time there was honor in war not that there is today back then it was a sword through the front now'adays its a gun shot to the back... shame really we couldnt keep some old traditions

  • and you would probably die no more than five or so miles away from where you were born.

  • pretty much.. :P

  • It's actually called song exile

  • and he isnt the arthur its a different story line as merlin was a bit different but didnt intervine as on there because he has his devine power but cannot change things

  • does anyone know where i can get the full version of this song?

  • according to their website it's not on the soundtrack, so i think this is the fullest version you are likely to get :-)

    peace

  • ah dammit....thanks anyways :)

  • Piękne

  • Beautiful.

  • dose anyone no ware i can find the full song with all verses inclodeng thos not in the film?????

  • :'D pretty song i had to search it!! i only watched the movie to hear her sing LOL

  • best scene \m/ , got this song on my mind, thanks for sharing

  • I so love this film! The story, the characters, the Brotherhood! the scenery, and all with no Magic just mere mortals!

  • ditto! and this song is beautiful

  • How can you not like Bors and Tristan?

    Great actors in my opinion

  • I like Mads Mikkelsen/Tristan. There is a new Viking movie coming out soon with him as leading actor. Don´t miss it!

Its more the movie effects and storyline that bothers me (allot of historical fails)

  • Yeah but keep in mind that what we learn in schools is what people say to be the truth, a lot of people have different stories and believes of what happened in the 15th century.

It's hard to make a correct image of what happened, but if you want to compare it to Disney's bed-time stories, yeah it fails.

  • wasn't 15th century though, it was before I thought Arthur was more 5th century, before the Saxons settled!

Geoffry of Monmouth wrote about him in the 12th century in his 'History of Kings' book thingy

Wiki puts him at 5-6th century, which means that what we really know is really really fuzzy

    Peace

  • Yeah I know it was the around 5th century, made a typo.

  • ur right

  • wat is it called?

  • Valhalla Rising, coming soon! :)

  • yea they are awesome..... whats name gonna be the viking film ? bors and tristan forever :D

  • I LOVE it!!!

  • wats the song called

  • I think the title gives it away

  • this song is great...does enyone know where I can download this???

  • Wow...beautiful...

  • yes same here...I just love it...it sounds so beautiful and I love the tune

  • 4th Verse:

Land of ice and land of fire

Land that gave us glorious dyin

Land that called us ever hell hole

we will just dance across the fountaines

    Chorus:

We will just dance we will just dance

we will just dance across the fountaines

we will just dance drink with the prince

we will just dance across the fountaines

  • are those the actual lyrics?

  • are the original lyrics of the song. ma in the movie some part are changed or erased.... i think 0_o

  • Ya im tryin to find the FULL song, but no luck :(

  • @mazzus87 You know how i can get the hole song? i really like this song =) Or what ive heard tho :P

  • This is beautiful! It is harm only that he does not sing it through.

  • I think you'll find the 7th line is "We will go home singing our song"

  • ah i love celtic music, it has always so much meaning compared to what we listen to now. Their music is beautifull...both the tunes and words.

  • dis song makes me fuckin' emotional

  • it's near the classical music. like beethoven and so on, i think

  • oh sweet thanx man/woman
