  • While this might be fake, it is indeed true that Michael Jackson worked with Sega for the music in a lot of the Sonic games. The "Go" you can hear in Launch Base Zone is in fact Michael Jackson. I still love this video and it does sound like him.

  • I respect this man ingenuity, but seriously I wouldn't have hated sonic if MJ was in the background singing to me whats happening...either death from laughter or completely hate it

  • Thanx for the vid and LYRICS! + 100!

  • It got to Hydrocity before I realised that this was a pisstake. :p

  • unbelievable

  • i wonder who has these full songs

  • Shut up everyone THIS IS MJ!!!

  • Plain and simple. That's not MJ.

  • WTF im i watching!?!?!

  • this is fucking funy as hell

  • As misinformational as this is, it's funny as hell.

  • I cant stop listening to Launch Base Zone. It's soo good, lol.

  • LMAO!!!

  • Where did you get the files?

  • How did I not find this video before? This was fuckin' brilliant!

You did a great job with Michael's vo-.. I mean, MJ did a great job recording this back in 1992.

... I almost pissed myself laughing at Carnival Night Zone.

  • something power like...ughhhhhh!

  • Lol the bit at 0:10 always cracks me up

  • i know that sonic3s maked with MJ - but you video suck fail

  • lol its the greatest fake in of my live!

  • All right.. When I listened to this, I broke the WR of "Staying the most time with the EXACT Poker Face"

  • @LightTheHawk i broke record :U i was doing it until i read your comment :U

  • Poor guy! :\

    he was awesomeness!!!!!!!!

  • LMAO!!!!!!!! FUNNY SHIT

  • I don't think that's his voice.

  • Well, I'm as straight as the next guy, but I must say that he made the Hydrocity Zone bgm sexy somehow...

  • This was brilliant!

  • i don`t like Michael Jackson , but Sonic is cool ... ^^

  • Why didn't they use it as the original Themes? Sounds better this way ^^

  • @xXBlackHeartShadowXx well they were going to use it but when they recording the music,it was around the time when michael jackson was acoused for child-mostilation.So SEGA didn't want any problems with the people so.....If michael jackson wasn't acoused then we might have heard this in the game.

  • @Basstyle1 Don't forget vocals were limited on the Genesis. Imagine this on the Sega CD... This would be odd (even odder than Sonic CD's JPN soundtrack), but awesome.

  • @Devixicus This is true.

  • @Basstyle1 erm... i've heard differently, Michael Jackson was not impressed with the sound when he heard it so he did not want to be affiliated with Sega because it dis credited his music... but maybe it was a mix of both reasons?

  • @supermario932 Now that i think about it...yeah it was a mix of both reasons. Also put "flying battery zone"because he made a remix with that and smooth criminal and now playing that level again it does sound like smooth criminal.

  • Micheal doesn´t touch children.

That was an plan of Robotnik, to weakening sonic!

    But Robotnik failed.

  • shadowlink4321 did this too sounds just like him

  • It clearly wasn't Michael singing, but whoever wrote this is truly dedicated to Michael and Sonic 3; I salute them. :3

  • Michael Jackson was innocent i know he would never do what they sad.

and that's i love sonic music now i know Michael Jackson done the music for the sonic 3 game music Michael Jackson loved Sega i know as i have mags here from the 90s he helped with ecco aswell.

  • @raylyd MJ make like 7 song for sega!

  • @raylyd i agree if he was guilty why would sega have used his tracks in sonic 3

  • Michael gave you hints through the music? Bitchin'!

  • Lol the singing threw me off Lol...

  • Just how did you get those files?

  • @HeartlessSlayer They are fake

  • @KIAMaggetSacks Would make sense, more so cause of the singing, it would've been REALLY awkward to hear all that while playing the game. Good lord what do you think it would've been like if he did that also for the Sonic and Knuckles levels?

  • @HeartlessSlayer Lol it would have been terrible. But it is fact that MJ did come up with the music for a few of the levels. He just took no credit because he didn't want to be associated with the "terrible sound quality".

  • @KIAMaggetSacks Funny, I heard Sega dropped him because of the situation of his sexual accusations at the time. But if it was just the music he helped with, that certainly would make a lot more sense, no wonder I could never get Angel Island and Ice Cap out of my head lol. But who was singing all that in the video? The person who posted the video?

  • @HeartlessSlayer More than likely, But yeah. The person who made music for Sonic 1 and 2 demanded more money but Sega declined, and MJ was apparently a Sonic fan and wanted to help with the music. But as soon as he heard how it sounded, it angered him because obviously he didn't realize the limitations of the 16-bit era of gaming and didn't want any association with it. In fact, in the Sonic and Knuckles collection for PC, almost every zone had a different BGM.

  • @HeartlessSlayer he probably downloaded an emulator got sonic 3 files ad looked through them :O i bet theyre fake but still funny :3

  • 55 persons cant dance like michael jackson

  • i thought it was because MJ wasn't happy with what was produced and decided to pull his name from the game.

but in saying so, i'm not sure which to believe, him pulling his own name and music, or sega kicking him off the project.

  • they actully sighned him to this at first

  • anyone who thinks this is MJ... SMH

    this is AWESOME btw :D

  • 0:00 Angel Island Zone

    1:16 Hydrocity Zone

    2:17 Marble Garden Zone

    3:23 Carnival Night Zone

    4:01 Ice Cap Zone

    4:54 Launch Base Zone

    5:11 END CREDITS

  • @INTHEBATHROOM10 Wow, that's...something I don't see very often. ^^

  • C'mon guys! lighten up to the joke!

  • ok well... ummm that fucking freaked me out. i feel like burning the game now. O-O

  • LMAO

  • You are a faggot. And in fact, he did make the music for Sonic 3, so suck 3 dicks.

  • AceSalisbury, this was so funny! Although apparently, while it was speculated at the time that Sega downplayed his involvement in response to those stupid allegations, the real reason according to someone who worked with Jackson on Sonic 3 is that he asked Sega to not advertise his involvement because he wasn't satisfied with the sound quality of the Megadrive. Which is a shame, because the music he made for Sonic 3 is so fantastic - I *especially* love the end game, Stranger in Moscow music.

  • Well done, sir.

  • Its true michael jackson composed music for the game but he never put any singing into it

  • AWW MAN.. this is great .. i needed this laugh!!

  • Hahahahaha :D

  • i fucking loved this it was fucking funny and sounded good in my opinon i

  • This shit is fuckin stupied!

  • press 6 to hear the funny part in carnival zone

  • LOL assistam, sem mais :D

  • LOOOOOL

  • the first song is right and the secend one but carnival night zone is jam and

ice cap zone is who is it

  • dude, wtf, the first one is so obvious its bad XD

  • "Beneath the sea it's hard to go the speed of sound"

but sound travels faster underwater... ah crap! now im confused :(

  • @phammond68 Sound itself does. Not a hedgehog running the speed of sound.

  • You guys are idiots not believing this. This Is Michael. It was true that that he got the job for Sega. That's why you kinda hear Stranger in Moscow in the credits.

  • @CampNinjaJr Am I the only one who realizes that Stranger in Moscow was from the album HIStory, released in 1996 while Sonic the Hedgehog 3 was released in 1994?

  • @KingMeteorStudios Stranger in Moscow was actually composed in the midst of the first molestation allegations, in 1993.

  • @CampNinjaJr We know Michael had a hand in the music for Sonic 3, but this VIDEO RIGHT HERE is a fake. Just ask the user. He or whoever he knew did the voice over for this Youtube video, not Michael. And if you ask him and he says it's Michael's, he would be sued up the ass.

  • @mungface36, not every joke needs a big flashing neon sign above it saying "this is a joke!"...

  • @geekymarianne But when people start commenting on it saying that it's real, then it doesn't hurt to let them know that it is a joke. Just saying.

  • @mungface36, sure,I get you :) but the fault doesn't really lie with the uploader for that.I'm sure he assumed that most would realise this is a parody - his sense of humour seems rather British in that way,so I'm pretty sure his admissions this aren't real are nothing to do with a fear of being sued. Problem is, many YouTube users don't seem to grasp unlabeled parody. Just look at "Jack Black on Piracy" - it could barely be more blatantly parody if it tried, and yet most commenters don't get it.

  • @geekymarianne You're exactly right. I just wish that people would broaden their grasps of different types of humor. But then again, I blame today's media because they have dumbed everything down to the point where some people shutter at the sign of complexity. And it sucks that when people don't grasp that something is "a joke" that the others who get it have to sit them down and literally explain it to them. Sad times we live in.

  • @mungface36, it is worrying, yes. You ever see the movie Idiocracy? I'm suddenly thinking of "Ow, My Balls"...

  • @geekymarianne

i'm use to live in austin where that was shot and the ow my balls guy would come in our bar all the time

  • i thought this was real OMG!!!

  • "I love this level"

I laughed so hard when I heard that. XD

  • Michael has a more powerful voice

  • Very fake, christ you people are stupid.

  • @dynd It's amazing how many people thought it was real. Lol. Crazy huh?

  • @mungface36

    More like saddening.

  • @dynd I mean how can they not tell that that's NOT Michael?

  • this made me a sonic fan. lol

  • Holy shit!!! The whole thing was funny. But beer came out of my nose at Carnival Night. LMAO. As soon as that music started to play and the dude said "I love this level" I knew I was in for something.

  • ha what a joke lol

  • seriously funny stuff this ;) thumbs up :)

I love the 'fake' trolls too ha ha

  • Comment removed

  • LOL @ this

  • WOW lol Funny

  • fake

  • So stupid. Love it!

  • That's a nice fan-fic/speculation in the Description there. XD Cool mash-up btw! =3

Still, I think it's cool that they used MJ's music as inspiration, it sounds MJ-ish but in a very Sonic-ish way mostly! =D

  • @TheJJHman Sonic's Shoe is Based on Micheal Jackson's Shoes with Santa's Color Pallette.

  • @TheJJHman he wrote the songs, his partner confirmed it.

  • This has made me laugh

  • Who on earth believe this is Michael Jackson????

  • @gjtrue This is supposed to be a joke. Very funny joke by the way :P

"There's a carnival in town where are the children? TSH KM GABA TCHSM HUMM JABA HAAAAN"

That gibberish made me laugh SO FKIN HARD HAHAHAHA

  • Patetic! HAHAHA

  • and if you still not convinced just read this...

"We here at SEGA were very sad to hear about the passing of Michael Jackson. He was a true music legend whose songs touched each of us at some point in our lives.

"We are proud to have worked with him and included his music in some of our most well-remembered games and are sure that his genius will live on through his great body of work.

"We have no doubt that future generations will be moonwalking to all his greatest hits."

    FROM SEGA

  • @bobdole360 so was a track of his voice singing or a sheet of music of the lyrics he sang ever made or released to the world?

  • To all of those who keep saying fake. I have some news for you its real you can even search it up the myth that Michael jackson made music for Sonic 3 is CONFIRMED.

Even sega said Michael made music for Sonic 3 but wasn't happy with the quality so they removed his name from the credits but still used the music.

  • that sounds eerily like him....

  • I lol'd

  • LAME & FAKE!

  • @gjtrue Your facts are very lame and fake, they were truly made from Micheal Jackson.

  • fake

  • @robdelabassist Your facts are about as good as your commentary. It was truly made behind Micheal Jackson.

  • LMAO

  • Michael is awesome :D I want this version on my Sonic 3 game now ^^ <3 you MJ

  • Thats ignorant, I'm a little girl!!!!

    Let's go limb a tree.....yey

  • AHHHHHHHH LMFAOROFL HAHAHAHA OW

  • The guy who was singing this, has terrible voice for Michael Jackson's music.

  • @xan1242 This is his voice.

  • @maotico No,it is not.

  • Ummmm for sum reason I find this disturbing

  • @foxxymama1982 carnival night! definitely

  • @DanteMcSparda Yeah, the mega drive cant handle the voice in the song, but, they could put those musics in a soundtrack!

  • @brunothehedgehog Megadrive/genesis can have DAC sounds, but the cartridge production cost would be just too big.

  • Brilliant.

  • LOL?

  • The Carnival Night Zone part is the most embarrassing part to me...

  • @DanteMcSparda Why?

  • @DanteMcSparda I know it doesn't sound like Michael Jackson, but it is plausible. It is confirmed that he did work with SEGA on Sonic 3 and SOMEONE had to sing this...

  • good fun this video is :D

  • 5:53 I just lost the game.

  • nice, even though fake

  • ieh not good

  • hahah thats terrible

  • This sounds like any other song u would find on sonic games bcuz they r catchy...

  • jajajajajaah!! ke reverendo hdp.!!! jajajah muy bueno, aunque en ingles, igual se entiende xD kopadO!

    Launch Base!! jajajajaha

  • LOL this is too funny

  • Good Lord in heaven this is lame...

MJ's family should sue this person! ;(

  • This is the funniest shit EVER

  • You don't get celebrified music in any of the Mario series! ^_^

  • even though this is not mj i think u have great potential.

  • You think they'll make a Soundtrack playing the removed versions of the Sonic 3 musics? :/

  • thanks for wasting my fucking time

  • @kargaroc386 U mad bro?

  • No, it's not real. But really funny xD.

  • is it real?

  • marble garden was realy a thriller inspired song.

  • This must be a joke if you're trying to pass those vocals as MJ lol.

  • @Stu228 He didn't do a bad job. At parts, I was convinced. Enough to not be 100% sure lol.

  • IF this is real, then i am glad that they took his voice out. Its sounds freaking stupid.

  • LMAO!!!! Entertaining.

  • I'm a huge MJ fan, but I have to admit, this was hilarious.

  • This was hella funny man great job.

  • The "ows" and "hoos" were piss funny.

  • Why did you have to try to pass this off as actual work by Michael? It's impressive in of itself as just your own vocal work. But you had to ruin it by trying to pretend it's actually from THE Michael.

  • im glad its not actually in the game. but the gibberish was funny

  • Micheal may be gone but that won't stop him from Being another part of Me and you R.I.P. Micheal Jackson 1958-2009 may you Moonwalk in the Heavans forever.

  • is that even true??

  • i liked the ice cap zone song

  • This needs to be in it's own game.

  • wow that is sooooo mean.

  • great, now I can't play Sonic 3 without hearing the vocals.

  • carnival night is fun, Michael had a great sense of humor.

  • I'm not sure what's funnier; the video itself, the comments made by people that are angry at one thing or another- be it the bad impression of MJ, that fact you're insulting MJ, etc. etc.- or the comments by people that, SOMEHOW, fail to realise this is quite obviously done for the shits 'n gigglies.

Bravo, sir. My day has just been made.

  • i hate how a lot of these levels are practically clones of certain Sonic 1&2 zones. angel island=emerald hill=green hill. hydro city=aquatic ruin=labrynth. marble garden= spring yard and marble (sonic 1) combined. Carnival Night is pretty much Casino Night re-done. launch base=wing fortress=flying battery (sonic & knuckles) maybe u folks see what i mean, but i guess it really doesn't matter.

  • Your info is wrong, Micheal choose to get off the project because he was unhappy of how the sound ended up.

  • 5:11-6:04 would make a great ending theme for past wars such as the Revoloutionary War, the Civil War, WWI, and WWII.

  • ha ha that was great pretty creepy but great

  • "There's a carnival in town

    Where are the children" LOOOOOOOOOOOOL
