i have the alfa AWUS036H 1000mw model, hows that 500mw working for you? i havnt had the chance to test it with bt4 yet to see how well the injection mode works yet for wep and wpa, not bad rigs, looks like one of them was a macbook pro, its awesome how well bt4 works for wired, i can only imagine the wireless capabilities of the pwnsauce build
The operating system is called back|track 4 nicknamed "pwnsauce" . It is a free linux distribution available on the internet. It uses the KDE windows environment. Back|track 4 is a security penetration software. For example , you can use it's tools to capture iv's to crack a encryption keys. I'm only 15 and I'm limited for testing purposes. I have a couple of question's for the uploader. How much did the tickets cost for DEFCON, and the setup on the far left are you dual-booting xp and backtrack
@catomaru For DefCon18, my tickets cost me $100 per. The hotels do have special deals for DefCon-goers... the Vegas Hilton was $50/night for me.
Also, were you wondering how to dual boot xp / bt4?
On a side note, I generally load up ubuntu and then add the offensive-security repos (/etc/apt/sources.list), then load the bt4 pentest packages onto my pretty gnome desktop.
Because, what's wrong with a pretty pentest distro?
Its just a regular wireless card, but it has been credited with being the most powerful on the market, it is also compatible with linux and mac. I think its 500mw, so it can crack encryption keys from a further distance than most (with the right software).
What is the name of the first computer on the right sir ?
