@ShindyK2 M16A2 is not the best weapon to use for long-ranges or medium-ranges, but it's ok at medium-ranges if you tap-fire. The M4A1 is excellent at tap-firing. And so it's an effective weapon at medium ranges. I'd prefer a sniper rifle for long-ranges any day.

@coolymonster problem comes with mid-long range fights where M4A1/FNFNC/HK416 easily outclasses M16A2. M16 is good in close range though, but not at all in mid-long range. If you try it u will see.

@ShindyK2 recoil recovery is how fast your gun settles down from a shot's recoil. take the AK for example. Usually, in most games, the time from the crosshairs to zero back in is really long for guns of such type, but low for low damaging weapons. this is because the piston and bolt carrier group doesn't kick back as hard on a low stopping power weapon, since it doesn't need to kick so hard. which allows the user to settle down his sights more quickly.

@ShindyK2 OR your could be talking about spread. spread is basically how much the gun deviates from it's neutral position. in other words, how crazy your bullets fly all over. same concept is applied here from the recoil recovery thing. so on full auto, some guns have better spread as compared to others. that's inherent in the gun design and build.

@discardedsoul81 I have both and i must say the FN-FNC is better. The sako has great power but it doesn't make up for the lack of recoil control. The FN-FNC can be customized many ways, its a really balanced gun that is super accurate when crouching and is good at close encounters.
