Are their trials still limited and crippled? I remember trying it an year ago and all the trial had was limited virus detection and some firewall usability. But they seriously need to work on their ram and I/O usage. Its way to heavy for the protection it provides.
@SuperPickledOnion I would agree, but their cpu usage is also high. It kinda slows the system down even on newer pc's. And I wont even talk about older ones.
This was a f'in virus for me! i went on a site and it downloaded some pctool shit then turned of my security and browser (almost all admin controls)changed my background then kept telling me i had 133 viruses and asking me to buy it,don't trust anything called pctool!!!!!!!!!!! pls.
I just can't stand there Interface, reminds me of many rogue "registry" cleaners interfaces. Also I see after years they still did not fix that ram issue. Would not recommend it, My only tool that I like is ThreatFire. Good review bucky sorry you had to review this junk.
nice review man, pc tools IS hoggs the system to a crawl, their detection rate is a little better but for years now Pc tools is one of the worst IS sloutions when it comes to performance.
Thanks for a great solid review/test of Pc-tools.It seems it missing some sort of self defense. And I do hope BuckBull that the finishing result of yours walls is going to be awesome.
@SuperHusher no problem yes its missing something that would make it a good suite to use and needs to reduce ram usage. thanks for hoping my walls will look good.
I am a little disappointed by PC Tools Internet Security 2011 performance. As you sad it made the computer ran slower and at the same time some Trojans got through its defenses. Congratulations! It was a great review! Thanks very much!
Another Great Review, seems like it did pretty good, but the RAM Usage is kind of high, for those kind of Security Suites it need a decent amount of RAM of your PC. Also i seemed to slow down the PC.
@borderlandsboy no i use a virtual machine. its basically a virtual computer or a fake computer if you want to call it like that i can do anything i want on it and it will not affect my real computer. best way i can explain it
@borderlandsboy He dosen't. He has something called a virtual machine, technically a computer inside a computer. If you want to see how they work try out VirtualBox or VMware Player which are free versions of what he uses.

Hey, great video as always. I was just wondering do you do this on your main computer, or do you have a computer just for this purpose?
