  • BONJOUR vous livrez en france?

  • @djoharo974 I dont sell this. I'm just showing how to install it

  • @tactikool I tried to find the accessories at Combatstocks to no avail. Will you please let me know where you obtained your accessories. I recently bought a Maverick 88 with the 18 inch barrel and I want to modify it to look like yours.

  • cool vid, thanks for posting

  • my pump is different than yours, did it come with that one or did you put it on?

  • thanks for the video it was really helpful.

  • Cool.

  • dude stay the fuck away from ati stuff

  • @davism4a1 Curious, what's wrong with ATI stuff? I'm looking at getting my first shot gun, and I was really impressed with this vid. Again I'm new to shotguns but think it would be great to have one for home defense.

  • thanks for the help

  • nice man i always wanted a maverick 88 now i know im gonna get one.... thanks for that vid...

  • The song sux fuck hole!!!!

  • thanks for the vid, im thinking about costumizing my maverick 88 now

  • Zombie Killing Machine

  • Nice shotty mate! But 'n fact a spas 12 foldable stock would look better...

  • hey tactikool where did you get the extensions for your wrench? trying to get my stock off but dont have an extension long enough to get to it.

  • @69er1 You can find that extension anywhere tools are sold.

  • nice song choice bro.

and that '88 looks pretty freakin' awesome!

    kudos.

  • thnx....i am new to this and wow what a helper video!!!

  • I also have Mavy 88 with same ATI folding stock. It's definitely tacti-COOL for home defense but in real world very impractical since it provides virtually no recoil reduction. I finally bit the bullet and purchased Knoxx Blackhawk recoil reducing stock (yes I know, stock cost like $120+tax and Maverick 88 is abou $160 average, each to his own) and LOVE IT. Went to range, shot over 400 clays and no bruise shoulder at all. But still cool none the less....

  • @kaphinezero well I wont ever use this to shoot clays. It is for puttin holes in bad guys. I think my shoulder will be fine blasting out a few shots to stop an intruder.

  • Who sings this song? and whats the name of the song?

  • @Aaronbillings Artist: Beck, Album: Mellow Gold, Song: Fuckin' With My Head (Mountain Dew Rock)

  • VERY NICE!!!!! one more addition to make

    mag extention

  • I like having a sturdy stock.... well.... stock :)

My question is between a pistol grip with set in place stock and the way the gun comes stock, why do peopl efavor the pistol grip? I've not shot between the 2 of them and was wondering if the traditional rifle grip was uncomfortable or soemthing.

  • @redheadhistorian me personally i keep the pistol grip on for home defense. its alot easier to swing it threw a narrow hallway without the stock on it. just my thoughts. i use the butt stock for the range. and skeet.

  • Just put a Heat shield on it and it will look like mine cept i have the 20 inch barrel with more holding for shells down low. Cheerz

  • @ 12 Guage LA your shotgun aint all that why would you camoflauge a shotgun in east LA

  • I Purchased a shell holder before I got my Knoxx stock for the original stock and it was shit

  • Sweet Setup I personally have had problems with A.T.I But hey Live & Learn Right were did you get the Flashlight

  • What kind of problems? (with ATI) The flashlight, I cant rember where I got it. It is a Surefire G2 Nitrolon.

  • I used that same mag clamp for my Maverick 88 and the very same light as you. My flashlight fell out the third shot. I threw it in the bushes.

  • I just bought a maverick yesterday, wanting to put on a new stock, and was told that any 500 stock would work, is that true?

  • @spartansparx117 The stock YES, The forend NO.

  • thanks =] i didnt plan on buying a forend yet just bought a stock and yea, so thanks.

  • Knoxx Spec Ops. You can thank me later. ;)

  • @ctfam Yeah that is a nice stock but I was wanting the top folding stock. It is more traditional for a shotgun.

  • Looks nice but A.T.I sucks

  • @tacticoolness I have not had any problems. So, A.T.I. can't be all that bad.

  • I'm wanting to get an ATI top-folding stock, and I'm curious about how well they work. I have heard good things, along with negative things, like the plastic screws are crap, the regular screws strip easily, and it needs tightening quite often. I just got a pistol grip pump on my Remington 870, and I think it's pretty nice. I just want to know of ATI is the way to go stock/pistol grip wise, or get a metal one.

    Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

    Cool video, by the way.

  • @stereonut001 I have had no problems with these mods.

  • ive been looking for a decent flashlight mount for my 88..where u get it?

  • Nice vid. Wow unscrewing the OEM stock seemed easy for you. With my Maverick the stock was HARD as hell to get off probably because it was screwed supertight at the factory! I had to lay the gun on the bed and kinda sat on the receiver (of course Gun was unloaded) and used a screwdriver. My hands were hurting LOL

  • yea changing mine to a pistol grip was a bitch..taking off the stock was a pain in the ass..

  • I edited a lot out. Didn't think you wanted to see me fumbling with the screws. I tell you, that flashlight clamp was a bitch to get on.

  • Hello - love the video. I have a model 88 myself and anyone nay-sayers can say anything they want I find it more than efficient. However can you tell me where to get the flashlight mount and a pistol grip pump? Have been unable to find them. Thank you very much! Keep up the good work!

  • nice video dude what type of folding stock is that and where did you get it im trying to help my cousin find a stock like that for his maverick 88 he just got it a few days ago thanks dude.

  • GOOD JOB ON THE VID MAN !

  • Just got my Mav 88 today...would this stock modification be ok if i wanted to take it out and hunt with it also?

  • I dont see way not. However hunting with a non-choked shotgun with such a short barrel would be difficult. (I'm guessing.) That is to say if you have the same model as mine.

  • in case yall didn't know I bought mine for $99.00 at Wal-mart here's a hint find one and wait until the end of the year and the end of hunting season they usually drop their prices

  • Personally think the flash light will get you killed in a home defense situation. If the guy is on your house with a gun and hes hiding in your living room and you walk in with a flash light looking for him, hes gonna shoot the fucking shit outta you cause, well, he just has to follow the light. Have fun getting killed my friend :)

  • Gee, Thanks for the insight. However I believe that a flashlight could be beneficial in most situations. Acquisition of target mostly and the like.

  • You need nothing except your eyes and insticts. If you use a flashlight in that kinda situation you might as well walk around with an Airhorn as well and a megaphone telling him your right here.

  • Thats true, I am very aware. Where I live it is usually clear skies and at night you can see fairly well in the dark. However you can not discount the FACT that having a flashlight is better than not having one. Do I need a collapsible stock?? No I can wield a shotgun with easy but it is better to have options. Agree or Disagree???

  • Have you ever seen the way cops search in dark locations, they have their pistol and flashlight out and always pointing in the same direction, though it's true it's easier to be shot when you annonuce yourself like that.

  • agreed, i always thought that a flashlight and laser on my AR would be useless, until i went camping and was testing my equipment, having a flashlight mounted wouldve been an invaluable resource.

  • I'd rather risk getting shot at than shoot a loved one on accident. plus you know those things have off switches right?

  • Very true.

  • Man I have that same gun but everything is stock on it,thx for the video I've always wanted to know what it would look like when its modded.

  • Yeah man. You can also Mod the forend but you would need to buy and install a slide arm assembly from a moss 500. The Mav 88 forend as/is can not be modified.

  • does anyone know of a online store that sells these guns for $175 or less? cuz im guna buy one,but its $208

  • $200 for what you are getting is a great price, paid just over 200 for mine a few months ago, im glad i did, its a great gun.

changed the stock out to a hogue tamer pistol grip, for home defense, other than that its a factory firearm.

  • Bad azz video and cool azz song! You just made me want to get a maverick 88!

  • lol coffee break! i need that stock tho

  • Nice vid, coffe break after 2.5 minutes? u must be union!! haha j/k

  • Nice, looking at buying a Mossberg 500a, very similar with the same mods. I heard that the sling mount on the mag will also act as a pump stop since you can pull the pump out too far by accident to send them little levers flying. True?

  • I guess it could. I've never heard that happening.

  • Add a heat shield and cut the barrel and it will look like mine.

  • Very nice gun! I do believe if people were to come in to your house that gun will be fucking with their head(s)!

  • exelente video, gracias por el tutorial

  • De nada

  • Cool vid, but my 500 left you in the dust...

  • Yeah the 500 is a great gun. I could build this gun up some more but I dont see the need. This gun is for home protection. What could you add that would make it more effective for that job??? Thats right nothing.

  • I thought it was a Maverick 88.

  • with just the one allen screw holding it it does the stock still feel pretty secure?

  • Yes it's secure.

  • can you link me to the stock? i wanna order it online

  • i put it in the description. hope it helps.

  • where do I get that stuff to put it on mine

  • Great video !

  • what kind of flashlight to you use? How big does the flashlight have to be, 1 inch? more than that?

  • SureFire G2. Yes 1" Had to many layers of electrical tape inside of the clamp to get it to stay clamped.

  • I'm trying to install the collasping buttstock from ATI. The instructions say to remove pistol grip from adapter tube with buttstock, but it doesn't say or show you how. Do you know?

  • where can i get that kit or just a pistol grip kit with no stock

  • It comes with the Maverick MDL 88. Just buy the gun and ask the dealer to install it for you if you don't have the right tools.

  • thank.

  • so wats it called the grip holder u changed it into to make it smaller and to hold ur shotgun shells on top

  • Well, I think you are asking what kind of stock I put on the gun?

It is the "ATI top folding stock" with an "ATI 5 shot carrier" attached.

  • Nice Man I got the same exact mods, except the light which I'm going to get one soon. I put some truglo sights on mine really is better than the plain bead sight! Awsome 12ga!

  • Yeah Thanks Spartan its a nice gun huh? I'm sure it will protect my family for a long time.
