don't know if this will make any difference, but on the Homogeneous Coordinates slide it says that y prime = bx + cy + ty Should it not be bx + dy + ty?
but the rotation animation is not just rotation around origin, because it also continuously rotates around some point inside, otherwise the lines would not keep the same direction
