Each option has there own benefits. I think bandcamp might expalin what each means in their FAQ, or you can simply WIKI each and read up on it.

ACC, FLAC, etc...are primarily used for other purposes

MP3 is just for normal listening.

Will you ever consider releasing an another version of it with a string overlay from 2:20 to 2:30, like in "The Town" Trailer? It's almost impossible to improve such a perfect music, but the strings really do it a bit!

By the way: is it true that Redemption consists just of sound libraries and the full track has never been recorded with a full orchestra? Which sound libraries manage to make the strings sound so real?

@solyentbrak1 That fits great too, but I didn't mean that - if you listen carefully to the trailer version, you can hear some strings softly overlaying the small part from 2:20 to 2:30. They don't play an own melody, in fact, they play only two notes (I suppose A and G (following octave)) - but in my opinion, their contribution to the atmosphere really does enhance this gorgeous track a bit more!
