  • Don't take it too serious... It's a good dance tune however you judge the music.

  • Muriel Day was an Irish chick that starred in Billy Liar as that singer singing that "Twisterella" tune, all pointy bra, pointy stiletto's and 10 gallon lacquer bouffant.

  • I agree its a good track - and you cant always blame the DJ; people wanted to hear it!

  • whats it matter now so long as its a great track eh if at the cassino or twisted wheel if they d only played the same songs as the night they opened where would we be every track was a newbi first time played chillout and enjoy or dont play simple eh

  • Agreed not really Northern but in defence of it its actually not a bad track, ive always had a soft spot for it anyway, sad old git that I am

  • Brilliant !

  • As it happens not a bad tune but stopped going in 75 as so many unsoulful sounds were being played,God knows what crap was being played in 82.Im sure many would have danced away to this whilst speeding outa there heads.

  • @elvingtonred, this was also our youthfull shizzle, IT WAS THE D.J'S FAULT if there was crap played... and don't forget, punters didn't like ANY "newies" which were played either... we could exhaust this nonsense...
