  • support our troops, don cherry is the man

  • If any "Canadian" disrespects our troops, then they are not a real Canadian. Real Canadians know quite well nowadays that our country has become full of hyphenated citizens(some of them are ok) and other scum we have imported who are considered "Canadian" simply because of a piece of paper they obtained.

  • @LongDrivesAtNight I think being a citizen of Canada makes me more Canadian than someone who supports murder. If you think I'm being disrespectful go check out the mental health patients who suffered severe trauma in the war and tell me that you supporting the loss of these kids minds is less fucked up than thinking war is wrong.

  • @V1P0wer War is a cruel thing, that I do not deny. But are you calling our troops murderers and that I support murder? Anyways, one of my points is that many hyphenated citizens make me sick...they have no allegiance or patriotism to Canada. I wave the Canadian flag only, unlike some scum we have here nowadays.

  • @LongDrivesAtNight right on!

  • @CanucksMakeMePukeV3 Can I ask where the HELL you draw your retarted opinions from? I mean, our soldiers have fought in every major war since the birth of our country, and they fought with disntinction and honour in every one of those wars, now since i realize your obviously not going to have any reaL reasons or proof, let me just go ahead and say: FUCK YOU, NEVER TALK SHIT ABOUT CANADA OR HER SOLDIERS, FUCKING BOTTOM FEEDING SCUM!

  • LOL THEY ALL LOOK LIKE HOCKEY PLAYERS DON'T THEY

  • @CanucksMakeMePukeV3 Youre a fucking lunatic. these boys are over there fighting not just for canada but america too. give your head a shake you fucking moron

  • @CanucksMakeMePukeV3 How about you come to our great country and meet the soldiers, talk to them, thalk tot he grieving families, then talk shit. You don't even know what our soldiers fight for. They fight so that countries like ours and yours can lead the lives we do and ask for nothing in return. Hwo about you show them a little respect you fucking insignificant little maggot.

  • No more war in Afghanistan. No imperalism. Hands off Afghanistan, fair play in Afghanistan. This war is finished. Afghanistan, is the grave yard of empires. Don't believe me, read a history book. Ask a Soviet General.

  • @noo2islam the ppcli (princess patricia's) aren't the airbourne. do not EVER disrespect our soldiers.

  • How can this Video not strike pride and respect for anyone Canadian or no?

  • I totally agree 100% :)

  • The ad played at the end is so moving. I cry everytime I see it - right at the part where the young men marching transform into the old men we now see on Remembrance Day. One of these men was my dad. So many generations of men and women have served, died and live with the memories. Thank you and know, I will remember them and you.

  • HUUUU WHAAAAAAA!!!!!!!AIRBORNE!!!!!!!

  • Whatever your feelings on the war, these fine gentlemen and women gave it all and are worthy of respect.

As an American, they don't put our decesaed troops up at halftime on Sunday or Monday Night Football (though I understand neither has the same cultural significance as Hockey Night in Canada) , so this is a beautiful and moving tribute.

Thank you to all of you who serve.

  • @kvsfan24 Your comments about America and Americans is out of line. We fight in Iraq and Afghanistan for the free world. Our troops that total over 200,000 fight everyday for our freedoms, and their presence there keeps the fighting off of our soil. Your right, your military is very small, therefor your countries commitment is small, and our country is honored to have your troops at our side. For the record, most Americans dislike or disapprove of Obama and the record will show him go down a

  • this is a true canadian tribute

  • come home safe boys

  • Thanks for standing with us in Afghanistan, Canada. You guys are awesome.

  • Ohhhh boy. you people think Don Cherry gives a F**k about the troops. this is propaganda at prime time!

  • @davidflood

you're an idiot if you think don is faking this. a lot of people don't like it, i feel it's a buzzkill in the middle of a hockey game because it moves me, i sort of think he should wait until the end of the game, but i respect him for doing it.

  • @davidflood

Don Cherry is the most patriotic Canadian there is. OF COURSE HE CARES ABOUT THE TROOPS! Who the FUCK are you?

Like how do you question Don Cherry's patriotism? How! LOLOL

  • Although this video was posted Nov 11-06..it will stand the test of time, as long as we keep remembering those who fought/fight so valiantly, so we may live in peace.

*RIP Uncle Raymond Bonneville who was shot down in WW2 *

As I watched this video, I couldn't help but think of all the families who will be mourning their deceased ones today. My thoughts with them! May they ALL RIP

  • From a proud American, I say a huge THANK YOU to ALL the Canadians who rushed to support our efforts to eradicate terrorism in Afghanistan. May Canada and the US always cooperate in our mutual economic and security interests. God Bless Canada!

  • Thank you, on behalf of all Canadians.

  • I went to high school with Corporal Randy Payne. We were best friends in grade 9. He was a good hockey player and played for the Gananoque Platers (Jr B) - I think Don would have loved him. RIP Randy.

  • God Bless to our allies

  • Don Cheery should be an Honorary Pat...

  • Don Cherry is a Great Man

  • My brother was with the Princess Pats for a long long time. He loved it to death. Two tours of duty in Afghanistan really made him appreciate what he had back in Edmonton. God bless all of them.

  • Don Cherry a great Canadian! Has supported the Forces for years!! Lest We Forget

  • Very touching. This reminds me of a video I seen here on Youtube. It's by JasonH1982(?) and this is a quote from one of his videos. "They were staunched to the end. Against odds and count. They fell with they're faces to the foe." I don't know why but that line really means something to me and I felt such a befitting tribute to our fallen deserve such a befitting quote." We will remember them.

  • Touching, just curious though, is there really people in Canada that are against the war in Afghanistan?

  • yes in Quebec shame on my gay province

  • lol

  • Yes, this is his name Salman Hossain. This fucker actually want our troop to die. Google his name and read the article by National Post.

  • @sabrescupin06 not a lot were realy for the war in on terror but the iraq war we kinda didn't like that mose of the Us soilder/ army was deployed to Iraq and theyt left canada in Afgan for a shot while ...you have to rember we don't have a big army so we were some what open for a long time ...thanks bush for that ...thank god Obama in Ofice now i don't think American / half of them relize how luckey they are to have him as a presdient

  • Lest We Forget
