I am comforted to know that this video has helped others deal with our loss. I have tried to understand the process of dying and am continuing to grieve. A friend told me it never goes away but you learn to live with it. I have gone through denial, regret, talked to my dad and cried myself to sleep. When my grandpa passed my dad hugged me saying that's just the way it goes. I don't like the way it goes and I had so much more to say and do but my pride kept me from doing it!
Even though I have never commented before, I have watched this video dozens of times. It helps me to remember him as he was-a great son, brother, father, and grandfather, and friend to many. He was always there when needed. I miss him so much, the patriarch of our family. Sister Ju'
One month later and I am realizing I have really lost my dad. I won't hear him call me Shelly Lynn, I won't get another hug confirming we understand each other and that we have a special bond that only we understand. I longed for the day that he looked around and didn't have anyone else but his kids to come back to, another stage in life where he would realize what was always important in life, family. Still looking for what I have lost, looking for assurance he is somehow still there.
This is gorgeous and I appreciate you taking the time to put it together for those who need it... maybe even you. On Monday in my heart I will be on that field with you
Thank you from the most inner core of my heart....your a cool coworker but an even better friend...no bullshit, just straight up! Yes, unknown to me, this video has been healing to me as well. My field needs to get bigger!! Thank U!
He always did have a pretty easy smile about him. Great video. There was a lotta' good memories in this vid, and a finer memorial to him I can't imagine. Much of your comments goes without being said, but thanks for saying it.
I used your song and made this with limited photos to help you find closure. I feel like this is all we have left. Keep the old memories of good close to your heart and know that "I will always have your back"!

Hey Big Brother:
I used your song and made this with limited photos to help you find closure. I feel like this is all we have left. Keep the old memories of good close to your heart and know that "I will always have your back"!
