  • ....CACTUS-"THING"?

    Da fuck?

This guy never played a FF game with a Cactuar before?

    Or an FF...ever?

  • The Rangda's can also summon a King Behemoth, and when they you will get squashed lol, i know i did at the start :P

  • Btw thanks for the spoiler.....

  • Vash?

  • do u have to upgrade all items to stars and do u have to upgrade all weapons to tier 3 or just star

  • Nice tips. I will have to try these out.

This game is maybe too complex for some old-school rpg'er like me.

I don't mind grinding, I just hate constantly dying and getting nowhere.

    Thanks!

  • theres nothing else in a game I hate more than grinding...... yeah, I hate it that much.

  • he never mentioned some of the best spots. adamantoise in eden. Behemoth and other wolf thing fighting outside Mah'habara. And the growth egg is essential. Though Hope's house actually seemed like a good plan, a lot of incentive chips to be gotten there. Shame I missed it.

  • whit 30 medicinal oil you get x3 multiplicator, this item can buy for 150 giles in the animal shop, once yo get x3 yo turboject do more points

  • @bluevortex9000 you can do 36 barbed tails at 80gil each also for 3x mult

  • you sound looka douche

  • the upgrading system is not that confusing :/

  • So is it better to farm when I get to "Gran Pulse" or after I finish Chap.11 and go back to Pulse to prepare for Chap.12?

  • @theph3n0m200 Honestly, it's not great to farm until you get the growth egg. (Got from mission 55, and it's possible to get it as soon as you complete chapter 11). If you need CP to advance the storyline, then I suggest doing as many missions you can you bear to withstand right now for three reasons:

    1) CP

    2) They open up teleport C'eith stones.

    3) If you're going for the last trophy, then, well, having to do 64 missions back to back and getting 5 stars can be infuriating, to say the least.

  • i realy did something wrong XD. need to farm like hell in those flan and dogs creature (king behemoth (or somehthing) is already in second stage to hard XD how ever thad huge dog beast is quite easy same as those birds close to mission 4 (also a good way to lvl whit only 200k+ hp so easy mob)

  • @bloemen34

The Behemoth King is really easy even if you just got to Gran Pulse, I leveled up a bit with the wolves and Flans, mainly building up my Strength on the Crystarium, then engage the Behemoth with a COM/RAV/RAV party or something (preferable Lightning, Snow and Fang since they have the highest attack, the idea is to Preemptive Strike him so you can stagger him in 5 seconds, then switch to COM/COM/COM and with Launch, Smite and Scourge it shouldn't be hard, before he transforms.

  • @JohnnyLeyenda yea but somehow it's not working XD so it's realy hard to get him down second stage for me still, mission 4 is also still nasty (still to hard XD but luckly i am lvling quite fast so^^) but thx for the advice anyway

  • You can farm 64k Crystogen Points in about 4 minutes at the end of Chapter 13. Makes farming a few thousand for a full day sound silly. Especially cuz you don't actually need to be pulling your hair finding small advantages at any point during this game :P

  • The upgrading system is in no way confusing, but the best place to grind money to make all weapons tier 3 and in the 70s-100 was too time consuming when i finally put the game down

  • CACTUS THINGS? HAHA? RPG VETERAN? DONT MAKE ME LAUGHT. CACTUAR NEXT TO CHOCOBO IS LIKE ONE OF THE MOST FAMOUS CREATURES EVER.

  • @MouseInvasion He said RPG. Role Playing Games in general, not Final Fantasy in specific. Just saying...

  • I know a better spot for xp.

There is a place where you get 6600 xp each fight.

  • @piromaniac9999 Obviously, Gran Pulse, but it depends on what part of the game you're at dumbass.

  • @ExequieI No need to insult, and yes its on grand pulse.

My favorite place to get cash,is actually in chapter 9.There are plenty of good enemies around chapter 9 while rescuing both:Vanille& sazh.

  • the small cactus thing is called a cactuar...

every final fantasy fan knows that. -.-

  • Why does 'And don't worry, it's coming." sound so sinister coming from him?

  • have*

  • i dont get it..how can he has the party health over 90000?? i mean snow 90000 lighing 23000 hope 18000?? how?? can someone help?

  • which weapon is the best to upgrade for all the characters?i upgraded gladius, taming pole, healer's staff, paladin, vidofnir, procyons to 3rd tier max already..any other weapons better?

  • what a smooth voice.

  • Where do you get Axis Blade?

  • yeah i got everything uprgaded in level 3 cas i wanted in every level that

my cristal somthing was uprgaded fully.....

and my weapons are upgraded i'm going too

do it better but you know time 11 is my level now with lightning and fang

and 9 for hope ... but the sucking thing is that the black belt isn't able too upgrade how do i do that which stuff should i buy

  • damn, this isnt helpful....wait was made last year....nice guide =)

  • Really? Incentive Chips? What about Platinum Ingots? They give 150,000 and aren't that hard to get with the catalogs once you start farming Adamantoise. Which is also the one of the best ways, if not the best way to max out your characters. Has this guy even beaten the game?

  • he sounds like my voicemail guy

  • u have no idea what ur talking about, stfu and gtfo

  • 1. Go to Creature Comforts

    2. Buy Sturdy Bones x36

    3. Use said Sturdy Bones x36 on desired weapon/accessory

    4. INSTANT x3

    5. ????

    6. PROFIT

    7. If EXP multiplier starts to drop again, repeat steps 1-4.

  • his name is Shaz u idiot...learn to listen to the cut-scenes

  • Did you call Sazh .. .. CHAZ?

    o_o"

  • @zoralegacy LOL thats my name :)))))

  • THanks.

  • congrats Luke, you got a subscriber from this video.

  • if u leave the cactus to do its dance it will grow bigger and if u leave it to do its dance again it will get even bigger and if u kill it in its second size u will 10,000 cp everytime after u kill it and if u kill it when its its full size u will get 15,000 cp everytime u kill it

  • A very useful guide for the farming.

  • hope's house in chapter 7 is not a good grinding spot at all. Much MUCH better is Nautilus park in chapter 8. You can keep running back and forth through the pentagon-like plazas, and fight EASY zwerg droid enemies and get 600CP for each battle, versus the 160 average you get for fighting psicom in hope's house. Also, some fights have Orions along with Zwerg droids, which grants even more CP. Dont listen to this guide. Thumbs up so people see

  • @BatteryBlaster fail I commented before I finished watching

  • @BatteryBlaster dude he's not saying grinding at hopes house he says to fight there alot to get incentive chips twit listen

  • @cheesesandwichlover8 hurr durr I commented right afterwords and said I made a mistake since I didn't watch the video the whole way through without commenting

  • @Danelle17181 Another post of that virus? Nigga please.

  • This is a horrible guide.. and i will not look at your website cause i seriously doubt it has any "awesome" stuff on it... I'll just stick to youtube guides made by GAMERS and not some wannabe douschebag

  • Comment removed

  • Professional Guide? Dude do your homework! This is not even anywhere NEAR a good level up spot and stuff >.< And your upgrading is horrible!! x1.5? 24 Vibrant Ooze or 36 Sturdy Bones gives x3 Exp! and using Particle Accelerators will max out your weapons for way less investment.

  • fail 640 is nothing there's an easy 6600 CP in seconds

  • how about juss spend 10 bucks to get the book they explain alot easier and give u better ways to upgrade just dont be dumb like this

  • IF did you use 36x Sturdy Bone ( buy in the shop ), you have 3x Exp Bonus more fast ;)

  • Can someone make a video were they show how to make a OMega weapon?

  • I think my general knowledge about FFXIII actually went down after I watched this video... ROFLCOPTER. CACTUS THING AND GIANT TURTLE DINOSAURS. Hopefully this guy gets castrated by a blunt rock.

  • do what i did - complete as many of the missions as you can

  • This guy is a major fag... He should probably commit suicide for the benefit of all those unlucky enough to witness any of his videos.

  • i couldn't take it anymore once he said "these cactus things". rpg veteran, yeah right. it looks like he didn't even play the game before he made the video.

  • E che ca++o sta pubblicità ... ultimamente la trovo anche non dovrebbe esserci!!!

  • How to you reccord your videos?

  • the game was pretty easy without me grinding or upgrading weapons, i dont see the point of wasting 10hours grinding somewhere, the XP threshold is well made that its not worth grinding

  • "2000 gil a piece" yet the screen shows 2500 gil a piece.. OMG script reading!

  • amusement park? dinosaur things?

just call them what they are. Nautilus and Adamantoise. XD lol

  • Thank you dude you helped me alot but i find it easier to get 3x bones

  • dude... get x3 bonus.

  • This is Horrible, I wonder how many hours he spent beating those poor "Blue Little Blob like Creatures".

"Don't forget to hit up our home site for awesome stuff you WON'T find anywhere else" LOL

  • Chazz???

  • epic fail........

  • 7:55 giant dinosaur things lol 0_o

  • @Likian5 Agreed there. The book DOES do a pretty good job at explaining this. In fact it explains a lot of things rather well, though it makes them seem more difficult than they tend to be. For instance, I was originally pretty wary of Vercingetorix due to the books description, but then I realized just how much damage Poison does to it. Almost reminds me of FFX, in which poison was guaranteed to kill you in 4 turns. And to all reading this comment, the book really IS for noobs.

  • This guy needs to take advantage of the Y/Triangle button more. It could make a difference between a 4 and a 5-star rating.

  • Lol in all honestly I managed to figure out the weapon leveling system pretty easily. The only thing is, it's a little too confusing to put into words. But if you buy the guide, and read the part about the weapon leveling in the back of the book, you'll soon figure it out. But beware: The book makes it sound a tad more difficult than it actually is.

  • 640 CP points hahaha!!! don't waste your time grinding in early chapters start it from 11 they will give you 6000 CP

  • Final Fantasy 12 is the best

  • @hawochi Then why are you here at a FFXIII vid?

  • @NinjaExGamer because I am waiting for my copy of ff13 from gamefly

  • Yeah this kind of grinding is both unnecessary and a waste of time. It's not worth going out of your way to upgrade/level until you get to Pulse.

  • this kind of grinding ist stupid

  • this is a horrible looking game its looks like they ruined final fansay but 12 did that

  • @cuchulain334 its not that bad

  • horrible?? Did u even play it??

  • what wud u say the best combo of characters is

  • @shinnman7 Fang, Hope, and Lightning are my 3 favorite right now because Hope is a Synergist with party buffing abilities, Fang is a great Saboteur, and Lightning is a versatile player that can easily be a great medic, ravager, or commando with decent strength later on. However, later on based on your enemies, switching your party around to take full advantage of their distinct abilities might be in your best interest.

  • @shinnman7 the three girls

  • Try getting a 3x multiplier before you use the Jets :/

  • i Wish i wouldve watched this earlier. ive been stuck at the fifth ark and raines keeps kickin my ass. ugh

  • @JakeJagged seriously? Bartandalus is WAY harder than raines. Raines took me 3 minutes to kill.

  • fail, wait to upgrade once you hit x3

  • @Saucymaggots69713 I thought the max was x2 wow this changes everything 0.O

  • Hope's house FTW!

  • this is barely about upgrading.

  • I farmed those lil pinguin guys tho but on da other side of da map. i didnt had 2 run alot cuz theres 5-6 groups there and 4 groups r easy 2 backstab.usin com com rav. once u have ruinga and da 5th atb its easy 2 do good aoe dmg. ruinga + Blitz looks awsome tho lol da 1st fights r hard no doubt but after a lil while i did 14 sec battles there. and if u do sum cie'th missions until u get collector catalog equipment ( i bought it befor :( epic fail), ull also get extra drops when u farm there. :D

  • Why use only 22 of the mechanical parts? I fail at understanding this stupid upgrading system -.-

  • @Vampstar27 Because Mechanical parts gives the most XP

  • @Irvinthebest Right.. I would just assume that if the weapon were at say lvl 1.. I would use more than 22 :P I dunno I guess I tend to overdo it. I tried the 22 method on my game and it does work decently nice. I would be totally lost without this vid xD

  • @Irvinthebest ultracompact reactor ftw. (50k item in shop).

  • Ok, honestly...you don't need to grind that much. Assuming you got the game just for the story and not for 100%'ing the whole thing. I completed this and I only grinded for about 30 minutes total. You just need to take the right approach when it comes to battling enemies. And besides, its more fun that way. :) If you really wanna get as much CP as possible, get the growth egg first. ;)

  • What area are you at when you are playing Sahz?

  • Actually, the crystarium is pretty much a variation of the sphere grid system FFX had.

  • When you defeated the final boss of final fantasy can you still play or do you have to restart to play it more?

  • @SpeedDaMusicUp Once you complete it, there are a few movies then it ask you to save and you go back to the main menu. You then load the save and your back in orphans cradle with the boss defeated, but the mission to beat the boss again is still there but you don't have to do it. The Crystarium is now expanded to it's ultimate Level 10, you will need to do much CP farming to max it all. Good CP farming is from the adamtoise, cast haste or use shrouds then go to summon eidolon, debuff it then

  • @y2kboy145 stagger, then use com / com / com when your characters are back for max damage. You can also spam death if you use vanille, but the odds of this working are low but possible. Good Luck.

  • @y2kboy145 thanks :)

  • Why didnt you just say go to manharba and kill from the entrance to the juggernaunt and when you get to the juggernaunt pause n hit retry and go back to the save point. it racks up about 22400 points per run. and 44800 points per trip. in the low levels its about 140,000 CP Points in hour. after the game ends its 88,000 CP every 8 minutes.

  • Wait...those little guys from Gran Pulse can summon? I didn't know that! I usually kill them so fast that don't even have chance to attack.

  • I'm sorry but this video is very wrong and aggravating. Taejin's Tower mission 24 is the best way to grind overall. 1) you get 6000 CP which is just 600 CP less then the King behemoth method. 2) You get the moon blossom seed which sells for 6000 Gil! So that you can actually upgrade and level up way faster than any methods shown in this video.

  • @ch0pstickslrb Well mission 24 is like somewhere in the end at chapter 11 or something.. The movie isnt wrong in the way that it explains different places to farm gil and CP at even early stags, so you can start upgrading earlier if you wish too. Ofc there will always be better spots to grind, but then you need specific stats, and items..

  • This guy's voice reminds me of Wesker in RE: Afterlife... or at least the way he talks does.

  • The behemoth and the wolf thing are probably the easiest way to get CP. You can farm Atticus in Orphan's cradle with deceptisol+preemptive strike, but after you beat the game you can't return to that location. I also highly recommend you get the growth egg as soon as possible. Just give Vanille the upgraded version of the belladonna wand thing, and cast death as fast as you can. Your party needs to have at least 5000 hp and defensive equipment to survive several hits.

  • Yeah ummmmm the behemoth and large dog fighting each other near the entrance to the caverns gives you 7000, plus you always get a preemptive strike so you can take care of the behemoth instantly and the doggy is weak as crap, then turn around and preempt the behemoth behind you. Boom 12-13000 cp in about 2 minutes...

  • i watched this video before i knew about the adamantoise or w/e its called and at 6:35 i was just like... What.. the.. fuck... was .... that....

  • Go to the megistotherian and behemoth king, these battles are really easy the plan is just have Com Com Rav you'll always get a preemptive strike and they take me 37 seconds (Max) to kill and give 6600cp (13200 cause i have the growth egg).

  • @RemixNoob i find using Fang as lead and then hope and light with a Com Rav Rav works wonders takes me about 14 seconds each run ._.

  • which is the best weapon for each character

  • A good thing I'm in the process of creating the Ultimate Weapons Upgrade Guide because all the other ones I've found are completely terrible. If anyone will be interested in it, hit me up and I'll hand it over once it's finished. Note that my guide will include, with a small percent chance of error, how much experience is needed to fully upgrade every weapon, allowing you to know for sure how much exp. you need. Again, this will be the ultimate weapon guide for those interested.

  • Since when 640cp is alot lol...

  • Binarpilot music in the intro, that guy is awesome!!

  • It isnt final fantasy, it si final hallway

  • @kingkonz1 if that was meant to make sense then you failed terribly

if you meant that to be a insulting towards the game then i guess you tried at the least. TRIED not succeded.

if yu meant to make a pissed off comment replying like you most likley were going to do then go right ahead. just be prepared for me not giving a sht or even bother reading it cause i can tell your comment will consist of random swears that dont fit and constant whining throughtout your 500 charecter comment

  • Fail... only using 1.5x bonus instead of 3x?

using 22 items for xp bonus, instead of calculating howmuch you need and maxing it out at once?

Not so efficient for a semi-professional guide.

  • @hir013 what makes the 3x bonus?

  • @joncording12

There is a hidden mechanic (many decent guides will tell you) when you use organic items you will gain little xp but this mechanic will gain points. up to 500 max. at 500 you will have 3x bonus.

i believe sturdy bones, vibrant ooze were the most cost efficient.

mechanical items give more xp so use them when u have 3x.mechanical items reduce this hidden mechanic so you have to use enough in one go. you will have to calc exactly howmuch xp you need. try gamefaqs(many helpful guides)

  • @hir013 totally agree here, wasting alot of money bye only using 1.5 :\

  • @hir013 I think he was more making a point of having the bonus, then telling you to get the 1.5.

  • @AlecRunning1124

He is going on about the "most possible bang out of your buck"

so I'd sincerely disagree that 1.5x is the best he can come up with.

Especially since he doesn't even mention that 3x is the max.

Also his knowledge just seems lacking. "these things always summon a large bird thing"

no the summon is randomly chosen of a few different enemies.

  • @hir013 what do you mean?

  • I managed to kill that AdamanChelid easy when I just Started Gran Pulse!

  • Cactus thing? It's a fucking cactuar!

  • How do i get all my different ablities in my ablities bar when fighting?? Like i unlocked them in the CP thing but i dont know how i get to them when fighting. For example, Thunder spell for Lightning. PLEASE HELP

  • So, what can you sell if you don't have the Chips?

  • blue bla creatures???

  • first off how did u get snow coat different

  • @Zondafreak93 his coat is his weapon. try change his weapon and you will see a different emblem on his coat.

  • The best Crystogen Point farming place I found was the 2nd one he mentioned 5:40 You'll most likely fight them Preemptively. I have Lightning, Hope and Sahz as Com-Rav-Rav. When battle starts, I have my default to 'Abilities' instead of 'Auto-Battle' to save time, then quickly go and use two 'Blitz'. Two Blitz will be enough to Stagger them. Keep repeating Blitz on them while the other two Ravager them dead. This'll take probably around 10 seconds to kill. Its pretty awesome.

  • Hey i have defeated the last boss but then i go back to gran pulse its no new units or stronger enemis. my characters are level 4 in almost every default. please help

  • Bad guide

  • @JenovaDoll why don't you do one ??

  • did he just called us Gay mers? ololololo

  • Snow Hits Lightning at 7:03 !!!! LOL!

  • those little guys in gran pulse is far easier when you have got lightning/ATT fang/ATT hope/RAV

  • 47 people actually know how to play this game

  • Sorry but bad video and grinding the little creature for a day doesn't give you enough CP to max your character in every role. And the oretoise you fought is an adamanchelid not long gui. And using 26 diabolic tails gives u 3X multiplier.

  • what is wrong with snow's coat

  • if you let the cactaur grow they will give you about 15k cp

  • can anyone tell me what those yellow circles mean.. on the ground at pulse

  • @59puff theyre just like the blue ones that let u jump, u just have to use a chocobo

  • @shadowassassian7 ok ...thanks a lot can't wait for a chocobo >.<

  • @59puff it's used for chocobo jumping

  • why the fuck you telling us about crystarium on the weapons guide

  • vannile and chazz xD

  • Thats funny, at 7:51 he says "heck you'll even be able to take on those giant dinosaur things without any problem what so ever" and as he says this he is fighting a sho long gui (one of the strongest enemies in the game) and it is using quake as its first move as it always does and this guy...switches to relentless assault....RELENTLESS ASSAULT; on sho long guis quake, clearly this guy has never fought one before, but can take them on without any problems what so ever. Dick!

  • @ultimaweapownage Actually that is an adamantchild....A long shui is much larger. Looks more like YOU have never faught one.

  • @TheHiddenGate Sho long gui and adamantchild are the same size, prehaps you think i meant long gui as your comment seems to suggest. The sho long gui has a blue colouring while the adamantchild has a more orange colouring. Also, all sho long gui use quake at the start of the battle as their first move, as this one did, adamantchild dont use quake untill after their first stagger. I have fought many sho long gui farming for dark matters. Try getting some facts right before making accusations.

  • @ultimaweapownage Try getting a life before acting all big headed.

  • this video was posted on my birthday *-*

  • Shaz?

  • @kcooper1000 everyone knows it is pronounces 'Sars'. Like the horrible disease.

  • Comment removed

  • @wassuplife Not if you're English!

  • @kcooper1000 Lol I think he said "Chaz" XD

  • @kcooper1000 I was like who? the Australian voice acting must be melting his mind..

  • theres a spot that in the tower of ch 9 i think, with all those yellow robot things (forget their names) they give 8000 cp per battle. at that point in the game its fairly easy to level up the crystarium.

  • 6:00

Protip: The trick is to kill them as quickly as possible. Thanks Gamezone.

  • birdy and a fucking giant thing :[]

  • birdy

  • its so hard to get the chip things >.<
