way too slow, but srsly, i wish my band played it this slow. I have the tenor sax part, and i have cue notes for baritone sax, bassoon, and bass clarinet, none of which we have in our band.
It's definitely way too slow, but at least you're getting the notes. We're playing this in my music class right now. I've got the solo clarinet part as well and I'm finding it impossible to play through the whole thing. Not sure why they arranged it so that the lead clarinet gets the original solo violin part, but they did.
just started learning this song omg got some work but yeah it is very slow oh well. Lets see if we can even attempt to do better. The band needs more balance of sound.sounds nice though
While it might be a bit slow, it's better than just running past the great parts, *cough* most orchestras *cough*. Congrats on being principal player!
wow a dying rabbit crying for its life sounds better than this, probably would be better if you upped the temop a whole lot, somewhere around 130 on the metranome and if thier was better pitch
Yes, I know it is. I tried to get my conductor to play it faster but it was only the entry level high school band, which is a huge skill level difference compared to a youth orchestra. I'm sure you'll do well.
The tempo is at least 30 beats too slow and the main melody for the low winds is missing.
