"im gon take some of this money and gon give some back. Cause people wont forget about the time you gave ...and start thinking bout a path to pave"
learning this about life now... man this album was part of my childhood. I bought this album and supreme clientele from ghostface the same day. I miss them days.
"When the record starts to skippin and slowin down, all I can say is "'dem ni66as earned their crown..." They certainly did...all of their albums are classics...ALL of them...What other rap group can boast that?
@bigdogmoe69 Speakerboxx/The Love Below is not a compilation as all material on it is not previously released, and how could anyone not consider Big Boi & Dre better than Stankonia. Let us not forget that Big Boi & Dre also has 5 songs off of Southerplayalistic.
I havent bought any Outkast albums since Aquemini. I grew up on this shiz right here. I just can't dig the new stuff like that. But then again, I cant dig any new hip hop like the hip hop from the 90's.
@ChartStalker ?By a country mile? Have you heard the very first album. I'm not arguing with you homie, I'm just saying. I'm sure millions would agree the first one was every bit as good or better than this one.
Son, someday you will make a girl very happy, for a short period of time. Then she'll leave you to be with a new man who is ten times better then you could ever be.

Best rap album, ever (imo). Best rap group, ever. And yes, Backbone ALWAYS comes hard. Too bad he hasn't (and probably never will) get any sort of nationwide recognition/sales.
This is one of the best track on the Aquemini album. It's even one of the best by Outkast if you ask me. I can't believe this was 9 years ago. Time flies.
Aquemini is just a continuation of 'Kast quality, thought provoking, classic beats, rhymes, and life. West Savannah was my shit and i was diggin' Skew It On The Barbie for the collabo wit' Rea.
This to me is the best album in the world. alot of things changed after this album; Both everyday lifeand the rap game.Nuff respect i`m out ladies and gentlemen.
Master P did a lot of biting late in his reign, huh? I'm 33 and from NYC, so I saw the rap game unfold and Outkast has been dope for over 12 years. NYC loves Outkast!!! I hope they come back and put REAL south rap back in the mix!!!!
One the best release dates ever in hiphop - November 3, 1998 - Outkast - Aquemini, Lauryn Hill - Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, Jay-Z - Hard Knock Life and A Tribe Called Quest - The Love Movement

My Opinion -
1. Speakerboxx/The Love Below
2. Big Boi & Dre Present, Outkast
3. Aquemini
.... Of Course it is arguable that the first two are not "Proper" albums.
