This brings me to something I have pondered over time... seeing the "It Gets Better" videos but also seeing so many suicides due to isolation or constant barrage of hateful destructive comments. I think a person's outcome largely has to do with family support and where you live. I have to highly suggest that, if you are willing, you find a place where there is a more supportive population or there are a few online social...
@lezquestions (part 2) groups which will enable to you to socialize with other butches and femmes. For some it isn't all that important but if it is, there are ways to find that special person for you. Please know there are many femmes in this world who love love love butches. We are hard to find, I know, but if you know the right places to go, we will be visible to you. Good luck in your life and your pursuits and stay strong and honest about who you are. <3
there really is an unwritten code of conduct among butches and how they treat their femmes..no one has ever made me feel as beautiful.. its so nice to know there are other women like me...femmes are so hard to spot...but keep your eyes open! we are out there and you make our hearts race and our cheeks rosy from blushing. thank you for being you..

Thanks! I have not heard those words since my wife passed away in 2008. I thought she was the only one that truly understood me as a butch and grateful for me to be in her life. Never thought any woman ever felt the same as she did. Thanks for taking the time to make this. :-)

Hrm... I commented again but I guess it didn't go through. I wanted to acknowledge the ftm transgenders because I realize it isn't the same as being butch. My partner skates the line on this but mainly ID's as FTM but doesn't want to take it as far as some. He has taught me a lot and I've evolved mentally and emotionally and become a strong advocate for all my trans peeps, mtf and ftm. Love you guys/gals!!!
