  • it look like the vtte dont even know the gtr is there or dint even bother

he was talking to is wife when he was driving the vette that why he pull over

he sadi ho shit there was a car behind me ???

  • @MrPatbull its not a gtr....its a g35 or 350gt...NOT the gtr.

  • @88DriftKid88 oups,

i own a 1999 corvette covert, stock i race a g37 one time and we were side by side all the way to 5 gear till i star to pass it slowly,i came back home and it say they have 348 hp if am corect? my 12 years old c5 have 345hp

need less to say it was a very good race

  • @MrPatbull crank and wheel hp are totally different, this is a completly different ballgame here being a g35 and a c6 the C6 has much more power then the G and if it had better tires and a tighter suspension id bet it would take corners quiet like the G, the Gs problem is its weight. the suspension its Matched with a Porsche's so no doubt would it be able to rip on the more torqued up C6. good driving on both tho

  • Nice driving skills. The C6 has way more power under the hood then the g35. Both cars are gr8 but the C6 should have blown the g35 away no contest !!

  • Yep...I have G35 Coupe. The guy driving the G knows how to drive. The guy driving the C6 doesnt. They should swap cars....and let's see what happens. The C6 would be gone!

  • my guess is he did a nice job vs. the Vette around the track because of driving skill alone - the G35 just doesn't have enough to keep up if the drivers are evenly matched - but come on people, you really don't have to justify the comparison to a C6 - the G35 isn't in the same league - just give credit where credit is due - the driver..

  • the problem is with the corvette DRIVER not the vette itself !

  • Very sweet G35 i've got to say, bad-ass sound!!

  • Great run! -G35 all day.

  • @MrNuttinbutaGthang Thanks for the comments everyone, with just a few suspension mods this car was very neutral & a ball to drive at the track!

  • Wonderful driving, too bad there are too many people with Gs out there who just show off with them.

  • nice driving!

  • 20 grand in the g35... i'm sorry, but 20k extra in a c6 manual is 550rwhp from twin turbos. coilover suspension. and big brake kit... that g35 would never come close to that beast. corvettes own a sub 7:30 nurburgring lap... stock on stock the vette would dominate as lomg as the driver is compitant

  • that's true but you must remember that you are comparing a v6 to an 8 so modded for modded a v8 would most likely outperform the 6. but the g35 driver in this video does a great job out braking the vette and the G does sound nasty (in a good way). regardless this is not much of a comparison between the two.

  • engine power isnt really a huge thing on a track... your cars suspension is limiting your power output through corners...

  • ZR1 owns a sub 7:30, Z06 and base Vette are well over that.. The point is that the G lacks in one are and it can be made up in others.. I dont know where you got the argument about 20 grand.. Any car can be so modded after 20 grand its hardly a shadow of what it was when they started. So thats kind of a mute point.

  • ok...20k in a g35 is what, 45-50k? taking us to the price of a stock c6. these cars are very close on this track. to get to that 550rwhp you're talking about, now we're talking about a 70k vette. of course this g35 wouldn't come close to that, it's twice the price!!

  • nice vid...ive had those same nismo lmgt4 wheels...awesome wheels for tracking...

  • the car handles so well he only needs one hand to steer it

  • You sit too far away from the wheel, and you're too casual about having one hand on the wheel.

  • This is the best position for me. I'm tall so if I sat any closer my knees would be under my chin. You're right, I have a relaxed attitude while tracking. I've been racing karts & motorcycles since I was a kid so I'm comfortable doing it. You don't won't to be up tight & have a white knuckle death grip on the steering wheel when you're on the track believe me. I agree with you about keeping both hands on the steering wheel though, I noticed that when I saw my video...

    Take care

  • I can somewhat relate. My legs are very short, but i have a long torso. It's not fun sitting so closely to the wheel and have my helmet smack rub against the ceiling.

Sorry for for coming off rude. You seem like a nice guy!

  • I like to have both hands on the wheel when going around turns at high speeds. It just feels like you have so much more control with 2 hands. I'm not so much concerned about it on a straight away under 100 mph though. But I notice the driver had 2 hands on the wheel when turning. But hey... whatever works for you then keep on doing it. Good driving man

  • Don't make me laugh

    I don't think so!

I am sure that you will at least get a lot of responses in that people will certainly - want to say - just what I just have

uh' Don't think so, but keep on dreamin'

  • good driving by the g driver. The vette definetely let him by on that straight. Theres just no way an na g35 could pass him. I own a g35 and love the hell out of it. I reallly dont care what car can beat me on a straight away. thats only 1/4 of what makes a car a good car.

  • for all you idiots that say a G35 handles better your wrong, stock for stock the corvette owns handles better for a number of reasons. Its lighter, significantly lower, has wider tires, stiffer suspension, and i believe it may be better balanced as well, but i could be wrong about that

  • cool....but not true .....

  • Cool vid, i hope ppl understand that the vette in this video was either letting him pass or seeing as the vette was heading to the left which is where all exits are from the track. So please dont think the G35 won this race because it would never happen. The G35 does not have the power to pass the vette it just simple math really... Power to weight ratio. But you did some good driving in that G35 as well as the vette, both cars were pushing hard. Nice vid.

  • The g could hav still caught him in the corners

  • Not a chance in hell a g35 handles better than a vette.

  • hell ya a g35 handles way better in the corners. How do u think it caught up, on the straights?

  • Its called driver mod. Let the drivers switch cars and I gaurantee the g35 will steadily lose ground.

  • LOL, typical ricer flyby. Vette slowing down to exit track and G35 passing it and thinking it won after getting whored for over 3 laps! LOL!!

  • Wow, Uh not really. The way pocono works it's not true there isn't a exit there. Why the vette slowed down I have no clue.

  • 2003 G35 Coupe 6MT

Hello - I am the current owner of this G35 (not the driver in the video although I know him personally) anyway - I have this G35 for sale on modifiedcartrader . com and autotrader for $25,500 firm. that is about $3K above book value and $20K+ worth of mods/upgrades. Car has 31Kmiles and brand new Michellin PS2s email me if you are interested - serious inquirys only please kaisermhw @ yahoo . com

  • is that a 2004?

  • lol as if!!

  • What was the top speed on the straights?

What mods are on the 35?

  • It's a short 1.3 mile road race track, so I was reaching a little over 100 mph on the straights.

  • Nice Classy G bro, Love the lights are those Led's on your clearance strip?

  • Wow! Good Driving Skills!
