@50states1 obvious really; they're not in par with a free society. Minimal wage has good intentions but shows bad results. It is especially bad with our economy bc of inflation and deflation, and is a big contributor to poor communities staying poor and small businesses not remaining afloat.
With FEMA, there are other ways of dealing with emergencies esp locally but the problem with local communities trying to help is that Fema gets in their way. Fema makes the situation worse, and is bankrupt.
Glass-Stegall doesn't meet the muster of Constitutional...that is why Ron Paul is against it, it established the FDIC...if you don't know what the problem with that it, you should probably head to another subject and let the grown ups talk
The pot heads love ron paul, but they are living in a dream world. His ideas would never be approved by the house and senate. Ron Paul's supporters along with Ron Paul are living is a theoretical world.
@billybassman21 theoretical world? Well your optimistic, uh? Give Ron Paul the presidency and he will re-educate the entire house, senate and country.
Ron Paul passionately excoriates preemptive war doctrine - wants the US out of the UN - wants the elimination of the Federal Reserve - resists the globalist agenda - Objects to US forces occupying over 100 countries - calls for an end to unnecessary foreign aid - Supports the right to keep and bear arms, homeschooling, and the Sanctity of Life Act. He's the CHAMPION of the CONSTITUTION who has my vote! I sent MONEY!
for and on the record here in the liberal valley of massachusetts Ivoted/ supported Ron Paul in 1988, 2008 and currently, though like lew rockwell {former Paul staffer} I will no longer vote in these farce elections.
@DanielShaysRebellion. consider yourself a fallen soldier. Thank you for your service, but Liberty cannot stop in order to grieve over the loss. We have bigger tasks on our hand than pandering to pseudo-intellectuals like you who would fight each other for the purity of their "correct" nuance.
@ForLiberty888 interesting how you make an assumption then assail my actions and character. leading by example has little to do with being pandered to by anyone. tell me, how can a bankster or a political whore survive if few procure their product? do you use Fed notes? private credit, govt. statutes? perhaps you are unamerican in your actions because you are blinded by being a "pseudo-intellectual hater" Read your bank account contract and power of attorney transfers and get back to me
Phuq Glass-Steagaland and any regulations. Let the banks and investment firms go bankrupt and be bought by other people. New owners would not speculate more than they can hedge against (but since they bought on the cheap, more jobs would be created.) Simple like that - get the government out of the way and old fart LaRouche is no wise man.
@ForLiberty888 yes but what about the NEW farts? how can a bank fail when so many are whores for their product? glass-stegal or not who is driving demand? its only a " get rich quick scheme" if someone BUYS the story or sales pitch. ponzi schemes only survive because of the demand for product or reward, if your early you may get paid, but its late in this game, they own governments and guns and will take your butter if you let them. Do regulations come with loopholes? is security built in?
Though to be fair, LaRouche's Glass-Steagal reinstatement would provide an interim stop-gap. But unless a phaseout's built in, SEC like now, would be nothing more than like any other Fed.Agencies: staffed by the very industry insiders that it purports to 'regulate.' Frankly ENTIRE WallSt.SHOULD crash. They're nothing more than gambling junkies. Institutional banks/high-freq.trading computer algorithms determine prices which have nothing to do w/actual revenue or even perceived value of a company
@RosenKrantz666 ????? how can anyone "short" the FED? if the fox is watching the hen house {SEC} why regulate? what if demand for FED "private credit" dried up? could there be a "run on the fed bank"? could it be the word "cash" is generic enough to foster confusion? Can anyone exchange FED FRN's for anything else? is the a distinction between public and private credit? How is it that @50% do not pay taxes, yet are not in jail? is there some statutory loophole at work? Exchange Ur FRN's!
Lol, its Evermont King! Thought I would never see him alive again after that beat down he took on Bully Beatdown. Search for "Bully Beatdown King" here on yt for the fight. HAHAHA! Funny as hell, think you should smoke some more weed King!
I agree with the Larouche guy on Glass-Steagal ... but ron paul is a pure free market person. Monopolies should be broken down too ... and we should tighten up the US border because of the illegals.
But you're never gonna get 100% agreement on everything. I still support Dr. Paul 100% ... he's a good genuine and intelligent statesman.
@peltecs Dig LaRouche-ites: ONLY IF they weren't such FDR worshippers/Infrastructure-Statists (PowerPlants/HighSpeedRail/select industries/Mfg,etc. as IF those aren't inherently corporatist schemes).
They support practically everything RP stands for aside from abortion, immigration, & ending theFED(they want their function under TreasuryDpt.) & heavy monetary controls, as if instituting a govt w/powers to capital control won't/couldn't be taken over by GoldmanSUX/NWO.WallSt.Banksters, again.

Glass-Steagal wouldn't be necessary if we didn't have the FDIC and 0% loans from the Federal Reserve.
