I believe the band doing this cover are called Big Tobacco & the Pickers, I just saw them in Toronto. They have more vids on youtube of better quality, you should check em' out if you like this!
OLD CROW THIS IS NOT! STOP MISLABELING YOUR POOR QUALITY COVERS! and if you want to sound more like ocms, start drinking more whiskey and Coke if you know what i mean
Everybody's a critic. That was one show. I liked it because the vox and the mood were all Huddy Ledbetter. Listen to the original and you'll appreciate it all the more. I'd 've loved to set in on that and learn a few licks. I dig it.
The song was great, honestly, the harp was scary! I had to take the shotgun out of my dogs mouth! Don't give up though, it only took me 30 years to learn to play harmonica.
Chuck Willis singing C C Rider with the saxaphone that gives you chills in the background always stoped me in my tracks when it played on the juke box in the late 1950's and I would wait till it finished to go back swimming at RADIUM SPRINGS IN ALBANY, GA. I was 14 years old when his version was popular.OLD ED
Weird that the ask if anyone has heard of Old Crow before playing CC Rider, which is not an Old Crow song. CC Rider is one of those songs older than dirt, covered by everyone from the Grateful Dead to Elvis (no joke!).
can't please everyone I guess. I thought it was great, mislabeled though

You sound like Old Crow. Which is good, I love their version of this song.

The twangy voice by the man in the black cap is too forced. A better title for this video would have been 500 Keele - CC Rider cover.

It's a traditional song. Ma Rainey had a hit with this song 10 years before Elvis was born, dumbass.

I know, that was implied by what I said. Ma Rainey was a blues singer in the 20's.
