    Nice game, congrats!

    Are you using a CCSpriteBatchNode along with a texture atlas?

    Thats the correct way to optimize sprites, also, your textures should be sized in powers  of 2.

    Example: 64x128, 256x256, etc

    Also its a good idea to create a loading scene, so y can preload sound and music for example.

    I hope y Fps get to 60!

  • Where do you get the sounds from? And do you use a program to modify the sounds? If so what program.

  • Did you work out why the FPS was dropping when including the background image?

    Do you have a link to your blog with any solution you came up with?

  • How did you do the map for the Levels.

    It's pretty cool :)

  • @Blitfast Thank you very much. I am trying not to get into anything too intense since this is my first attempt at the iphone but I do enjoy the mario style 2d games so I wanted to try a game like that. I hope people enjoy the game for some simple fun.

    I do think that the real hard part in all of this will be getting ppl to know about the game, since it is easy to get lost in the app Store.
