It's so hard to depict my favorite character. Especially in the later seasons, when Paget Brewster and Joe Mantegna join the cast, and Kirsten Vangsness becomes a permanent rather than "guest starring" character.
Though, for me, it's a tough cross between Reid and Garcia.
I just realized that nowhere in the episode did they play the music "Tipper" by Illabye. When this episode originally aired in 2005 [although I did not watch the show at that time], that particular piece of music was used starting at 21:45. Why is it that this is not the case right now? Is this the DVD rip? If so, why would they change the music? I'm incredibly curious...
has anyone else noticed how that, when Reid is nervous or something, he always scratches his neck????? he does it when Gideon tells him he can go talk to the guy alone at the bigging, he also does it in later episodes. Reid is so cute!!!!
the guy who does the disturbed brother in law is very good, he's an amazing actor, he's been in quite a bit, the first time i saw him was as olaf the troll god from buffy, then as one of the drug hillbillys from without a paddle, but he's been in so much more and here he showed how talented he is.
Just love how Gideons over there screaming his head off... Derek jumps and is starin at him like he's done lost his mind... and the the uniform(s) in the background are just over there doing whatever they were doing like nothing strange is going on... haha XD

Mm, to the contrary. I know quite a few mothers who do that. Some will completely skip the name and just call him [usually a him] junior. So there's nothing unrealistic about it...
