  • this song couldn't be more perfect

  • Thank You,Allen!

I love Procol Harum since 1967 very much.

For me is this group the best forever.

    Greetings from Hungary: Ildiko

  • And if I may ask, I'd like to keep the dislikes, to a minimum.

    thank you

  • Robin's guitar work on both albums is sublime!

  • never tire of this song...ever

  • The kind of song you would choice to send it on a rocket to distant civilizations.

  • Procol Harum es una de las bandas mas proliferas en la historia del rock

  • Yes, It's Robin doing the vocals

  • yes, Robin, the only track he sings on this album

  • I 'll have this song played at my funeral.

  • Trower singing

  • Yes, when Robin's Tower went to Bobby Johnson's farm a crossroad opens it's ears too!

  • Thanks for taking the time to post this!

  • Robin Trower is one of the most underrated guitarists esp. with Procol Harum which I prefer over his solo work. Every note is so perfect

  • aaah. the blues.this is how it is done, courtesy of robin trower, matthew fisher, and b.j wilson.

  • i have been under the spell of this song for a quarter century, maybe more

probably ever since i first heard it

One of my favorite guitar solos in there...of all time!

The lyrics to this day rip into my stomach -

"and if you could see inside me, i don't think you'd have me here."

"and if you could see inside me, I don't think you'd have me here."

  • it's Trower

  • overlooked song from A Salty Dogw psychogically inSightful "Words" from Keith Reid-w/ Trower doin vocal-Fisher produced the LP

    their third before leaving

  • the lead singer is trower.

  • Trower

  • The singer is Mathew Fisher or Robin Trower ?

  • @halgar51 I think its Robin Trower

  • @allennnnnn91 ...Yes it is !!

  • @halgar51

    Trower.

His best vocal track ever IMO.

  • A Salty Dog is a spectacular album. It's the kind of album that if you like a few of the songs but wonder about the rest--BUY THE ALBUM! The rest will grow on you.

  • this track kills on just about every level -- lead guitar, piano, vocals.. even the drum work is smokin!

  • cant forget the organ!

  • Thanks...Classic form 1969...Go Robin Go

  • Best Trower's composition ever!

  • Truly awsome. From the best record.

  • Yeah I really enjoy this track from A Salty Dog.

    Great album!

  • great one*****from the original group

  • Thanks for uploading this one off A Salty Dog. Always a good listen, and to hear Robin Trower's guitar work back in 1969.
