Hey thanks for putting up this video!!! I have a business where i hand make hairbows, and I have been pretty successful at it! I learned from my mom who has been making bows for wholesale for the past 25 years. Anyway, i was wanting to make bow holders for my business as well. I was just wondering--- does the tutu skirt have to be FULL all the way around? Or can it be made by just putting the tulle in the front? I have been making these tutu bow holders as well, but havent started selling t
@sajohaynes Prior to using the full tutu, I would hand tie tulle strips around a 2" crochet headband and only do the front, so to answer your question - Yes you can and it looks very pretty. Just follow the no sew tutu tutorial and use the crochet headband in place of a no roll elastic waistband. Hope this helps :)
@TheLuneta22 - I use to sell the bodices (and will again this summer). They are seasonal unfortunately as we do our wood cuts only in the summer months. You can buy a sheet of Luan from the lumber store and make your own :)
@pearl6570 you don't necessarily need a business license to buy a tutu :) Just google "wholesale tutus". You will find a number of businesses willing to sell you tutu's at wholesale cost.
Love it!!! My girls are going to love it too. Thanks. If you don't mind me asking, how much do you sale them for? I know once I make them all my friends and family are going to want one :-) My husband always says I need to think of the time I am putting into it. If you like you can email it to me trendybabys@gmail.com
@DeDe1H1- This is my brand new style bowholder and I think that our original style would better accommodate you as you have MANY bows to clip to the ribbon streamers. You could always add more ribbon (to the new style), but I don't recommend it. You'll need a 1 inch crochet hairband and a bolt of tulle (6 inches wide) then you'll have to hand tie the tulle on to the headband - then arrange the tulle headband over the bodice as we have with the tutu shown above.
