Its funny that I started out on a quest to achieve perfect Dime tone. I always wanted an ML though. So I bought the amps and the guitars and learned songs. I learned a lot from covering the tunes just like you said. The novalty of the tone wore off though and I sold all my Dime amps but I love the guitars. They are so comfortable that I feel awkward playing any other shape now. I still like my Strat and RR V but they are not as comfy as the ML to my hands. The necks are perfect on the ML.
