The Magazine 3D World had their own VFX scene Awards last summer, I´m sure you know. With this movie out, all 25 scenes should be covered with this movie in my opinion I haven´t seen anything as good yet

i love the movies. but not for the (amazing, amazing) action. i love the uniqueness about it. LOVE LOVE the transformers movies. I hope theres going to be a tf4. its just so different from anything i ever watched especially how the human story ties in with the tf story. its just soo awesome. love it!

@sevan2007 We use a combination of proprietary software and commercial software - Maya was used for the animation.

I watched the Oscars 2008 Live and I was so mad when you lost the VFX oscar to the stupid Polar Express, that was ahhhhwww!!! Hope so much that you get the Oscar for best VFX this year I wish you all the best and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!! Hopefully you win all three of them :D

This movie was a piece of crap as far as writing goes, but god damnit, it is so ridiculously entertaining and the effects are groundbreaking.

Like, The Matrix groundbreaking. Like T2 groundbreaking.

The Academy needs to give these hardworking geniuses what they deserve, and not give it to a film whose visual effects are already starting to look outdated (I'm looking at you polar bear movie).

In my opinion the editors (sound, visualfx etc.) are really underrated, you always hear people talking about the actors and directors and obviously they are extremely important, but I know for sure that for example Transformers wasn't that amazing without the amazing work from all the editors. They deserve more fame and recognition besides their name at the end of the movie.
