  • JOYGASM!

  • I act like that all the time no really,

  • The riddler kicks @ss

  • Jim used to be awesome, now he takes advice from penguins.

  • love this movie

  • This was a favorite as a child. I've wondered since then, when you hit that inflection point from disgruntled to evil-rebellious, do you get a free set of contact lenses, or does your vision simply self-correct?

  • "Caffeine il kill ya!" Classic lmao

  • Despite the fact that people hate Joel Schumacher for making the Batman franchises into a joke...At least the villians were the most memorable...Seriously, Jim Carrey, Tommy Lee Jones, Arnold Schwarzenegger (sp?), and Uma Thurman were more captivating than the sullen Val Kilmer Batman or the goofy George Clooney Batman (Nipples and a Bat Card sum up Clooney's run)

  • @CAWGregoryBlack

George Clooney was a shockingly awful Batman.

  • @BaronOfStuff Indeed he was and it's as plain as the nipples on his bat suit.

  • @BaronOfStuff I can't help but crack-up seeing Clooney in that Batman get-up

  • @Deadman20101000

It really is just laughably absurd. Everyone else was convincing in their Batman role, and as far as suspension of disbelief goes I could believe they were Batman while watching their films. But Clooney? No. Even as a kid, I never liked it. He was never Batman, not even in the context of the movie. He was simply George Clooney dressed up as Batman.

  • @CAWGregoryBlack seems like the villians are alway stealing the thunder while the heroes tends to stagnate. Just ask Darth Vader.

  • 5:28 Its the Riddler Dance!

  • i love the scene when they're playing battleship lol

  • skip to 8:30 for Flaming Lip's audio cameo for "Bad Days"

  • 0bama = edward nigma

that's what he becomes after sucking too much arab cock and having sex with muslim children from Gitmo

  • Thumbs up if you find 6:26-6:30 funny lol

  • I approve of this movie - Jim Carrey was Phenomenal

  • Why Oh Why!

  • stayed up with a friend when this was on video and watched it maybe 9 or 10 times in one night. im sure it hasnet effected me at all as an adult, lol

  • I am going to make The Riddler costume for the 2012 Istrocom festival in Bratislava (Slovakia) ... I am looking forward for it. Jim Carrey as The Riddler is absolutely great. ... Edward Nigma (The Riddler) the greatest antagonist ever. :)

  • haha, I found this in my cubicle, youll find the handwriting matches his exactly, as does sentence structure and spelling. Best line ever.

  • So, this is why corporate America is pushing 3-d TVs so hard.

  • 8:26 academy award winning performance!

  • The only redeemable thing about Joel Schumakama-lama-ding-dong's Batman movies was Jim Carrey.

  • ED-NIGMA

    HAHA

    .....punny

  • I actualy thought this movie was pretty good.

  • jim carrey is just so funny, pity he was in such a crappy movie

  • OMG 3:09-3:18 0______e scary...

  • They should make a brand new Batman movie with Jim Carrey as The Riddler (Again). If you have played Batman: Arkham City, it would be cool if they made him a bit like The Riddler from the game and i think that Jim Carrey would be good as him. :)

  • theyve already got 3-d cinemas with so many people going to see lion king.... MOTHER OF GOD!!!

  • Heavy Metal meets House and Garden!

  • 3:48

keep pressing it ovr and ovr again. xD

  • enigma, you touch that switch...

    Which one?! THIS!!!!!

  • "A FLOCK OF FRICKEN' FREUDS!" Classic!

  • love the song during his plan in his plot to show bruce he's the better man in gothem city love the film

  • 1:49

I'm pretty sure the guys who came up with the idea of 3D movies gave the same spiel

  • Jim carrey was over the top (im assuming because of the script) but he showed at times that he was an awesome riddler. wish he wasnt in this series so he couldve had a chance at the dark knight rises...sigh

  • bruce wayne here looks like a nerd...

  • this movie is the dark knight compared to batman and robin.

  • @badbrains4244 Uh...not really. The Riddler's scenes show that Jim Carrey had potential, but they're still not very good, the whole movie is lame and kiddie-fied compared to the Burton movies, and Two-Face's characterisation is a fucking disgrace. There's corny acting everywhere, and the entire script is geared up to be relatable to children (references to saturday morning cartoons, ridiculous pseudo-science). Quality-wise, it's the same as Batman & Robin, just with fewer puns.

  • 8:38 when he looks around in the apartment LMAO :D!!!

  • ''OOOOOHHHH nice fall but a little rough on the landing,he may have to settle for the bronze'' MUHUAHAHHAHAHHA!! >:D

  • Edward is so cute! <3

Goshhh i love The Riddler <33

  • I always wondered where the hell Nygma got all the Riddler merchandise at his workplace and at his appartment, before he invents the persona?

  • LOL at 4:30

  • @ Roachtrix- when has the Riddler (or Two-Face) been a cackling idiot? Both of them are cold and calculating. Not friggin goofballs. Yes- they are psychotic, but not goofballs... Jim Carrey ruined the Riddler and almost killed the franchise...

  • @thedocdodge STFU idiot

  • @t6253 lol

  • I want jim carrey become carnage

  • 6:23 was my favorite part!

  • @AlexRider589 dude jim carrey did a great job as the riddler so Gfys

  • Hi diddle diddle, time for a riddle

  • Blender Hat ! :D

  • Jim Carrey kept this movie from being as bad as Batman and Robin.

  • @ukhistorian The rest of the cast was great too, especially Val Kilmer. O'Donnel was also the perfect '90s Robin. B&R made everybody look worse than they were.

  • @ukhistorian I think i'd have to agree... some people wouldn't say so but I think only Johnny Depp as a possible new Riddler could top Jim's version ^_^ one's wonderful at it already, the other would be just as brilliant though different

  • 1:34 *face palm* It could make us billions of millions of dollars, but it isn't aesthetically appeasing and being presented with enthusiasm! I am frightfully embarrassed.

Bruce: I agree. The technology behind it is amazing, and it will make us billions. However, I will assume that even if people are willing to become test subjects, it's use will be inherently evil, not therapeutic, even in my control. I'M BATMAN, err, take your research to someone else that is super rich in this corrupt city.

  • 7:00 now that's window pane xD (haha, see what i did there?)

  • really crazy :D

jim carrey did a good job ^^

  • Jim Carrey is just so entertaining to watch.

  • does anyone know the name of the song at 8:35 ?

  • @gameofelijah1 "Bad Days" by The Flaming Lips

  • 5:28 the official riddler dance

  • PLEASE MAKE CARREY RIDDLER IN THE NEW BATMAN SEQUELS!

  • Ed Nygma wait a minute..

    Enigma, very clever. lolol

  • wat is that song close to the end at 9.00?

  • does anyone know the name of the song that was playing when the riddler was in his apartment cutting up the newspaper articles? i think that song is hilarious...

  • @wileycoyotegirl08 @mankind059 Bad Days- The Flaming Lips

  • all riddler fans should be as such, the reason why being, the riddler in "HUSH" had the entire scheme thaught out and layed down to the exact letter, and made it seem like he was just robbin' a bank for shits and giggles. mastermind of a life time of the bat goes to edward (nashton) nygma.......

  • SO COOL the riddler is my fav bad guy in batman

  • Riddle me this, riddle me that - who's better actor then Val Kilmer (twat)??

  • this was a great role for jim carrey. "Police Mind-reading Wars-Verizon." search google.

  • VAL KILMER as BATMAN ?... Well, not such a bad choice I guess...

  • Jim Carrey is the only reason to watch this film.

  • @TindraSan

But he can play the a quirky or dark part. Perfect for the Riddler. I think he has the right look too

  • Johnny Depp would make the best Riddler ever.

  • @palemonsterface

    naaaaah~ I dunno...

Depp has gotten so dark recently, dosen't feel like he can come back to the chocolate factory XD

  • jim carrey could of been a good joker

  • Jim Carrey/Edward Nygma... Why are you so amazing?!

  • i have to admit, this was the best batman movie ever. a combination of over the top badguys, pretty awsome good guys, and best of all, cheesey UFO music snowballed into a spectacular movie.

  • I wish I could dance like him! 5:28

  • i really like the riddler in this movie,,two face sucks here

  • jim has about 700 billion different haircuts in this movie

  • I just can't keep looping from 8:22 to 8:30... ROFL... The me-mo-ries. Sh*t, I've got tears in my eyes from laughing.

  • the riddler and the joker would get along so well. there both crazy, smart, and funny. they could be brothers!!! move over harley.

  • has anyone ever told you you have a SERIOUS IMPULSE CONTROL PROBLEM?!?

  • ...FRED!!!

  • the riddler is the best riddle me this fred what is everything someone and nothing to everyone else YOUR MIND BABY!!!!!!!!!!

  • i love this movie but Joel Shoemaker made it too cartoony

  • You know what? 3D TV is just as awesome as this movie makes it out to be.

  • Jim Carrey made the best riddler...and Heath Ledger made the best joker...they both should've been in a movie together.

  • @Roachtrix actually frank gorshin is the best riddler, but carrey did a pretty good job

  • @Roachtrix shame Heath Ledger shot himself...

  • Iiiiiiii'm sucking up your IQ!!! Vaccumming your cortex!!! Feedin' off your brain!!! *funny little dance* FRED!!!

  • why'd he have riddler dolls again?

  • lol now they have 3d tvs with out having to have the thing on your head

  • what a RUUUSHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD

  • I hope the bring this caracter of Riddler in The Dark Knight Rises in 2012.

  • @georgelewis hell yeah but have david tennant play him

  • @Loopyloualways good but I do not think so he is in the original cast , i know Tom Hardy is villain play "Bane" and Anne Hathaway Catwoman.

  • Caffine will KILL YA! xD LOL

  • Jim Carrey perfect riddler for this and the next Batman movie

  • This movie turned me on to The Flaming Lips.

  • What the HELL is going on here?!

  • 6:37: You are fired! Do you hear me? FIRED!!!

    Oooohhh.... I don't think so!

What I had to laugh there. Jim Carrey is brilliant!!!

  • I like his acting on this movie, that i repeat watching riddle's action many times. it is hilarious, besides the sound editor added some sound effects on it, makes it more funny.

unfortunately the technology when it released is not as sophisticated as now.

  • SURFS UP BIG KAHUNA! baha lol

  • Edward Nigma. Ed Nigma. ENIGMA!!!! . . . now can someone please explain what the word means?

  • @ztslovebird another word for mystery.

  • @ztslovebird I hope you're being sarcastic. xD

  • @littlechefrulez Only 50% sarcastic.

  • @ztslovebird LOL Well, in any case, your question was indeed answered. I'm fond of the word - especially because most people around me don't know the meaning of the word, in fact. xD Congratulations, your vocabulary has been expanded! ^^

  • @ztslovebird A puzzling or inexplicable occurrence or situation.

  • An enigma is a mystery.

  • the riddler invented 3D!

  • @deceptichris Yes, The Riddler did invented 3D TV.

  • Two-face was terrible, Batman is nearly colorless and boring. And Chase is just a prostitute: if I was Nygma, and figured out she sended the false-alarm because of Bruce had to hurry away from me, showing my invention, I would've shot her to cheese.

Riddler and Robin were the best here.

  • How is Chase a prostitute? Just because she has style and grace?

  • @jdogno1

No, it's because she makes conclusions even a child could figure out. And her behavour: she seems more interested in getting into bed with Batman (however she imagines that to happen), than exploring his psychy.

  • She makes conclusions even a child could figure out? What do you mean by that?

The attraction to Batman is based on her fascination with his Psyche. Nothing wrong with that.

  • @jdogno1

Nothing WOULD BE wrong with that, if that actually would be the case. Chase says so, the plot says so, but when she sneeks to the Bat-signal and flirts with Batman, it seems as if she just wants to fuck with Batman. Honestly: that scene is dum, and it's nothing about a grown up psychilogist acting like a hooker.

  • What do you mean she makes conclusions even a child could figure out? What do you mean by that? When does she say that? So her interest is more than professional, so what? True, she flirts with Batman but in that case it wasn't a professional situation. She's allowed to have a personal life. Do you expect her to be some "virgin nurse" (just for the expression that she is a doctor of psychiatry/psychology) forever? PSYCHOLOGIST. She was acting FLIRTY, NOT SLUTY.

  • @qwuezalothus And Don Dragon

  • @qwuezalothus Twoface was fucking awesome and way better than the raped up the ass Dark Knight virgin.

  • @qwuezalothus I cannot believe I wrote 'virgin' instead of 'version'.. That was weird.

  • @AbdoriasysGuitargod

I was surprised how did you know so well about Harvey's private experiences.

  • I'm so glad of this Riddler-isolated scene-video!!

  • Jim Carrey is great here, but does anyone else think that Val Kilmer is an awful choice as Bruce Wayne / Batman, or is it just me? He seems so stiff and bland.

  • @joshieboy15 I actually think Val was the best batman out of all of them...

  • @joshieboy15 Best Batman was Michael Keaton, hands down =D

  • for some reason i feel like eating cheetos, after watching this?

  • What is the song at 8:40

  • @cheesemuffin94

The Flaming Lips - Bad Days

  • Aww...Mah favorite cute little floppy ginger psychopath :)

  • The Riddler's not psycopathic.

  • its just 3-D

  • I love jim carrey, they sure picked a good one to play The Riddler^^

  • Terrific. Jim Carrey is the best.

  • The story between Bruce and 2face shouldn't been in this movie. Having 2face killing the circus freaks parents waz a good plot, and him becoming like BATMAN but different is a good story. Another thing in one of my sonic comics, it was back in 1993 or 1994, the thing that edward calls "the box". Well In the comic right before the movie came out it looks just like it. Wtf I think the director, should've put more thought and ideas into this movie before it came out. But that was years ago.

  • 4.If that happened back then. Maybe 2face would've killed his parents. But that didn't happen. So the only 2 gun shots he heard was from Jack.

5.Bruce has been batman for years and when that guy threw acid at harvey, BATMAN tried to save him like he tried to save Jack. but it was too late for both.

6.Acid in the face and being too late to be saved by BATBOY makes 2face.

7.Again and remember that 2face didn't kill his parents, Jack Naiper did.

  • Now we have a whole new ballgame of a story here in Batman Forever. Let's look at some things here.

1.In this story, we have 2face AKA twoface. I go with 2face.

2.Bruce mentioned in the story that he heard two gunshots in the night. He said 2face killed his parents.

3.That's highly impossible because in order for Harvey to look like 2face. He has to have that accident in court, the acid in face. Therefore we have 2face. Scenario scene.

  • All Bruce said was that the murder of the Grayson's at Two-Face's hand was just like his parents at the hands of Jack Napier.

  • BATMAN showed up and tried to save him. The only thing Jack remembered was that he blames BATMAN for dropping him into the chemical tank therefore turning him into the JOKER. BATMAN blames the JOKER which was Jack for killing Bruce's parents. Jack made BATMAN and BATMAN made JOKER.

  • The Last thing Jack remembered (from his point of view) was Batman dropping him in. It's debatable whether Batman deliberately let go. He still had all his previous memories.

  • Ahh one movie that got to my curoiusity back then...... Let's start back to then beginning. 1989 BATAM. You have bruce as a boy and his two parents, then Jack Naiper and his friend. Little brucy heard two shots fired and saw both his parents killed. Now we see Bruce wayne all growned up. And Jack too of course. There's a catch to this, in the chemical plant scene, jack was about to shoot until the bullet hit something and acid splattered his face. He was about to fall off the catwalk, until

  • I think Jack Napier's accomplice in the Wayne murders was the young Bob. The reason his face was damaged after he fired the shot was that Batman ended up, unintentionally reflecting the bullet back in his face.

  • CAFFINE will kill YAY

  • Carrey was fit for the Riddler during the 90's films.

Yet I would have loved to seen Nolan make Riddler into a darker sociopath killer. I guess it won't happen in the 3rd film.

  • @twobitgreaser3223 jim carrey >>>>>>> johnny depp

  • @twobitgreaser3223 already been confirmed from Nolan...no riddler Anne Hathaway will be catwoman and Thomas Hardy will play Bane

  • How the hell did i miss the flaming lips when i first watched this?!

  • LOL... "Nice form but lil rough on the landing... he may have to settle for the bronze" :D Did the writers come up with that??? I think Jim did :D

  • what song is at 8:35

  • In 7:40 he looks like Anikan Skywalker joining the dark side already.

  • Anakin Skywalker.

  • In 5:36, Edward's dance cracked me up. :D

  • E. Nygma- I like it. He could have used that as his villain name- Enigma.

  • Jim Carry as the Riddler was the craziest riddler like the Heath Ledger Joker

  • 5:28 I'm suckin up your cortex...

  • Anyone ever wondered as a kid how Edward Nygma stuck that big green envelope on Bruce Wayne's gate?

  • Song at 8:40?

  • @skywings613 Bad Days by The Flaming Lips :D

  • Caffeeeeeen 'll KILL YA!

  • Comment removed

  • So hang on, this means you have a version of the film somewhere, with all the problems fixed.

  • IIIIII'M SUCKIN' UP YOUR IQ! VACUUMING YOUR CORTEX! FEEDIN' OFF YOUR BRAIN! *dance dance dance*

  • @MusicOfTheNight0711 u forgot FRED !!!!!!

  • heres my list of batman villians and ive been watchin batman my whole 18 year life. so jack nicholson and heath ledger as joker tied for the best. sorry but i can't decide between the two. second place goes to jim carrey as riddler. tommy lee jones as two face. michelle pfeifer as catwoman. danny devito as penguin uma as poison ivy and arny as mr.freeze THUMS UP if you agree somewhat

  • I feel Ledger's Joker was good in terms of pure menace but Nicholson's one successfully blended a violent psycopathic streak with a wacky sense of humour. Devito's Penguin really took the character to all new menacing heights, so he's #2 or #3 behind the two previously mentioned Jokers. Then would be Uma Thurman's Poison Ivy (that was the most dark portrayal of the character as she was ruthless completely). Two Face, Riddler and Mr Freeze were portrayed sympathetically. Catwoman wasn't evil.

  • what are those green things called he has in the glass box ?

  • @si4106

They don't have a name they're just part of The Box.
