JoeC-the chuck in ska is on the upstrum, Reggae and Dub is on the down strum. Sounding authentic is more about technique, tone and feel. Not about skin color.

Nice job, but everyone needs to know that you are tuned down to Eflat. (which is fine:-)

But for people that want the official version in normal tuning it is in the key of D (2 sharps) and the chord progression is Bm, G, D

Awesome help man always been a blues player but this inspires me to get into some reggae! Your guitar sounds great by the way. What amp are you using are those stock pickups? What about guage string lol sorry but the tone sounds great for a clean 335
