Was Richard really shooting 230 grain 45 auto? His shots were so quiet, with no echo. I don't understand how that is possible, as the microphone was picking up wind and other peoples' shots.
@Blackfork6 Age limit in Texas is up to 6 months before 21st birthday. I will be taking my class next month and when my 21st comes around in December all I need to do is send in my application and fingerprints.
when i took mine i shot 149 out of 150 and really wasnt even trying!! really easy to past this test!!every stable person should have one to protect our gun rights!!
I think I would walk up to them when they have a bulge on, spit on their shoes, grab them by the collar and jerk them around while make a few comments about their mother and passing gas, then ask if you can hold their wallet and watch. If they don't shoot you, then I would evalute them as a little unstable for public consumption.
damn good video.. When me and my wife qualified She used a Ruger 9mm with a trigger job and that has had 10,000 rounds pumped through it.. The same one you get when becoming a instructor.I used a 45. M&P Smith fresh out the box. She beat me with a 235.. She brought the page home with her but somehow it got miss placed.. That week end we got out the ar-15 and went down to there river and set up a target. She learned the new definition of slicing the pie that day. She does'nt brag as much anymore.
Blackfork6.. When firing a double tap or controlled pair does it matter where you hit the target whether its in the head or in the middle of the target.. I guess my question is are there entry's that make the double tap or controlled pair performed correctly.. could you put one in the head and one in the middle of the target or do they both have to be in the same area. Thanks
Suppose you were concerned about the mental health of someone with a Texas CHL, and were worried that they might pose a public safety risk - how would you go about having them checked out?
I am happy to have found this video. I am considering getting my CHL and the more information I can get, the better. THANK YOU!!!!!!!

This guy shot a nice group. I shot 250/250 with my PT-145. My group wasn't as pretty as this though.

The written part is pretty easy...but its a mess of odd questions. They usually preview the test thoroughly.

The course of fire is pretty simple and it's not any kind of tactical training, more like a function test.
