This game would have been great if the steering wasn't so sticky. That is the reason I gotten rid of it back in 2002. Other than that, it wasn't a bad game at all.

and don't forget the Build Your car mode :) GT only allows you to customize cars changing the colours... pff -.-

this game was great, and the fact of the matter is, Dreamcast had Xtreme Tokyo Racer 2 and I rather play that then Gran Turismo!

I dont get why everyone claims this game sucks and is nothing special to gran turismo. This game kicked ass and I still play it. fuck gran turismo. This game had way more customization features.

Truth. I am playing it on my 360 now, hence, why I searched for videos of Sega GT 2002Online.
I wish Sega would make another for the 360...I love Forza and PGR, but Sega Gt was just so easy to pick ip and play...and having the little garage you could decorate with pictures of your cars and trophies was sweet.

The PC version woulda been fun to play but is plagued by graphical bugs and a very lousy control interface; when you select steering wheel, you can't even map a single button, when you choose joystick, it won't let you select the vertical axes for gas & brake and what, no cursor in the menus? I mean C'mon Sega programmers, if you can model a sexy Mazda RX 7 on this game beautifully, then it shouldn't be hard to make an applet to allow button configs for the wheel, bummers. >.>
