And this is why I re-enact. I want to keep their stories, memories and names alive! R.I.P to all of the soldiers that have died during ww2 1939-1945. You are all in my heart!
Very sad indeed. Please stop Palestinians become the next history. I dont understand after suffering so much pain and suffering, why Jews are killing poor Palestinians just as they were killed during the WW2.
its sad that in now day society, we take the wisdom and knowledge of past generations for granted. We should embrace these people, learn from them, pass on what they have been taught.
my grandfather was a pilot..his brother fought too..they'd roll over in thier graves if they seen what happened to the land they fought for.documentery? these poor people lived a nighmare how dare you make them relive it in words..all in the name of a project..
I agree. America isn't the same today. We've really digressed. And we didn't force any of these people to do these interviews. My Grandfather (the first man) talks about his experiences all the time and he was really honored that we asked him to be apart of this. Mrs. Slozcum has talked to many people about her experiences with the Holocaust before and Mrs. Prebble has also talked about her past. Mr. Stefanelli's daughter told us that he would like to be interviewed. I have to disagree with you.
I think we should get these people's stories before we lose them all. It's important to know what they've experienced if they are willing to tell and we can learn from their experiences.
I disagree. These people lived through extraordinary times, and I shouldn't doubt they think of the war every day. Imagine being 18 1/2 years old, leaving for work and never seeing your parents again. These are memories that are just a scratch beneath the scalp. It's important to have these stories on record, and it's important for these people to talk about their experiences. This is a noble project, and well appreciated. Thank you Dolfinz1991.
Thank you ibindermann! I'm glad that some viewers can appreciate the stories. I understand that for some it is hard to open up and I am eternally grateful to these four for sharing their stories. I should post their whole interviews, because like you said these small segments aren't even the beginning. Thank you so much again! I appreciate your lovely comment. :)
God Bless our Vets - and their families. Very well done, too many people take what they have for granted. But these people know what they have, and deserve the best. Watching these types of videos gives me the realization of how good I have it. Please, keep it up!
Thanks Zach1Sleds! I'm so happy you got the important message out of this video. I really wish we could've interviewed even more people because it's so important to get these people's stories before they're all gone. Thank you for the comment and have a Merry Christmas!

@alex3000us poor palastinias?
things are not what they seem in the media.
ask the same question about all the israelis who died over the years by "poor palastinians"
War is allways wrong but what you wrote is complitly not accurate.
look at the whole picture

I'm sorry I'm just now seeing this [didn't know how to see replies on comments], but you're welcome! :]
I wish I could sit down with any of our elders, especially veterans, but really anyone nice. We should all respect and learn from them, I do.
