@ Diehard88 Oh yes, that was deliberate. Metal Sonic suffers from a personal Identity Crisis. His last line is "I am the ultimate overlord, Metal Sonic... I am the REAL Sonic!" He has become mildly insane from the fact that he was built to destroy Sonic, but his ego will not allow him to be second rate to someone else, so he's madly rationalized that He is the real version, but his programming states that he is built specifically to destroy Sonic. Madness is the result.

Totally agree with you there. They need to go back to their roots when Sonic was about taking down robots, collecting rings and emeralds, and defeating Robotnik.

Every time they state a game has gone back to the roots, we suddenly see they stuck in a giant blue were-rug, or swords.

And the annoying thing is, you get the "New Generation" of fans who think this is totally fine, and think that anyone who disagrees sucks.

@Xeeynamo It's a bit off topic, but Amy actually is an original Sonic character. She was actually made before Knuckles was. If you look it up, her first appearance was in Sonic CD, which was released after Sonic 2, but before Sonic 3. It's a VERY good game, and it was also Metal Sonics first appearance.

This is a bit ignorant. To say bring back Sonic as it was before, then mention Shadow as an original character. Shadow was introduced in the 7th game in the series, the 2nd 3D game, after Sonic got his new model. Also, Amy was introduced in the 3rd game in the series, before 3D was even considered, even before Knuckles was a character! Yet you list her under the characters that aren't "sonic as it was before". Please at least do research before you pretend that you're an oldschool fan

It's been a long time since I played Sonic Heroes. The final boss fight is impressive looking and the music's okay, although the game play suck. It's slow paced and all I did was just fly around, dodging attakcs until I could use the super attack.
