the whales get fed. they get cared for. they receive first aid care. they have a safe place to sleep and rest. so,,, how is this wrong. they are not killing, hunting, or injuring the whales.
@mrsdancingqueen0 they pay for them from people who slaughter whales and also dolphins.... they support the captivity of creatures that deserve to live in the ocean which is more then 30 feet deep and is also cold and not warm and shallow

I hated the splash zone. i thought it would be fun, but it wasnt at all. I was all burned from the sun and the salt water got all oin me and all in my eyes. I had no water or towel. It failed.
@metridium you know, i had a dog named floppy when i was seven. i loved that dog to no end. the dog lived on for 28 years (my dad had floppy in his apartment before i was born and i knew the dog since i was a kid). obviously now i know that floppy wasn't amazingly healthy, but that dellusion was more conforting to me than despair. most people know the life span for an orca and know that shamu can't live for that long, but shamu was still kept alive.
My boyfriend and i were here few weeks ago, and guys, it was UNBELIAVABLE, ABSOLUTELY AWESOME, so one is for sure...ANYTHIG IS POSSIBLE IF YOU B E L I E V E !!!!Thank you my love for those precious moments spent with you! I will treasure it for the rest of my life!

It was 38yrs ago Corky was stolen from her mother and put on display. Please do not support marine parks, Orca are easy to keep track of, marine parks are worse for smaller dolphins, they are easier to replace unnoticed.
@BUGDUMMY seaworld corky (corky the second, btw...) had a much better life at seaworld than marineland, and they adopted her because they had better living conditions.

Just because Corky cannot reproduce, doesn't mean she is abused, or the bullshit BUGDUMMY claims. Her reproductive organs were never right in the first place. ALL Of her calves died of brain diseases, which can also happen to wild Orcas.
does Seaworld talk about how many calfs have died. Corky has lost seven babies, she still has no living calf. Two other whales are so aggressive they are not allowed in with people or the other whales. Does not sound like a happy place to me.

Seaworld does not accurately represent orcas being orcas.
