@doggiekitz123 I think this is the part you mentioned--Tohru has seen Kyo's other form, & goes to Akito because she still wants to live in Shigure's house, and Akito loses it at her. That part would be the very enraged Akito yelling at Tohru & pulling her hair while Yuki & Hatori try to stop him.
This is a great video! Well done! I love Fruits Basket, and this video fits it well... even though it is sad. And anyone who hasn't done so should read the manga. It's amazing! There's more to the story!
It seems like the only ones that was not directly hurt by Akito was Shigure, Ayame, Kagura, Momiji, Hiro, Ritsu, Hatsuharu and Kureno. Yuki was tormented, Kisa was hit, Hatori got blinded, and Isuzu got pushed out the window. Momiji, Hiro and Kureno were caught in crossfires though. It seems Akito just mostly picks on a few..... I guess where Akito is a girl.... she is jelous of the female Zodiac, or any female that gets close?

I mean, look at what she did to Tohru in the manga too. She hurt Hatori because he wanted to be with Kana... She was abused in the same way as Yuki, but because her personality is different and because her father told her she was God, she became violent and Yuki just withdrew more under his closed lid. It doesn't make violence okay, but I do think she is a human being, and the mistake that made her so violent wasn't HER mistake. t was her father and mother's fault. I'm sorry if this is a spoiler, but Akito's father died. Akito has been twisted terribly, but by the end of the manga she really becomes a better person. I also say it was her father's fault for saying she was "God." Besides the fact that that made her feel superior, her mother also abused her with her words. Akito could have been a kind "God," but for her mother. And she could have just befriended them all with no difficulty but for her father.

For me, the saddest stories are that of Isuzu, Yuki, Kyo, and then it's a tie between Kisa & Momiji. Isuzu and Yuki were the two worst for me because they dealt with physical abuse . . . . i've never been through that but it makes me cry because my best friend used to get beaten by her mom. (She's happy and healthy now!)
I agree! Kisa's story is fairly bad, but with her friends and family she was able to overcome it, but poor Momiji! How can you overcome your mother rejecting you like that and choosing to forget you, truly tragic! I suppose that story didn't actually have much screen time (footage) though. Good song choice by the way. Fits in well.
Poor Akitosama has never known a good woman. Her mother hates her, and Akitosama was forced to pretend to be a man. Any woman she sees appears to be 'taking her men away' aka Tohru taking Yuki and Kyo's attention, Kana taking Hatori's attention... as God of the Jyuunishi, she needed control, and the many times she felt she was losing control of any of the zodiac, it was because of a woman. ^__^

In the anime it was made before Akito's gender was revealed in the manga so the creators assumed she was male. In Japanese, they don't usually say 'he', 'she', and it's only pronouns when referring to oneself that remotely have gender, and Akito's speech is male 'boku' and 'ore', which is because her mother made her act as a boy so brought her up to use male pronouns. So yes, in a sense, you're right. Akitosama is male IN THE ANIME. Please stop arguing people ^^;
It's true that all their stories are sad but Kisa, Kyo, Yuki, and Hatsori lost more than just hope but their trust, trust in themselves and in others. They try to hide it but their pain is unbearable that it controls their lives. So yeah I believe their stories are the saddest of sad stories.

What I've realized is that... and I won't give too much away for those who don't know about the lastest manga's secrets, (#17) But Akito-san's story isn't too happy either. And I can kinda understand why he's so cruel, I just wish he wasn't. Y_Y But I do feel bad for him. And if anybody catches a mistake in this little comment... great job on the editing here. near the end it got a bit off timing, i think, but overall it was great. i loved the slow parts with the snow.... i couldn't even decide on the saddest part of the story...
I really like this, but I dunno if I'd pick those four in particular. They all have such difficult stories behind them, but I agree with Yuki and Kyo in the top four.
I would have picked Hatori, Kisa, Kyo, and Momiji because his mom hated him and never embraced him as a child and his sister doesnt even know who he is and he can't be with his parents because his mom hates him for being a member of the jyuunishii
You probably saw this thousands of times already, but Momiji's isn't all cherries and lollipops. Neither is Tohru's, because her's is sad too. At least, certain parts to it. Hatori's is pretty depressing as well, I remember I cried. @_@

They beginning was almost flawless... but the ending to middle was a little muddled, especially Kyo's section.
It seemed a little sloppy...
I think you could have done a better job on that to make it even more dramatic towards the end.

great vid and all but Momiji should have totally been here. he has a super sad story to! i mean his freakin so called mother hated him and completely rejected him. now he has to live his life watching her from afar while she has no clue who he is anymore. he even has a younger sister who doesn't even know they're related. it's makes cry just thinking about it. i cry whenever i watch the episode that explains it all. anyways i believe i have made my point. thanks.

What I've realized is that... and I won't give too much away for those who don't know about the lastest manga's secrets, (#17) But Akito-san's story isn't too happy either. And I can kinda understand why he's so cruel, I just wish he wasn't. Y_Y But I do feel bad for him. And if anybody catches a mistake in this little comment... DON'T spoil it by writing my mistake, I did that purposly to NOT GIVE it away. ^_^ Great vid though. Makes me wanna cry.

great job on the editing here. near the end it got a bit off timing, i think, but overall it was great. i loved the slow parts with the snow.... i couldn't even decide on the saddest part of the story...

I really like this, but I dunno if I'd pick those four in particular. They all have such difficult stories behind them, but I agree with Yuki and Kyo in the top four.

I would have picked Hatori, Kisa, Kyo, and Momiji because his mom hated him and never embraced him as a child and his sister doesnt even know who he is and he can't be with his parents because his mom hates him for being a member of the jyuunishii

You probably saw this thousands of times already, but Momiji's isn't all cherries and lollipops. Neither is Tohru's, because her's is sad too. At least, certain parts to it. Hatori's is pretty depressing as well, I remember I cried. @_@
Kyo's is pretty much horrible as well. Yuki's...well, >O Geez, I feel bad for the whole cast. Rin's..@_@
