damn every time i see this, i think about those country who bought f35, why european can't do a single massive very hight tech aircraft with saab, finimecca, thales, dassault BAE etc...
@bingofioul Because Rafale will eat for breakfast any V of 35 Joint Strike(people read something about Fighter plains, for ex, read what Peter Goon from Australia wrote(or Dr Carlo Cop) about F35..and than you will know way Rafale is Rafale or Typhoon is.. and JSF35 is no flaying brick.)
@Tome4kkkk My 'aviation' playlist is full now. Now I'm filling up my 'aviation 2' playlist. So it's almost 300 of selected, interesting vids I would piss myself if I have had seen them 15 years ago ;D
@wrght9185 The answer is simple.They evaluated that canards are not worth it in case of their airframes to go for extra mass,drag and mechanization.They evaluated that traditional empennage is enough and F-22 proves it on every occasion during air shows. Note that canards are usually used on aircrafts with delta wings which are inherently of lower efficiency (Rafale, Typhoon, Gripen) and US fighters don't use delta wings. F-22 wing is not a delta configuration, at least in the classical meaning.
FsxCaptain has a bloody cheek - he stole English, my very language! Get your own if want to spout offensive comments on the web. Gripen, Typhoon, Delta, all good jets. The UK and France pioneered the delta wing anyway - Concorde, the Vulcan, etc.
The ones who makes the eurofighter has stolen the design from the Jas 39 Gripen because its such a nice plane. The nosewing idea was from Sweden and now the are stealing it. Fucking idiots who cant produce their own shit
The canard (not nosewing you moron) wings are a US design first used in unstable fly by wire prototypes from the NASA such as the X-29. If you dont know your sh.. then sh.. up!

what about tornado, blackburn buccaneer, lightning, alpha jet, hawk, aermacchi, etendard, jaguar, harrier???
95predator 2 years ago
2:16 is that a saab Gripen ? I don't think so... It really looks like a French Super Etendard fighter... not mentioned in the video description.
Y'a pas du Super Etendard là dedans par hasard ???
DaGStormy 2 years ago
@DaGStormy
Yes 2:16 = Saab JAS-39 Gripen!
The best aircraft in the hungarian air force!

No, that's not a Gripen, the Gripen first arrives at 2:28 in this film.
wellerocks 2 years ago
Na, we don't talk about the same aircraft, 2:16 is a Super Etendard, then we can see the Saab.
