All you do is continuous jumping and throw a couple of strikes to kill an enemy. Plus theres way too much talking that they do in the game. And only one sword and with a couple of different moves? No wonder why its only $10 used. And the guy in this video is obviously sugarcoating the whole thing. This game is pretty friggin boring if you ask me.

" have better and bigger levels or area's plus the fighting is so much fun in here it's more action and balanced! in TFS it dose shows like 30 ~ 40 enemy in one screen but it's way too easy to finish them off and actually i found the fighting in the forgotten sands boring.

It wasn't meant to be like Sands of Time (Which, when I played it on Gamecube was one of my fondest game experiences ever). I also enjoyed Forgotten Sands (I feel the Wii version was best). But that also, was different and fun. Sands of Time doesn't have to be repeated. If I want to play that? I play it.

I'm not gonna hate on this game, but I personally think that the original Prince of Persia games had the best puzzles I've ever played in any video game so far. And I also think that the original story just had such a magical charm and depth. Like I said, I'm not hating on the new Prince, but it would be nice to see a video game franchise stick to it's originality instead of changing into something completely out of the blue. But I do like the artsy look to the new Prince.

This is probably the worst game I've ever played. It has terrible combat and gameplay, no plot, and the "puzzles" are just annoying, and the soundtrack is mostly bad. As for the characters, the Prince is an asshole with an annoying voice and no fashion sense, and the Princess has very little personality apart from a few brief scenes, and is mostly just there to make sure you never, ever die. It's just a bland, generic platformer. If it were the first PoP game, I'd never think of buying another.

I find this game's puzzles harder than the SoT trilogy's, but I have been able to solve them all without help, unlike the last puzzle in SoT (the one with dozens of doors) which I never completed without help.
Aside from this, I love this game a lot more than the other versions. I love the scenery, design, soundtrack, combat, exploration sequences and the plot.
that depends on what types of games you like if you like GOW then you will like assasains creed but if you like resident evil and other shooting games you wont like assasains creed becasue its just too much. It has a complex comspearacy, but you dont care much for it. Over all its a nice game that will tug you in, but at the end of the day after you play a hour of it you feel somewhat disapointed. the climbing is sometimes too hard and does not go as nice as you always want too be. so its ok.
this game was decent. its not as good as the sands of time trilogy but still worth paying 20 bucks for. the acrobatics are awesome. the only complaint i had was there was no combat except the bosses, which you fight like 4 times a piece. but if you loved the aerial moves from the first one this has plenty of them. its worth checking out

While I did enjoy this game but I think I would have preferred if Elika saving you was a button-triggered action, as was the dagger in SoT. Kinda like the dagger but with boobs. I'm all for simple controls but I do like a little challenge
I'm waiting for the sequel, the new trilogy will be good, despite what hardcore gamers think. Most people got the game because it said PoP on it (me too), I played the SoT trilogy, and I still like it a little more than this game. Ubi should release SoT Trilogy on one Blu-Ray, three games on one disc, trophy support and enchanced graphics included.

I don't get why this game gets such good reviews. It's not bad, but it's pretty mediocre. The gameplay gets old very quickly, and having to collect those light things is just incredibly boring.
I figured it out. If anyone can remember the very first PoP, it was a hard mutha. The hardest one actually.
The oldschool PoPs generally attracted hardcore gamers, and we loved their difficulty. Difficulty adds to the sense of accomplishment. It's a brave move by Ubisoft to change, but doomed to failure especially on xbox360 and ps3. These consoles are mainly for hardcore gamers.
I hope this trend comes to an end because it's clearly damaging the PoP franchise. Sry 4 hate last post

Well I think I can sum in a way for you, you see, the old school games tend to not like see things they are familier with change just look at mario they treat it like jesus. there are some of them that for some reason don't like their familier characters to be devloping human like emotions other than bland as Master Chife and emo as Cloud Strife. POP 360 however, isn't even worthy of the same name, i say that because, though it looks really neat, its the worst waste of money i have ever spent, and i like most EVERY game, hell i even like bad games, but this one was just heart wrenching, gut churningly bad.

The concept art and graphics are really great for this game. Though, reinventing it for a younger audience was imo a mistake. Especially when the game play was so good on the sands of time series. Why change something that works. Only thing I can think of is aiming for a younger audience to make more money, which is depressing.
I gave up on the game after too long. Seems almost like a policy these days to justify poor gameplay with great graphics.
Warrior within is the best. The dark atmoshpere, being chased by the dahaka, gamplay, story. The two thrones took a step in the wrong direction in my opinion, especially with the sneak kills. Took away the fun of fighting.

yeah sands of time is the hardest, even though its the first one, because the enemies revive if you don't absorb them with the dagger.
however it is also why i dislike the first game because often, a huge mob immediately crowds around and protects the enemies that are down so you can't absorb them -_-. Sometimes i end of killing the same guy 3 times...

i havent played PoP in a long time so dont judge me....
TSOT was.... hard.... i havent played it since i was about 10 but when i did i found it incredibly hard.
This new version is prty fun to play the dialouge keeps me entertained and its not very hard at all.
i give it a 3/5

this game was decent. its not as good as the sands of time trilogy but still worth paying 20 bucks for. the acrobatics are awesome. the only complaint i had was there was no combat except the bosses, which you fight like 4 times a piece. but if you loved the aerial moves from the first one this has plenty of them. its worth checking out

This game is one of the shittiest games I have ever played.
It's all about running around picking up stupid light orbs and gets repetitive and boring quickly.
The story line... umm.. what story line? It didn't make sense at all.
Then we have the accent... wtf does the Prince of Persia sound like he is from Los Angeles? Really was it that hard to make it actually sound like an exotic persian accent?

This game's alright.
I'm a hardcore gamer,especially when it comes to Prince Of Persia.
Although,this game is sort of a let down,it's not all the way down there,but somewhere in the middle,Prince Of Persia: Sands of Time was where it was at,you could lose,and it was really challenging,with the shift movements and button smashing. Was expecting more,
Hopefully,if there is a sequel,it'll be more challenging.

While I did enjoy this game but I think I would have preferred if Elika saving you was a button-triggered action, as was the dagger in SoT. Kinda like the dagger but with boobs. I'm all for simple controls but I do like a little challenge

I'm waiting for the sequel, the new trilogy will be good, despite what hardcore gamers think. Most people got the game because it said PoP on it (me too), I played the SoT trilogy, and I still like it a little more than this game. Ubi should release SoT Trilogy on one Blu-Ray, three games on one disc, trophy support and enchanced graphics included.
I'd buy it... twice.

this game was utter shit!! it's not just 'pretty hard to do you're self in' as the guy puts it, its fuckin impossible 2 die in this game!! wats the fucking point if u no from the set out that u will survive the next combat or next wall run? when i fought the warrior at 1 point i went 2 get some food and just left the game running, this is a game when u can leave the game running whilst fighting a boss and u dont even get hurt. utter shit!!!

I don't get why this game gets such good reviews. It's not bad, but it's pretty mediocre. The gameplay gets old very quickly, and having to collect those light things is just incredibly boring.

I figured it out. If anyone can remember the very first PoP, it was a hard mutha. The hardest one actually.
The oldschool PoPs generally attracted hardcore gamers, and we loved their difficulty. Difficulty adds to the sense of accomplishment. It's a brave move by Ubisoft to change, but doomed to failure especially on xbox360 and ps3. These consoles are mainly for hardcore gamers.
I hope this trend comes to an end because it's clearly damaging the PoP franchise. Sry 4 hate last post

Ya know what? Fuck it. I refuse to play PoP until a title with the name "Prince of Persia: Warrior Within 2" is released.
Ubisoft is so blind to gamer appeal it's almost as bad as Nintendo not putting Starfox back in the Arwing.
The single most important aspect of any game is the gameplay. We don't need pretty pixellated pussy to fap to.
WWs style should not have been abandoned. PoP could be epic.

Well I think I can sum in a way for you, you see, the old school games tend to not like see things they are familier with change just look at mario they treat it like jesus. there are some of them that for some reason don't like their familier characters to be devloping human like emotions other than bland as Master Chife and emo as Cloud Strife. But change can be a good thing EX: ultimate spider man not having the clone saga

POP 360 however, isn't even worthy of the same name, i say that because, though it looks really neat, its the worst waste of money i have ever spent, and i like most EVERY game, hell i even like bad games, but this one was just heart wrenching, gut churningly bad.
All this had to its name was a fantastic art style, and the premise of something slightly good, but they screwed it up.

The concept art and graphics are really great for this game. Though, reinventing it for a younger audience was imo a mistake. Especially when the game play was so good on the sands of time series. Why change something that works. Only thing I can think of is aiming for a younger audience to make more money, which is depressing.
I gave up on the game after too long. Seems almost like a policy these days to justify poor gameplay with great graphics.

Warrior within is the best. The dark atmoshpere, being chased by the dahaka, gamplay, story. The two thrones took a step in the wrong direction in my opinion, especially with the sneak kills. Took away the fun of fighting.

yeah sands of time is the hardest, even though its the first one, because the enemies revive if you don't absorb them with the dagger.
however it is also why i dislike the first game because often, a huge mob immediately crowds around and protects the enemies that are down so you can't absorb them -_-. Sometimes i end of killing the same guy 3 times...
