I just bought these slip-ons for my Fz6-N. How easy is it to remove the dbkillers?

@RavenRof is extremely easy to remove dbkiller. simply remove one screw at the end of the cone and remove it by pulling the inner tube. he has nothing more to hold. ah, very good buy;-) (I also recommend the suppressor of catalyst)

@kukiliniflor Awesome. I just went to the mechanic and see how my bike is doing. Still a work in progress but the paint job is done, and the exhaust have arrived. Its a matter of building the bike again ;) Maybe ill post a video later.

@juanchitu83 yes. The engine turns and sounds perfectly. When the dbkiller does not use, the slow motion sounds this way, but it is totally normal.

@kukiliniflor my fz idles wavy like that with no dbkillers but is very smooth with them in... a little backpressure is never a bad thing when it comes to haveing a healthy motor

@danthemanzizzle currently use the bike dbkiller. the motor runs perfect (the sound) but the sound of exhaust is different ;-)

also used a kn filter and catalyst suppressor.

@5trob3 it depends on the legislation of each country. in Spain it is not possible to be circulated around the public thoroughfare without dbkiller, but very it is not persecuted either. greetings

Supongo que tu los tienes sin catalizador, con el supresor y sin los db killer, como yo, el sonido me tiene enamorado, lo unico malo es el tema del ralenti, pero es una pasada, parece otra moto y la gente se gira...jejeje. Bueno, entonces veo ke lo del ratoneo del ralenti es normal, gracias por la ayuda.

Al final me los pillé y estoy encantado con el sonido y como va la moto. La verdad es que envenenan un poco, cuanto más abres, mejor suenan y... acabas yendo más deprisa de lo debido. Sin los "tapones" son un poco escandalosos, pero suenan increiblemente bien. Gracias a tu video y comentario me decidí a ponerlos y no me arrepiento para nada. Puse los carbono tambien. Saludos!

Una pregunta, acabo de pillarme los mismos escapes que tu (la ostia!!!) pero he notado que al ralenti parece que se va a calar y se mueve la aguja bastante, es como dices inestable, tiene solucion?. Los llevo sin db killer, será cosa de no llevar catalizador?

Aparte de eso todo perfecto pero cuando estoy parado en un semaforo el ralenti es...nosé, raro, se mueve mucho, supongo ke sabes a lo ke me refiero, parece una harley, jeje.

no es problema por el ralentí. teóricamente se estabilizaría montando un power comander pero si no es así no implica que sea un problema. (en cuanto pueda se lo montaré pero por qué tiene muchos otros beneficios jjjj)

Tienes puesto el supresor del catalizador?

no. está quitado. hay uno intermedio después de los colectores y después la petaca final que también hace de catalizador. también están montados sin los dbkiller.

Dicen que mejora la respuesta en bajos y medios. Tambien que el bache a 6000 rpm desaparece, aunque luego arriba del todo pierde algo. Tengo una igual a la tuya y quiero poner los mismos que tu tienes, que tal van?

van de muerte. el ralentí en frio algo inestable pero después ok. ahora los llevo con los dbkillers por qué en uso a diario suena demasiado a bajo régimen. el "bache" está pero quizá algo más suavizado.
