Sorry for that bad question. Are the bass strings the same on a guitar. I mean, if I can play all the scales on a guitar I can play it on a bass, I just leave the two strings?
yeah you can play all the guitar scales pretty much the same way on a bass (except for the higher notes you need to move up the fretboard). however, it's not as easy as it looks. in the beginning you'll feel that the strings are really hard to press, and that you have to stretch your hand quite alot on the lower frets.
yeah Earnie ball music man stingray amaxing guitars but you can only get one tone from it which is why i prefer a fender jazz bass and they are cheaper

yup..its the same.. its tuned the same EADGbe for guitar and EADG for bass..its theoritically the same..
