Oh man, I remember how New Kids on the Block were the NSYNC/Backstreet Boys of the early 1990s. My cousin (who is in her late 20s/early 30s) got NKOTB stuff for Christmas in a home movie of Christmas of 1990.

I remember this commercial very well. This commercial aired on WPHL-TV, PHL-17 sometime in late 1990 or early 1991. I don't know what ever became of former Q-102 personality Dirty Diana, but I do know that Chris Jagger would later move on to host the dating game show series, "Change of Heart", which aired ironically on WPHL-TV in the late 1990's. WPHL-TV is now a My Network TV affiliate, and is now known as My PHL 17. Q-102 is still a Top 40 station to this day.
