This guy doesn't even know what he's talking about and keeps on making excuses. Jesus clearly says from that verse that there is someone 'GREATER' than him. The people who don't get this are either plain ignorant or dumb.
@ExtremeEnergyForc SIR, the verses Sam is explaining have to do with relationship in spirit of holiness and in unction of truth. Since islam does not have a personal relationship with the allah, but a slave mentality then this is foreign to you. Sam does know what he is talking about but you do not know what Sam is talking about because the spirit of islam has blinded your spirit. If you really desire to love God? read the gospels and allow Jesus words to sink in your heart-Jesus's words eternal
@danielefsot Not funny mate and don't forget Jesus was not his real name and Jesus of the Bible is exactly the same as what Islam teaches that he's a prophet and a messenger of God and also the messiah.
@danielefsot Dumb Fool "Mate" as an expression and no I am not a Christian but us Muslims are more Christian than you Christians are yourselves. We have beards just like Jesus did. We don't eat pork, drink alcohol, pray and wash like Jesus, circumcised and also fast like Jesus and much more old man :)
Now I understnd no one wants to debate sam. ...! what kind of explaination is this, Sam we are in 2012, you just can't carry on fooling your self... offcourse God is greater than all, even greater than jesus, muhammed and
Only Jesus accepted the worship of others Matthew 8:2. Only God Almighty is entitled to receive worship. The Bible teaches that God will NOT share His glory with another (Isaiah 42:8). If Jesus weren't Almighty God, then He couldn't have received the worship of so many people (Matthew 9:18;14:33;15:25;18:26;20:20;28:9). Jesus gladly received worship from people, as God Almighty is entitled to.
corrupt Bible versions remove every mention of the word “worship” concerning Jesus Christ, changing
1st Timothy 3:16 God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
John 1:1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:14, “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us
Mark 2:7 Who can forgive sins but God only. Jesus forgave sins.
BTW Jesus never claimed divinity.... I wonder what are u trying to prove here bcz everything ur saying is useless bcz he never claimed divinity to begin with.... Stop lying to yourselves... and accept the truth thats better for u all.
"Thou shalt not make thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that in the earth beneath, or that is in the water beneath the earth."
"Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them; for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God."
Old Testament condemns idol worship in the following verses:
"Thou shalt have no other gods before me."
"Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:"
Christ was talking in the context of ask me and I will do it meaning he was given authority by the Father to answer calls to action by those who had put their faith in his name (Jesus) since this is the name given under heaven to have authority over all. Jesus never says glorify me and if he had any glory his glory is not as God or part of a trinitarian being but as savior. there somewhere in the scriptures Jesus tells you in time he will return all power and glory he may have to the father.

what a joke this video is. Trinity believers will stop at nothing to twist the scritpures to prove their false 3 person shareing an office God belief.
You can fool some people some time, but you can fool all the people all the time SAm, people are now thinking for themselves, you are reading English and interpreting Geberish.
The word is μείζων although going to Greek isn't necessary at all. Now they can go out and educate themselves. They'll discover that they are having trouble with their ignorance and not with the verse or what it says.
@Acts17Apologetics Trinitarian's are a stumbling block for Muslims. They fight and try to prove something that's not even in the bible.I'm a Christian but I saw the lie of trinity. Jesus is the Lord, the Christ, the Son of God not God. It's very clear how foolish this invented trinity doctrine is. Just think about the simple fact all the new testament writers left us hanging and did not tell the most important Q. whether Jesus was God.,But they did tell us clear He was the Christ not God.
@dandom01 When you deny Jesus divinity you deny the Father and you are in the same boat with the muslims. If Jesus is a man then he can not be the Christ as the responsibility man's salvation is simply too great for just a man to shoulder. Jesus is with God and Holy spirit, in trinity and in unison during creation, when they go down to confuse the language of Nimrod, when they visit Abraham and Sodom destruction, etc. There are many verses in the Bible which clearly show God is one in trinity.
Sura (8:12) - "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them" sounds like the teachings of satan.. muslim brothers and sister please Jesus Christ is the ONLY way
@paramebolas My belief is ancient the Watchtower and Trinitarians are new [agers]. Consult 1 Thessalonians 1:9-10, Acts 3:13, and John 17:3. The only person who is the true God, the God of Abraham Isaac and Jaob is the Father.
you r funnysam .guys who understood this made up subject god the father son essence .he is going to the father. He will keep my word and my father will love him and we father and I will come to him and make our home with him.Now he talks to father but to himself I have a headache ....this is that tht is this tangle tangle whats this Iam going to the father
its ok keep talking and dig your own grave you will perish I swear you are talking rubbis.I try to be unbaised to get what you say still its stupid like your trinity idea.Any reasonable person will know you dont know wht you are saying .All waht you re saying doesnt answer The father is greater than I blab blab oh my god really mony talks ....
Jesus can die! since Jesus = father (with respect to power) then Jews can also kill the father, the same person who created this earth...! wow! it makes a lot of sense.
what jesus meant to say was this what jesus meant to say was that contradict, contradict, contradict Book of Deuteronomy ,mark, matthew, luke, john, timothy, genesis, joshua, isaiah, jeremiah, samuel, psalms, chronicles, old testament, new testament and MANY MANY MORE CONTRADICTIONS HOW SHOULD 1 CAN EVEN BELIEVE IN BIBLE NOW GOD KNOWS HOW MUCH OF REAL TEACHINGS OF JESUS (P.B.U.H) ARE LEFT IN THESE BOOKS NOW
@never1234567890 this is very rich coming from a religion where corruption, burning editing and iventing dualistic contradictory verses is the norm.
UTHMON BURNED ALL THE MILLIONS OF PREVIOUS QURANS AND HAD SOMEONE WRITE AND COLLECT A QURAN WHICH HE EDITED TO SUIT HIS AGENDA. HE OMMITTED ALOT OF SURAHS FROM QURAN ETC. HOW CAN U CALL THAT GABBAGE A BOOK FROM GOD??/
IS THE QURAN CLEAR ENOUGH FOR HUMANS TO UNDERSTAND?
YES ;
Alif Lam Ra. (AS CLEAR AS QURAN IS AM YET TO HEAR ONE MEANING OF ALIF LA MIN FROM A MUSLIM) A Book whose verses are set clear, and then distinguished, from One All-wise, All-aware: S. 11:1
NO IT IS NOT ONLY ALLAH CAN READ IT AND UNDERSTAND IT
...........which is not entirely clear thereof..........but none knows its hidden meanings save Allah. S. 3:7
@theonecom no...the bible borrowed from the torah....did you ever open a quran up and read it....and also how many different versions of the bible (Gods Word) have you read
Can anyone answer "top 10 reasons why Trinity is not valid" by Dr Lawrence? If basis of Christian belief cant be proven then how it's possible to believe in bible?
PLEASE NOTE Dr Lawrence gives refrences from Church research itself.
The following statement from the Bible supports the Islamic belief that Jesus (pbuh) was a prophet of God.
"Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know."
@Mancunian786 The problem with this is that the Koran is terribly inconsistent and contradictory to the biblical accounts of Christ's life. Most of the accounts in the Koran regarding Jesus can actually be traced back to pre-Islamic sources, which mostly consist of apocrypha written between the 2nd-3rd centuries by heretical groups such as the Gnostics (i.e. Infancy Gospel of St. Thomas). So you cited Acts 2:22. What about Isaiah 7:14, John 14:6, Col. 2:9, etc.?
it is the bible thats contains many errors and contradictions and the bible has been changed by human hands. the bible has may versions, which is the right one?
There is only one quran and for the past 1400 years it has never been tampered with, nor will it ever be.
we muslims believe in jesus as a messenger of GOD. but hes is not GOD!
nowhere in the bible does jesus christ say 'iam GOD, worship me'
@Mancunian786 I've already given you one source. Other errors include mixing up accounts between Moses and Jacob, that Moses and Noah lived at the same time, that Mary gave birth under a palm tree, that Zacharias was silenced for only 3 days (should be 9 months), that Jews worship Ezrah as the Son of God (which they don't), etc. Your biblical corruption allegations are nothing more than Ibn Khazem's faulty speculations in A.D. 1064, who saw the contradictions b/w the Bible and the Koran.
it is clerly mentioned in the book of acts that jesus is a man, sent from GOD.
Jesus (pbuh) of Nazareth – a Man Approved of God
The following statement from the Bible supports the Islamic belief that Jesus (pbuh) was a prophet of God.
"Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know."
@CHRISTIANABUSED What Bible are they reading? Read the entire 14th chapter of the Gospel According to St. John, if not the entire New Testament. Also study the Old Testament. It prefigures and prophecies everything fulfilled by Christ. Purchase an Orthodox Study Bible from Amazon.com. It's worth every penny.
I've got another idea your a bunch of idiots fighting over what book in a made of trilogy is right, there not life is not simple its sucks, there is no paradise, there's no justice (other than courts), your going to bring up your kids to think the same thing so the endless cycle of stupid won't end, why don't you get over these storys and suck it!
I think that the reason why Jesus said "the Father is Greater than I", is because, when he said that, it was during the time he was "made a little lower than the angels".
Excellent little sermon. The Godhead..Trinity etc. is perhaps the most difficult thing even for Christians to wrap their minds around. In my simple-minded way I tell myself, I can be 3 things too. My conscious...my subconcious....and my physical self. Its my way of first taking baby steps to understanding scripture
The Holy Bible is itself a miracle that makes any thinking man crumble with humility.
@tonysshadow Think of the Trinity as a fire. A fire consists of a flame, light, and heat. The Father is the flame, the Son is the light that is co-equal with the flame and reveals it through its energy, and the Holy Spirit is the heat that proceeds from the flame. All three components exist at once, not separately.
@Danielezerable Not at all. If the Word becomes Incarnate, thus the Son, he takes upon our fallen nature to renew it (Isiah 53). Therefore, He must step into the lowest depths of our fallen nature: death itself. He died in his humanity, but raises us by His divinity. Death holds mankind captive, but not God. When Christ fell into the depths of Hell, God became present where He isn't present, thus destroying the bonds of death and creating salvation through Grace. Want to read a good book?
@ManOnFia Okay, first off, I just want to say that I have read the early church's works on this verse and they interpreted it to mean Yahushua is the subordinate servant-Son of God. It's almost like saying that the one ordering the task was at one point not higher in rank. Ridiculous, right? Right? Second off, YOU used a fire analogy. By all scientific laws my friend, the light of the fire cannot die unless the fire dies. Yahushua and His Father are NOT co-equal.
@Danielezerable Whose writings? That doesn't sound right, especially since Christ claimed to be co-equal to the Father on several occasions (i.e. John 10:30). You've taken my analogy too literally. Read Genesis 1:1-3. This reveals that the One God has Word and Spirit, as well as many other passages in the Old Testament. I invite you to read The Life: The Orthodox Doctrine of Salvation by Clark Carlton, a truly wonderful and inspiring study. It puts everything into perspective.
@ManOnFia Genesis 1:1-3 reveals the Holy Spirit is truly indeed as so many other Bible passages suggest the Spirit of God and the Spirit of Christ. Elohim in this case can actually bring out majesty. According to Clarke's commentary on John 14:28 - Origen, Jerome, Novatian, and Vigilius, who read the text thus: The Father, ὁ πεμψας, who sent me, is greater than I. 1 Cor. 11:3 confirms God is superior to His Son. Further, John 17:22 denies your claim on John 10:30. What Yahushua says is anti-Tri
@Danielezerable Regarding John 17:22, Jesus usually spoke in terms of His humanity. Notice though how He says "...that they be one as We are One." Not only is Christ once again proclaiming that He is equal to the Father, He is talking about His Church. He already told his disciples about the gift of the Holy Spirit in chapter 16, and He is further confirming the reality of the salvation in union with Him through the Church. 1 Cor. 11:3 is talking about the conduct of women. Relevance?
@ManOnFia Sorry bro but Clarke's commentary as well as the NLT have Yahushua Messiah-King referring from both human and divine nature. We almost got a copycat Yahushua around when the Son of God is speaking saying things like "that was just my flesh speaking" or something like that. I will politely disagree with you and hopefully you can see the truth that is the Son is the subordinate servant-Son of God. Phil. 2:9 I do believe states Yahushua is GIVEN the name not already had the name.
@Danielezerable From what I gather, you accept that Christ is merely a prophet, or some sort of super-being given the mission to do God's work on Earth. Do you consider yourself a Christian? Be open minded at least and read the catechism I recommended. There's no harm in it. You will discover from it that if Christ isn't God, then there is no salvation. Christ came into the world to renew man's fallen nature bring mankind into union with God through Himself (i.e. Sacraments). Big topic.
@ManOnFia Would a Muslim say Jesus is God's Son? Also, you said He sometimes refers to self in human nature. Are you saying that since half of what He said, it was from His human nature that some of His words should actually be done away with? Are you a Catholic out of curiosity? You should know that I believe the Pope to be the Devil's best man. If I were you, I'd listen to Jesus and repent of your idolatry.
@Danielezerable How dare you accuse me of idolatry. And no, I'm an Orthodox Christian. I was baptized into the One True Church (est. A.D. 33). I rebuke you by calling you to repent of your heresy: claiming that Christ, the Incarnate Word, is not of one essence with the Father. If Christ isn't God, then there is no salvation for us. For He took upon our fallen nature and renews it by the shedding of His blood (New Covenant), grace through the the Church, etc. Read the book!
@Danielezerable You said that you don't want to read the writings of the saints concerning who Christ is because you say that they wrote too late in the game for their theology to be legitimate. But the derive their argument from Scripture. Therefore, they effectively argue that Christ is divine from what the Bible says! You therefore have to be open-minded and evaluate their argument.
@ManOnFia Um...no I do not because the early church is actually going to be far better in knowledge than anything. Explain how a Father can be the same age as His Son. Also, explain Proverbs 8:22 where it clearly shows there was a time when Son was not. I don't take authority from books. Only Christ and Jesus says His Father is greater than He. Further, I never once said Christ was not divine.
@Danielezerable Orthodoxy is the early Church! It is the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church established by Christ through His Apostles in A.D. 33. So you must read our sources if you trust in the early Church. I sent a link to your inbox about Proverbs 8:22. Your argument is all over the place. You say Christ isn't God, but He's divine, that you call yourself a Christian, but you don't believe in our doctrine, that you don't trust the Bible, but you cite it, etc. You need Orthodoxy.
@ManOnFia, Don't bother with him, I've already showed him 3-4 times that the Early Church taught that Jesus was God a couple of weeks back but he just ignored my citations of ECF and rebutted nothing.
@LogosTheos Yeah, we've had an extensive conversation over email too. He's not going to change his mind. I've done all I can at this point as far as citing the Bible, catechisms, etc. It's up to him to study them for himself now. Thank you for coming to my defense. By the way, would you send me your citations? I would love to read them.
@LogosTheos ..Danielezerable is a Muslim posing as a Christian. He doesn't believe in Christ, hates the Catholic Church and believes the Islamic doctrine.
@ManOnFia .."Danielezerable"... is a Muslim posing as a Christian. His channel is a fake. He supports Islam. I've already been there. Don't waste your time.
@TheCinderella29 I've visited his channel too and I've had an extensive conversation with him. He's not a Muslim, but he's practicing modern Arianism.
@Danielezerable Have you read the writings of St. Basil the Great, St. John Chrysostom, St. John of Damascus, or St. Cyril? St. Basil, for example, gives almost the same explanation as Sam Shouman regarding John 14:28. He cites Phil. 2:6-7, demonstrating that the Word does not exist without the Father (since He is the Word of the Father) and that while He was God, He took the form of a bond servant in order to renew the image and likeness of God in man. Read the book I recommended.
@Mancunian786 The term "Trinity" was coined by St. Paul regarding the reality of God: One God that does all things through His Eternal Word and sanctifies creation through His Spirit, which proceeds from Him. This reality is present all over Scripture (i.e. Genesis 1:1-3 and 1:26, Psalm 32[33]:6, Isiah 6:3, Luke 9:27-36, etc.). If you deny this reality, you have spoken blasphemy, as you have mutilated the essence of God. For a God without Word or Spirit is nothing more than sticks and stones.
Sam shamoun why are you lying to your own people its very clear in the gospel of john jesus said my father (god) is greater then i and jesus was right God is greater then all stop lying we all know God is better and greater then jesus
The following statement from the Bible supports the Islamic belief that Jesus (pbuh) was a prophet of God.
"Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know."
in that case, according to the bible god has many sons;-
It is used of Israel as a nation through the Exodus. Hosea 11:1 says, "When Israel was a youth I loved him, and out of Egypt I called My son."1 It is also used in reference to angels. Job 1:6 says, "Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them"
There is a mistake in the trinity. The truth is The Son of God is a man not God but the Spirit (The Word of God) that is in him is God. By that Spirit, sons of God will have the authority in the name of "Jesus" do great exploit. We are here to do YHWH's will not our wills for HIM.
@TheGreenPastures The Son of God is the Word of God the Father, or as Greek philosophy describes it, the Logos. The Word became Incarnate by the Grace of the Holy Spirit which proceeds from the Father. It is important to study the Nicene Creed, as it is derived entirely from Scripture.
Then how about the son? He is a man but with the Spirit, The Word in him he becomes Son or sons of God. Psalm 2:7, Roman 8:14. The Son of God or sons of God are still men not God. God is not a man but spirit. And man or The Son of God cannot be spirit or God but Human. But he has The Word in him that lead him is a man who is born again with The Word in him that can give orders to even angels and move mountain. If you are truly born again with water and the spirit you will experience what I say.
Jesus is The Word of God. He, The Spirit become a man coming to earth and He was a man not God. His God, The Father sent The Word to be a man on earth called Jesus. It is the Spirit that is in the earthly Jesus is Gods' Word who has the authority. God is God, I am that I am and The Word of God is also God. We called One Gods - Elohim. Not one God but ONE GODS. YHWH and His Spirit - The WORD of YHWH. If anyone is serious in knowing YHWH and His Word (Jesus), seek and you will find. It is clear
@Mancunian786 why can't you accept the fact that Jesus is God when there is overwhelming evidence Biblically and historically? did you just not watch the video? you are fighting a lost cause here, Jesus is clearly God, and made it very obvious, by forgiving sins(which God can only do), controlling the weather (which God can only do), declaring Himself to be THE Truth THE Way THE Life, the Jews wanted to stone Jesus because He was claiming Himself to be God. you muslims miss the important verses.
@Mancunian786 Son of God , and God same thing, the Jews of Jesus day saw it as the same thing thats why they wanted to kill Him, John 19:7 The Jewish leaders insisted, "We have a law, and according to that law he must die, because he claimed to be the Son of God."
IF.... the Jews of Jesus day saw that Jesus claimed to be God, then you should too, its very obvious you muslims block out the truth. you cant deny it. All the verses on my channel prove Jesus claimed to be God.
28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all[a]; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. 30 I and the Father are one.”
"I and the Father are one" is the claim to be God, and "I give them eternal life"
@Mancunian786 the Jews would know if someone is claiming to be God, they didn't say it for no reason.so obviously Jesus said something wrong in their eyes, but its not wrong if its the truth which it is, the Jews heard correctly Jesus did claim to be God, explain to me who claimed to be God and why did the Jews wanted to stone this Man,answer my question please. and don't change the topic. there are other verses if you chose to not to answer (which you will for sure) that Jesus claims to be God.
@danwazhere7 the jews were against him, because they were waiting for their messiah, to deliver them out of bondage, also becuase acording to them (the jews), jesus did not meet the requirements;-
Be an observant Jewish man descended from the house of King David
Bring peace to the world
Gather all Jews back into Israel
Rebuild the ancient Temple in Jerusalem
Unite humanity in the worship of the Jewish God and Torah observance
@Mancunian786 then why did the Jews want to stone Jesus? its obvious why, but yet you don't want to admit it, and yet you don't want to answer the question which i predicted that you won't , the Jews wanted to stone Jesus because He claimed to be God, it says it right there in the verse, i will give you other verses since you willingly ignore the obvious in the one i have gave you.
@Mancunian786 Can you point to a place in Scripture where Jesus says, "I am not God"? The issue here is failure to see that there are three Persons who are identified as God, and exist together in UNITY -- One God.
(iii) "I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgement is just; because I seek not my own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me."
Abba is greater then the Son! The Father is Love; The Son is The Truth... Apply the spiritual understanding of the Son’s state and ability to discern, learn and judge (perceive) evil and the Father's higher and holier state and ability to only think good; In this we see how the Father is greater then the Son; not only in position but also state. The Father whom is Love thinks no evil; yet the Son perceives both good and evil, in this Abba is greater. God is Spirit, Soul and Holy Spirit. Peace
The Bible can't get anything about Jesus straight. John 19:14-16 claims Jesus died just before Passover. Mark 14:12 claims that Jesus died the day after Passover.
Maybe Jesus got crucified, got better and had to be re-crucified two days later before the Romans could kill him?
@onlylettersand0to9 Those don't contradict. Unlevened Bread & Passover are connected & used interchangable, for Passover begins the at twilight on the 14th, Unlevened Bread on the 15th. Luke 22:1 "The Festival of Unleavened Bread, which is also called Passover.." See Exodus 12:1-30; 23:15; Levi 23:4-8 May you find the light.
It's AMAZING to know that Jesus is God and God Put his glory aside to be a servant to us (his creation) whom he loves so much that he did an ultimate sacrifice for our sins so that we be saved. That's amazing. Jesus you are the biggest hero in the universe !! And you are GOD !!!!! I love you so much. All glory be to you !!!!
@carrrrera Indeed, he loves us so much that he flooded the Earth, killing everything except a pair (or rather, 7 pairs) of each of the millions of innocent species. He also loved the Jews a lot, but apparently he didn't love the Egyptians and the other people which he slaughtered without hesitation. Although he is all-powerful he could not find a better way to give the Jews their promised land without the slaughter of thousands of thousands. He is all-knowing, but he just couldn't see it coming.
Interesting... The Reason Yehowshuwa (Christ) said "The Father is greater then I." is because it is truth. How He is greater is the question... Just like the heart is greater then the foot, they are still one and equal because they are part of the whole, one body. Abba and Logos are one in essence (Spirit) One True Living God, yet the Father is Greater because of what He is.... Nice subject...
The Father is greater than the son...not equal. I'm sorry but there is no way to reconcile that. GOD is alone...Ye Oh Israel, your Lord is ONE Lord. Adam, Moses, David, Solomon, Daniel, Isaiah, etc. never prayed to Jesus. They pray only to the ONE TRUE GOD...Yahweh/Elohim/Allah Peace be upon all prophets who brought true monotheism...peace ya'll
I'm not a Muslim, but this fails a test of logic. We can play with the word "greater", but what else did Jesus say, both while he was on earth, as well as AFTER his resurrection about the same topic
Jesus is not God the Father. He is the son of God.
Jesus claims to have inferior knowledge of his Father (Matthew 24:36) Jesus after his resurrection states that this knowledge was still not his (Acts 1:6,7) even though his had been granted authority by the Father (Matthew 28:18)
@AirelonTrading And then later, while in Heaven, he is seen approaching the throne of God to receive knowledge ( Revelation 1:1; Revelation 5:1-5 ) and prophesied turning his authority BACK to God and bowing down to God, in heaven and becoming subservient to God the Father ( 1 Corinthians 15:24-28 )
So Jesus lives with his Father. Ok. That doesnt mean they are the same person. He states that his disciples also live with his Father as he does. With the Angels as well. The angles are not God
@AirelonTrading The Bible states that my wife and I are "one flesh" (Genesis 2:24). It doesn't mean that we are one individual with the exact same knowledge or the exact same authority (Ephesians 5:21-24 ) or that I could use post hoc ergo propter hoc to try to illustrate with the wordage that we are one person. Context taken in whole states something quite different.
@AirelonTrading Whoah, a Christian using logic? Isn't that some kind of blasphemy? So tell me, if you're such a rational person and use logic. How can God be all-knowing (omniscient)? Omniscience fails a test of logic.
If God is both omniscient and omnipotent, how come he cannot help us humans? Why does he let us battle out "evil" on our own (but sometimes he intervenes and cures random people)? How can God be a "good" god if he kills and slaughters animals and people alike, showing no regret?
Tell me, how can "God" be omniscient if he didn't know he was going to change his mind about killing and murdering thousands and thousands of people and animals? If he did know, why didn't he change his mind at the start? Why did he have to give us thousands of years of mindless slaughter if he knew there was a way to end it? How can "God" be that cruel? Is that the deed of a just god? To know, but to ignore?
That is if we put aside the clear violation of logic of being omniscient.
@DukeTwicep MANS WAY IS NOT THAT OF GOD. Terrorist don't question ALLAH when SACRIFICING themselves. Where in the Holy Scriptures is "THOUSANDS of YEARS of ANIMAL SACRIFICES" is define as MINDLESS, CRUEL ACTS or have you ADD and DISTORTED JESUS CHRIST'S HOLY SCRIPTURES. THE "HOLY SCRIPTURES" are CLEAR as to the REASON for the SACRIFICES. ITS HUMANS TRANSGRESS of the LAW/SIN. BEFORE YOU GIVE YOUR OPINION of the HUMAN-CONDITION or ANYONE PERSONS >HOLY< SCRIPTURE know them more in depth PLEASE
@cespedeslv Oh please, spare me your attitude and your inclination for Caps Lock. Your answer doesn't make any sense, it's like it's all jumbled up, were you drunk perhaps?
Many Christians claim this, "Oh you don't know the Bible". Perhaps I don't know the whole Bible, but one doesn't have to be an expert to see it's a fraud and bs, and I don't think you know the whole Bible either, not with your childish and irrational composition of sentences.
@DukeTwicep THE HUMAN CONDITION IS SIN. THE HOLY SCRIPTURES/WORDS speaks of the God-head; Holy Father, Holy Son/Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit, which makes them not just owners of the holy scriptures..they are the holy scriptures.
@cespedeslv Actually if you look up the concept of the human condition you will find that it is not about "sin", which is a made up property by sand people, but it's rather about what it is to be a human, regardless of gender, race, class, etc. . It's about search for purpose, curiosity (science), fear of death, etc. .
Tell me, why wasn't Judaism or Christianity, or any other religion related to your god, the first religion? How come your god was so late in the game?
@cespedeslv That is false. There is no such thing as "holy" or "sin", they are concepts made up by men who wanted to deceive other people for their benefit. The Bible is a book like any other book, it's a work of fiction. There is probably no god, and if there is, he either doesn't care about the Universe or he is an evil god playing around with us. How else to account for all the suffering in the world?
@DukeTwicep There is probably no god..huh? Well, when you have hard-data for the immaterial GOD-HEAD not existing let the world know on CNN or FOX-NEWS. As for me and MY HOUSE we accept JESUS CHRIST as our sacrificial-lamb for my and our SINS. When you can use the scientific-method to proof that the "Holy Scriptures" is as other books, well then, let the world know on CNN or FOX-NEWS.
@cespedeslv Actually the burden of proof is on the believer, and you are the one who believes in superstitions. You want proof that the god of the bible cannot exist? I can give you scientific research on the matter if you want it. Search for "gspaulscienceofreligion" on google and then read the articles, I admit, this is just some of the research and it's quite a new subject. But most importantly, the Bible says that God is benevolent and just, we refute this by the fact that he kills a Lot.
@cespedeslv Like you even watch the news channels, I doubt it. And even if you do you must be aware that those channels are some of the most biased. It would be better if you looked it up for yourself on wikipedia or google. But even If CNN and Fox said on a daily basis that the Bible isn't true and they provided facts, would you believe it? Of course not. You're a religious person, you can't change your mind, no matter what somebody says, am I not correct? Would you even consider it?
@cespedeslv Any person's holy scripture? I thought the scriptures were free and not owned by any one person. You also claim that the scriptures are owned by Jesus Christ, don't know if this is true, but I can assure you that I have not added anything to the Bible, nor have I distorted anything.
You talk about reason, how dare you use reason? Is it not forbidden by the Lord Almighty to use reason? Is it not blasphemy?
"Human-condition"? I never said anything about that. Please restate question.
@DukeTwicep You have a strong-faith that I wouldn't accept hard-scientific-data of a Timeless, Immaterial God-head, good for you. I've notice in the media that at many levels humans have redefine Good, Wrong, Marriage, Religion, and Spirituality. I'm Sola Scripture, my moral-stander is the Holy Bible, and when I fall I get back-up with Jesus Christ as my straight. I don't follow men..especially anyone person from Vatican City. Advise, regarding Vatican City sprint away fast.
Excellent exposition on this verse which cultists and muslims often use to argue against the deity of Christ. Thank you much for you tireless work of defending the gospel and refuting Islam.
Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
Jesus took the form of man. As a man, He was able to suffer temptation, He was subject to the will of the Father, and eventually was able to die on the cross. This does not mean He didn't have a divine nature also (John 17:5). Jesus never said "Don't worship me" either. That's a weak argument
@855842 MUHAMMAD NEVER SAID I AM THAT WHICH JESUS SAID WOULD COME...........answer to the verses you quote: When Jesus emptied his glory and became man, he did not possess that glory in its fulness no more which is why as a man jesus did not know the "hour". The entirity of goodness can only be expressed in the infinetly just and infinetly merciful being of God, yet since Jesus emptied his glory he had with the Father before world began; soas to be a man;then he could not claim the entirity
Jesus never said "Don't worship me" either. That's a weak argument.
Yet we see that Jesus was worshiped. (Matt 28:9, Mark 5:6)
Matt 28:9 And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and WORSHIPED him.
I am waiting for an explanation by christians why the name of the 4 Gospelwriters are fabricated??? Early christians didn't know who wrote those stories and just put some names on them! Matthew, Luke, Mark and John are not the true names of the Gospelwriters! Bible scholars admit this! :-)
This guy doesn't even know what he's talking about and keeps on making excuses. Jesus clearly says from that verse that there is someone 'GREATER' than him. The people who don't get this are either plain ignorant or dumb.

Since islam does not have a personal relationship with the allah, but a slave mentality then this is foreign to you.

Just think about the simple fact all the new testament writers left us hanging and did not tell the most important Q. whether Jesus was God.,But they did tell us clear He was the Christ not God.
dandom01 1 month ago
@dandom01 When you deny Jesus divinity you deny the Father and you are in the same boat with the muslims. If Jesus is a man then he can not be the Christ as the responsibility man's salvation is simply too great for just a man to shoulder. Jesus is with God and Holy spirit, in trinity and in unison during creation, when they go down to confuse the language of Nimrod, when they visit Abraham and Sodom destruction, etc. There are many verses in the Bible which clearly show God is one in trinity.

[The Bible, Acts 2:22]
Mancunian786 4 months ago
@Mancunian786 The problem with this is that the Koran is terribly inconsistent and contradictory to the biblical accounts of Christ's life. Most of the accounts in the Koran regarding Jesus can actually be traced back to pre-Islamic sources, which mostly consist of apocrypha written between the 2nd-3rd centuries by heretical groups such as the Gnostics (i.e. Infancy Gospel of St. Thomas). So you cited Acts 2:22. What about Isaiah 7:14, John 14:6, Col. 2:9, etc.?
ManOnFia 4 months ago
@ManOnFia how is the koran full of contrdictions?
it is the bible thats contains many errors and contradictions and the bible has been changed by human hands. the bible has may versions, which is the right one?

we muslims believe in jesus as a messenger of GOD. but hes is not GOD!
nowhere in the bible does jesus christ say 'iam GOD, worship me'
Mancunian786 4 months ago
@Mancunian786 I've already given you one source. Other errors include mixing up accounts between Moses and Jacob, that Moses and Noah lived at the same time, that Mary gave birth under a palm tree, that Zacharias was silenced for only 3 days (should be 9 months), that Jews worship Ezrah as the Son of God (which they don't), etc. Your biblical corruption allegations are nothing more than Ibn Khazem's faulty speculations in A.D. 1064, who saw the contradictions b/w the Bible and the Koran.

The Holy Bible is itself a miracle that makes any thinking man crumble with humility.
tonysshadow 6 months ago
@tonysshadow Think of the Trinity as a fire. A fire consists of a flame, light, and heat. The Father is the flame, the Son is the light that is co-equal with the flame and reveals it through its energy, and the Holy Spirit is the heat that proceeds from the flame. All three components exist at once, not separately.
ManOnFia 5 months ago
@ManOnFia The Son dies. If the light dies, then we have a huge problem. That is, the light cannot die unless the whole fire dies. Thus, bad example.
Danielezerable 4 months ago
@Danielezerable Not at all. If the Word becomes Incarnate, thus the Son, he takes upon our fallen nature to renew it (Isiah 53). Therefore, He must step into the lowest depths of our fallen nature: death itself. He died in his humanity, but raises us by His divinity. Death holds mankind captive, but not God. When Christ fell into the depths of Hell, God became present where He isn't present, thus destroying the bonds of death and creating salvation through Grace. Want to read a good book?
ManOnFia 4 months ago
@ManOnFia Okay, first off, I just want to say that I have read the early church's works on this verse and they interpreted it to mean Yahushua is the subordinate servant-Son of God. It's almost like saying that the one ordering the task was at one point not higher in rank. Ridiculous, right? Right? Second off, YOU used a fire analogy. By all scientific laws my friend, the light of the fire cannot die unless the fire dies. Yahushua and His Father are NOT co-equal.
Danielezerable 4 months ago
@Danielezerable Whose writings? That doesn't sound right, especially since Christ claimed to be co-equal to the Father on several occasions (i.e. John 10:30). You've taken my analogy too literally. Read Genesis 1:1-3. This reveals that the One God has Word and Spirit, as well as many other passages in the Old Testament. I invite you to read The Life: The Orthodox Doctrine of Salvation by Clark Carlton, a truly wonderful and inspiring study. It puts everything into perspective.
ManOnFia 4 months ago
Danielezerable 4 months ago
@Danielezerable Regarding John 17:22, Jesus usually spoke in terms of His humanity. Notice though how He says "...that they be one as We are One." Not only is Christ once again proclaiming that He is equal to the Father, He is talking about His Church. He already told his disciples about the gift of the Holy Spirit in chapter 16, and He is further confirming the reality of the salvation in union with Him through the Church. 1 Cor. 11:3 is talking about the conduct of women. Relevance?
ManOnFia 4 months ago
@ManOnFia Sorry bro but Clarke's commentary as well as the NLT have Yahushua Messiah-King referring from both human and divine nature. We almost got a copycat Yahushua around when the Son of God is speaking saying things like "that was just my flesh speaking" or something like that. I will politely disagree with you and hopefully you can see the truth that is the Son is the subordinate servant-Son of God. Phil. 2:9 I do believe states Yahushua is GIVEN the name not already had the name.
Danielezerable 4 months ago
@Danielezerable From what I gather, you accept that Christ is merely a prophet, or some sort of super-being given the mission to do God's work on Earth. Do you consider yourself a Christian? Be open minded at least and read the catechism I recommended. There's no harm in it. You will discover from it that if Christ isn't God, then there is no salvation. Christ came into the world to renew man's fallen nature bring mankind into union with God through Himself (i.e. Sacraments). Big topic.
ManOnFia 4 months ago
@ManOnFia Would a Muslim say Jesus is God's Son? Also, you said He sometimes refers to self in human nature. Are you saying that since half of what He said, it was from His human nature that some of His words should actually be done away with? Are you a Catholic out of curiosity? You should know that I believe the Pope to be the Devil's best man. If I were you, I'd listen to Jesus and repent of your idolatry.
Danielezerable 4 months ago
@Danielezerable How dare you accuse me of idolatry. And no, I'm an Orthodox Christian. I was baptized into the One True Church (est. A.D. 33). I rebuke you by calling you to repent of your heresy: claiming that Christ, the Incarnate Word, is not of one essence with the Father. If Christ isn't God, then there is no salvation for us. For He took upon our fallen nature and renews it by the shedding of His blood (New Covenant), grace through the the Church, etc. Read the book!
ManOnFia 4 months ago
@Danielezerable You said that you don't want to read the writings of the saints concerning who Christ is because you say that they wrote too late in the game for their theology to be legitimate. But the derive their argument from Scripture. Therefore, they effectively argue that Christ is divine from what the Bible says! You therefore have to be open-minded and evaluate their argument.
ManOnFia 4 months ago
@ManOnFia Um...no I do not because the early church is actually going to be far better in knowledge than anything. Explain how a Father can be the same age as His Son. Also, explain Proverbs 8:22 where it clearly shows there was a time when Son was not. I don't take authority from books. Only Christ and Jesus says His Father is greater than He. Further, I never once said Christ was not divine.
Danielezerable 4 months ago
@Danielezerable Orthodoxy is the early Church! It is the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church established by Christ through His Apostles in A.D. 33. So you must read our sources if you trust in the early Church. I sent a link to your inbox about Proverbs 8:22. Your argument is all over the place. You say Christ isn't God, but He's divine, that you call yourself a Christian, but you don't believe in our doctrine, that you don't trust the Bible, but you cite it, etc. You need Orthodoxy.

He cites Phil. 2:6-7, demonstrating that the Word does not exist without the Father (since He is the Word of the Father) and that while He was God, He took the form of a bond servant in order to renew the image and likeness of God in man. Read the book I recommended.

@ManOnFia BUT THE WORLD TRINITY IS NOWHERE IN THE BIBLE.
Mancunian786 4 months ago
@Mancunian786 The term "Trinity" was coined by St. Paul regarding the reality of God: One God that does all things through His Eternal Word and sanctifies creation through His Spirit, which proceeds from Him. This reality is present all over Scripture (i.e. Genesis 1:1-3 and 1:26, Psalm 32[33]:6, Isiah 6:3, Luke 9:27-36, etc.). If you deny this reality, you have spoken blasphemy, as you have mutilated the essence of God. For a God without Word or Spirit is nothing more than sticks and stones.

[The Bible, Acts 2:22]
Mancunian786 6 months ago
in that case, according to the bible god has many sons;-
It is used of Israel as a nation through the Exodus. Hosea 11:1 says, "When Israel was a youth I loved him, and out of Egypt I called My son."1 It is also used in reference to angels. Job 1:6 says, "Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them"
Mancunian786 6 months ago
There is a mistake in the trinity. The truth is The Son of God is a man not God but the Spirit (The Word of God) that is in him is God. By that Spirit, sons of God will have the authority in the name of "Jesus" do great exploit. We are here to do YHWH's will not our wills for HIM.
TheGreenPastures 6 months ago
@TheGreenPastures The Son of God is the Word of God the Father, or as Greek philosophy describes it, the Logos. The Word became Incarnate by the Grace of the Holy Spirit which proceeds from the Father. It is important to study the Nicene Creed, as it is derived entirely from Scripture.
ManOnFia 6 months ago
Then how about the son? He is a man but with the Spirit, The Word in him he becomes Son or sons of God. Psalm 2:7, Roman 8:14. The Son of God or sons of God are still men not God. God is not a man but spirit. And man or The Son of God cannot be spirit or God but Human. But he has The Word in him that lead him is a man who is born again with The Word in him that can give orders to even angels and move mountain. If you are truly born again with water and the spirit you will experience what I say.
TheGreenPastures 6 months ago
Jesus is The Word of God. He, The Spirit become a man coming to earth and He was a man not God. His God, The Father sent The Word to be a man on earth called Jesus. It is the Spirit that is in the earthly Jesus is Gods' Word who has the authority. God is God, I am that I am and The Word of God is also God. We called One Gods - Elohim. Not one God but ONE GODS. YHWH and His Spirit - The WORD of YHWH. If anyone is serious in knowing YHWH and His Word (Jesus), seek and you will find. It is clear

PirateXzibit 6 months ago
@Mancunian786 why can't you accept the fact that Jesus is God when there is overwhelming evidence Biblically and historically? did you just not watch the video? you are fighting a lost cause here, Jesus is clearly God, and made it very obvious, by forgiving sins(which God can only do), controlling the weather (which God can only do), declaring Himself to be THE Truth THE Way THE Life, the Jews wanted to stone Jesus because He was claiming Himself to be God. you muslims miss the important verses.
danwazhere7 5 months ago
@danwazhere7 see what i wrote. nowhere in the bible does jesus christ himself say this iam GOD.
plus why does it say that jesus is the son of god? (john 3;16)
that is sufficient proof that the bible has been changed and altered by human hands.
the concept of god in islam is found in the quran Chaper 112, verses 1-4
Say: He is Allah, the One and Only!
Allah, the Eternal, Absolute;
He begetteth not nor is He begotten.
And there is none like unto Him.
Mancunian786 5 months ago
@Mancunian786 Son of God , and God same thing, the Jews of Jesus day saw it as the same thing thats why they wanted to kill Him, John 19:7 The Jewish leaders insisted, "We have a law, and according to that law he must die, because he claimed to be the Son of God."
IF.... the Jews of Jesus day saw that Jesus claimed to be God, then you should too, its very obvious you muslims block out the truth. you cant deny it. All the verses on my channel prove Jesus claimed to be God.
danwazhere7 5 months ago
@danwazhere7 . how can son of god and god be the same?
jesus never said he was god, anywhere in the bible.
but he said, he was sent from god. there are many plces where jesus himself says that god is great, and that only god is to be worshiped,
jesus never said worship me.
Mancunian786 4 months ago
@Mancunian786 John 10:32-33
but Jesus said to them, "I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?"
33 "We are not stoning you for any good work," they replied, "but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.
who are the Jews wanting to stone ? and for what reason are the Jews wanting to stone this Man for?
danwazhere7 4 months ago
@danwazhere7 AGAIN, There is a contradiction there.
how can he himself be god,and then talk about 'good works from the father' indicating TWO different beings.
Agian i will say it. Nowhere in the complete bible does jesus christ himself say, he is GOD, or where he says worship me.
Mancunian786 4 months ago
@Mancunian786 now hold on, don't jump to conclusions no wonder you believe Jesus is not God because you don't read the verses BEFORE the actual verse.
John 10:28
28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all[a]; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. 30 I and the Father are one.”
"I and the Father are one" is the claim to be God, and "I give them eternal life"
danwazhere7 4 months ago
@Mancunian786 the Jews would know if someone is claiming to be God, they didn't say it for no reason.so obviously Jesus said something wrong in their eyes, but its not wrong if its the truth which it is, the Jews heard correctly Jesus did claim to be God, explain to me who claimed to be God and why did the Jews wanted to stone this Man,answer my question please. and don't change the topic. there are other verses if you chose to not to answer (which you will for sure) that Jesus claims to be God.
danwazhere7 4 months ago
@danwazhere7 the jews were against him, because they were waiting for their messiah, to deliver them out of bondage, also becuase acording to them (the jews), jesus did not meet the requirements;-
Be an observant Jewish man descended from the house of King David
Bring peace to the world
Gather all Jews back into Israel
Rebuild the ancient Temple in Jerusalem
Unite humanity in the worship of the Jewish God and Torah observance
thats why the jews rejected jesus.
Mancunian786 4 months ago
@Mancunian786 then why did the Jews want to stone Jesus? its obvious why, but yet you don't want to admit it, and yet you don't want to answer the question which i predicted that you won't , the Jews wanted to stone Jesus because He claimed to be God, it says it right there in the verse, i will give you other verses since you willingly ignore the obvious in the one i have gave you.
danwazhere7 4 months ago
@Mancunian786 Can you point to a place in Scripture where Jesus says, "I am not God"? The issue here is failure to see that there are three Persons who are identified as God, and exist together in UNITY -- One God.

Maybe Jesus got crucified, got better and had to be re-crucified two days later before the Romans could kill him?
onlylettersand0to9 6 months ago

All glory be to you !!!!
carrrrera 6 months ago

AchreousD 6 months ago
The Father is greater than the son...not equal. I'm sorry but there is no way to reconcile that. GOD is alone...Ye Oh Israel, your Lord is ONE Lord. "The Father Is Greater Than I" outstanding reasoning brother. GO FORWARD BOLDLY in JESUS-CHRIST'S NAME!!!.
cespedeslv 6 months ago
I'm not a Muslim, but this fails a test of logic. We can play with the word "greater", but what else did Jesus say, both while he was on earth, as well as AFTER his resurrection about the same topic
Jesus is not God the Father. He is the son of God.
Jesus claims to have inferior knowledge of his Father (Matthew 24:36) Jesus after his resurrection states that this knowledge was still not his (Acts 1:6,7) even though his had been granted authority by the Father (Matthew 28:18)
AirelonTrading 6 months ago
@AirelonTrading And then later, while in Heaven, he is seen approaching the throne of God to receive knowledge ( Revelation 1:1; Revelation 5:1-5 ) and prophesied turning his authority BACK to God and bowing down to God, in heaven and becoming subservient to God the Father ( 1 Corinthians 15:24-28 )
So Jesus lives with his Father. Ok. That doesnt mean they are the same person. He states that his disciples also live with his Father as he does. With the Angels as well. The angles are not God
AirelonTrading 6 months ago
@AirelonTrading The Bible states that my wife and I are "one flesh" (Genesis 2:24). It doesn't mean that we are one individual with the exact same knowledge or the exact same authority (Ephesians 5:21-24 ) or that I could use post hoc ergo propter hoc to try to illustrate with the wordage that we are one person. Context taken in whole states something quite different.
AirelonTrading 6 months ago
@AirelonTrading Whoah, a Christian using logic? Isn't that some kind of blasphemy? So tell me, if you're such a rational person and use logic. How can God be all-knowing (omniscient)? Omniscience fails a test of logic.
If God is both omniscient and omnipotent, how come he cannot help us humans? Why does he let us battle out "evil" on our own (but sometimes he intervenes and cures random people)? How can God be a "good" god if he kills and slaughters animals and people alike, showing no regret?
DukeTwicep 6 months ago
Tell me, how can "God" be omniscient if he didn't know he was going to change his mind about killing and murdering thousands and thousands of people and animals? If he did know, why didn't he change his mind at the start? Why did he have to give us thousands of years of mindless slaughter if he knew there was a way to end it? How can "God" be that cruel? Is that the deed of a just god? To know, but to ignore?
That is if we put aside the clear violation of logic of being omniscient.
DukeTwicep 6 months ago
BEFORE YOU GIVE YOUR OPINION of the HUMAN-CONDITION or ANYONE PERSONS >HOLY< SCRIPTURE know them more in depth PLEASE
cespedeslv 6 months ago
@cespedeslv Oh please, spare me your attitude and your inclination for Caps Lock. Your answer doesn't make any sense, it's like it's all jumbled up, were you drunk perhaps?
Many Christians claim this, "Oh you don't know the Bible". Perhaps I don't know the whole Bible, but one doesn't have to be an expert to see it's a fraud and bs, and I don't think you know the whole Bible either, not with your childish and irrational composition of sentences.
DukeTwicep 6 months ago
@DukeTwicep THE HUMAN CONDITION IS SIN. THE HOLY SCRIPTURES/WORDS speaks of the God-head; Holy Father, Holy Son/Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit, which makes them not just owners of the holy scriptures..they are the holy scriptures.
cespedeslv 6 months ago
@cespedeslv Actually if you look up the concept of the human condition you will find that it is not about "sin", which is a made up property by sand people, but it's rather about what it is to be a human, regardless of gender, race, class, etc. . It's about search for purpose, curiosity (science), fear of death, etc. .
Tell me, why wasn't Judaism or Christianity, or any other religion related to your god, the first religion? How come your god was so late in the game?
DukeTwicep 6 months ago
@cespedeslv That is false. There is no such thing as "holy" or "sin", they are concepts made up by men who wanted to deceive other people for their benefit. The Bible is a book like any other book, it's a work of fiction. There is probably no god, and if there is, he either doesn't care about the Universe or he is an evil god playing around with us. How else to account for all the suffering in the world?
DukeTwicep 6 months ago
@DukeTwicep There is probably no god..huh? Well, when you have hard-data for the immaterial GOD-HEAD not existing let the world know on CNN or FOX-NEWS. As for me and MY HOUSE we accept JESUS CHRIST as our sacrificial-lamb for my and our SINS. When you can use the scientific-method to proof that the "Holy Scriptures" is as other books, well then, let the world know on CNN or FOX-NEWS.
cespedeslv 6 months ago
@cespedeslv Actually the burden of proof is on the believer, and you are the one who believes in superstitions. You want proof that the god of the bible cannot exist? I can give you scientific research on the matter if you want it. Search for "gspaulscienceofreligion" on google and then read the articles, I admit, this is just some of the research and it's quite a new subject. But most importantly, the Bible says that God is benevolent and just, we refute this by the fact that he kills a Lot.
DukeTwicep 6 months ago
@cespedeslv Like you even watch the news channels, I doubt it. And even if you do you must be aware that those channels are some of the most biased. It would be better if you looked it up for yourself on wikipedia or google. But even If CNN and Fox said on a daily basis that the Bible isn't true and they provided facts, would you believe it? Of course not. You're a religious person, you can't change your mind, no matter what somebody says, am I not correct? Would you even consider it?
DukeTwicep 6 months ago
@cespedeslv Any person's holy scripture? I thought the scriptures were free and not owned by any one person. You also claim that the scriptures are owned by Jesus Christ, don't know if this is true, but I can assure you that I have not added anything to the Bible, nor have I distorted anything.
You talk about reason, how dare you use reason? Is it not forbidden by the Lord Almighty to use reason? Is it not blasphemy?
"Human-condition"? I never said anything about that. Please restate question.
DukeTwicep 6 months ago
@DukeTwicep You have a strong-faith that I wouldn't accept hard-scientific-data of a Timeless, Immaterial God-head, good for you. John 1:18
No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
The Greek word translated as "Son" in this verse is "theos". "Theos" refers to diety. Hence, Jesus is true diety, one with the Father.
Try substantiating an argument instead of just ranting like an idiot.

Why do you call me good? No one is good, except God alone.
James 1:13: When tempted, no one should say, God is tempting me. For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt.
Jesus was tempted in every way, but God cannot be tempted. This is why Jesus said, “don’t call me good, none are good, only God.”
