Use a hair dryer to heat the chain if it is tight. All else fails, just cut the power link and get a new one $5.00. I had a bike come into the shop that was so dirty I couldn't even move the chain. Ended up cutting the link and installing a new chain and PL
Looks great, but mine never works like that. Even with a pair of pliars, I still can't get enough pressure to pop it loose. I always have to grab the chain remover tool if I want it off, which defeats the whole purpose of having the power link.I concede it's a great idea, but one which simply doesn't work for me.
Yoo i have a grinding chain on my bmx biike and im trying to change it but i cant find the link?? Iv looked for 15 min now and cant find?? Im guessing there no Link Plz Help?

They can be quite tough to remove if they have never been removed before, or are new.
