  • I'm sobbing, not only because of Cody, but because I lost my beloved aussie Jesse one year ago. I wish I had videos of him, but I can still see him in my heart. Thanks for posting this Sean. Aussies are like no other dog.

  • I had a dog named Jack he was a minitchure pinture he ran away and the next morning I think a man called my mom saying he was trying to catch my dog but he was to fast the man was chasing my dog on a highway then the man did not know there was a cliff...the man chased my dog off the cliff I'm crying rite now

  • Beautiful dog , you will be missed cody <3 Aus.

  • Hello from Japan. I'm another person who found this video while searching for a Spymob footage, and couldn't get my eyes off... It really shows how much love you and your family had for him, and I'm sure he had a happy life with you. Thank you for sharing the love; this video reminds me once again to treasure every moment I spend with my loved ones.

  • my dog was a 16 year old black lab named ben he suffered from arthritis last year, I did not put him down just let him sleep on his own,in the morning I went to see him he just raised his head and stared at me saying goodbye,he died while I was at work he rest in a flat covered in rocks, and shadow my terrier mix 15, was lonely and died of lonelyness. one morning months later I had a wonderful dream, they came back to me, full of energy, clean shiney coats, full of love. I woke up and weeped.

  • Cody had a great personality, you can see it in his eyes and his behavior. I lost my pit bull/mastiff BoBo to cancer Dec. 2007. Our last time at the vet went the way yours did with Cody. He was 14 years old and lived a long and happy life with me. We loved each other unconditionally.

BoBo and Cody are playing in the meadow by the Rainbow Bridge, waiting for us.

    R.I.P CODY

  • 9 years old? thats still way to young for a dog to ...pass.

  • This is an amazing tribute to a pet that was clearly a beloved family member. I have an aussie mix myself, also scared to walk on the wood floors. Your tribute touched me deeply.

  • i'm at work crying right now. that was a wonderful tribute, and it was hilarious the way he always crouched before entering the room! my dearly departed puppy was 13.5 years old when she died 2 years ago. and it's still hard. . . .

  • Thanks for sharing Cody, a fitting name, ( which could have been prefaced with the word "Cool " right? . I know he'll live in you hearts forever. I know how it feels to lose a beloved pet and my heart goes out to you. The void is immense, isn't it? Great job on the video. Glad it was a help to you in getting through your grief. God Bless

  • This is one of the best videos on YouTube.

I was searching for 'Spymob' because I recently found "It Gets Me Going" as MP3 on some webserver. I loved this song but Spymob was totally unknown to me and seems not be well known in Germany at all.

The search brought me to this video. Now I'm crying and smiling in my office at the same time, thinking of the people I lost because of death or because I treated them wrong, thinking of all the joyfull moments and the time of conflicts.

    [..]

  • Thanks for you kind words... nice to know Cody has now been seen in Germany!

  • [..]This video is more than a just brilliant tribute to your lovely dog Cody, I is about love and family, the transitoriness of life and inescapableness of deatch, bitterness and joy, the wish and hope for meeting again in eternity.

Thank you for sharing, I wish you all the best.

  • *tears in my eyes*

how sad.. but a beautiful and fun dog!! ^^

I first thought about saying RIP, but i doubt there will be much RESTING were he is... I'd rather say he is running aroung playing with all the other dogs!! ^^ <3

  • What a beautiful, happy and much-loved dog. A lovely tribute to Cody.

  • his eyes were very cute i wante dto cry i love cody

  • Very cool, dude. Thanks for the video!

  • Hey I don't know you or Cody & I thought it was VERY touching! Cody, RIP my man! :)

  • OOHHH! I miss Cody!! What a great tribute to a fun, beautiful energy filled spirit! The block hasn't been the same without Cody!

  • I'm glad you brought joy to his life and that he brought joy to yours.

  • This video has really touched me. I appreciate the joy that Cody brought to your life and the joy that he brought to yours. God bless you all, including you Cody.

  • God bless you and your dog. I know he's has an endless amount of bones to play with in Heaven. God bless.

  • he's got unique eyes.. thanks for sharing these pics and videos;)

  • Thank you for sharing Cody with us, love it!

  • Absolutely darling! Cody was a beautiful animal--his eyes are magical! I've lost a few animals of my own, and it never hurts any less but it's always nice to be able to look back on memories like these. Plus Spymob = amazing! Can't go wrong with 'em ~:)

  • Sooo sad, I just wanted to cry. It reminded me of my childhood pet Missy (Germann Sheppard/Collie mix) which I took into the vet to get put to sleep when I was 14yrs old. Missy was 13yrs old. I feel for you....

  • I knew this "Jackball" dog ,CODY!..I knew him well. When Sean first got him he was so wacked out. Very funny and cute, but lacked discipline. Good thing Sean came along, because I watched him transform from uncontrollable nutbag to very good boy, with a hint of Jack Nicholson in "As Good As It Gets". The Spymob tune "pure gift."

  • Treat me kindly, my beloved friend,

For no heart in all the world is more grateful for kindness than the loving heart of me.

And, my friend, when I am very old and no longer enjoying good health, hearing and sight,

Do not make heroic efforts to keep me going.

    I am not having fun.

Please see that my trusting life is taken gently.

I shall leave this earth knowing with the last breath I draw, that my fate was always safest in your hands.

  • I had thought that I was through shedding tears for Cody, until I read your message, which, I found was from a poem by Beth Norman Harris. The last line really got me, and took me back to Cody's last breath....

  • hey, i posted a video response with a video i put together of photos of our aussie, lily. it was very tough to do, but i found it to be theraputic as well. wish i would have had video footage of her, but the photos do a pretty good job of showing her from the puppy stage to to the awesome aussie that she was.

anyway, even though i had already had this video in the works, your video inspired me to go ahead and finish what i started. Thanks!

  • i have tears in my eyes. you created a wonderful tribute to your beautiful cody. cody was so lucky to have such a wonderful family. love to all of you!

  • wonderful, beautiful & sweet, so sweet tribute to your beautiful cody!!! only 9 years old. how/why did he pass? excellent video!!!!

  • This , by far , is one of the BEST videos posted on this or any other website. Like any work of art I was drawn in from first to last frame and came away in love with Cody and heartbroken at the same time....brilliant....thank you

  • Thanks to you and everyone else for watching and commenting on this video. Cody was such a funny dog. He was wild beyond wild in his early years.. (many of my friends thought he was a bit much) but eventually, with lots of encouragement, he grew into a dog that everyone liked. So often, we take lots of pictures, notes or videos of the things we love which get thrown in a drawer and forgotten about. I just couldn't let that happen with Cody.

  • Such a great video of a beautiful part of your family. I love my Australian Shepherd Ike with all my heart and dread the day he will pass away. :(

While watching your video I began to get teary eyed, but right before one tear could fall...the part of your movie where Cody is humping made me laugh instead of cry..lol

Amazing that we are considered dog owners, when in reality it is the dogs that own us. :)

  • such a gorgeous dog:)

  • so sorry to hear about your loss of a great dog. my dog lily was run over and killed a little over a week ago, and it just devastated my wife and i. her name was lily and she was an aussie as well. just the best dog. i hope to do the same, only i don't have very much video to work with, mostly photos. thanks for sharing your memories.

  • Thanks for the kind words... so sorry for the loss of your Aussie Lily.

  • What a great dog! I'm sorry for your loss - really enjoyed watching the video.

  • wonderful wonderful video....I'm sobbing for your loss. He seemed to be so entertaining.

  • What a wonderful tribute!!! I believe it truly captured who he was to your family. How sweet.

  • That is SOOOOO sweet, and so well done! A very very fitting tribute to an obviously hugely loved dog -- feel like I've met Cody now. That's true love-in-a-vid! Thx for sharing...
