I never figured out the hack pattern but, I know if I take 3 random guesses I may get in. If I fail, I back out & try again. Same with locks. Hi skill doesn`t help. All locks and computers are the same but you may need hi level to attempt. They are the same but look different. Hacking has it`s pro`s n con`s. like f`n up the persuit of the Xulong? rifle. If you don`t have the patience to hack, you will miss out on certain items, clues and such. Hope that helps.
