If you try it in full screen mode, it is really hard. Try it small screen first because your eyes don't have to cross so much. It's called stereoscopic vision, and it was kind of a huge deal in the mid 1990's.

there is several things that are happening to me, my left eye focuses on the pic than my right on my finger and vise versa, another looks likt im looking through my finger, and another is im holding a little piece of paper with a 3d tree. (different from the second thing i said)

@MrComano your eyes do not see the exact same picture either, one sees a view a little to the right and one sees a little to the left, this is how we see "3d" our brain merges the two images together so we can see both the left view and right view at the same time giving objects depth.

This is an optical illusion because there are no 3d objects in front of you, just two images. If you cross your eyes or bring them apart to make the two images appear as one, it gives the illusion of 3d.

I see how it worked, it looks like theres 3 trees... One is closer then the other... When you go bog eyed/or see two fingers, you are on the right track... Just keep that 'off focus' look and you should see 3 trees, one closer and the other two in the distance from that one :)
