  • i was there...

  • no one ever gets footage of dusty doing the sweeps =[

  • haha 1:45 riff has odd time signiture so the croud has trouble keeping the rhythm

  • Yeah they used to use Ibanez S Series Prestige Guitars, now they use PRS Custom 24's

  • wat guitar is the lead guitarst using??

  • @helgaperez Ibanez :D

  • @helgaperez theyre both using iabnez's but i saw them last month and they were using PRS guitars

  • @twisted7493 yeah me too but my parentsrent wont let me tho...(sigh)

  • @drummerboywunder then kill your parents. these guys are incredible live, so it will totally be worth it.

  • lol theres always this one guy stage diving like 9 times

  • ridiculiously clean, holy crap

  • ALL BODIES. CON-FUCKING-TORTION.

  • goddamn fucking slam brutal death metal!!

  • seeing them tomorrow! hope they play backwards marathon

  • I've seen their set list, they're not playing Backwards Marathon.

  • great band..seeing them was the best live experience of my life. this song at the worcester polladium was my frist mosh pit experience lol

  • these guys are insane live.

  • It's amazing how extremely popular these guys have been without any mainstream success. And boy, am I glad these guys haven't sold themselves out. Thank you, BTBAM.

  • It's proof that some people still value good music. Incredible band.

  • its proof that people still value music because of your username haha. but i agree

  • @SixShooterCinema yea lets keep it that way

  • @SixShooterCinema well.....they're sellouts now. metalblade records is backed by sony. where as victory records was independently owned

  • I get to see them January 9th again. I'm fucking excited as shit.

  • me and my friend are gonna skip school and drive up to austin just to see them haha

  • @blazefire94 Hey you must have been at the same concert that i was at, xcept i live in austin, so no school skippin for me

  • @dpjdmv2 oh no ididnt go to that show in austin :/ but they are coming to where i live so i have no need to skip school just drive up to see them after. haha how was the show

  • FUCK i had to miss them last month....but i wana see them so bad!

  • Ended with White Walls too, right? Epic show. Saw them in Tucson.

  • Did they just play All Bodies, Obfuscation and White Walls? Or did they play Selkies and the two Foam Borns along with those three? I've been seeing different setlists for this tour everywhere.

  • they played, all bodies. selkies, obfuscation. foam born A and B, and white walls. it's a shame 6 songs cover 45 minutes for their set ha. but they are the greatest band.

  • sweet. so pumped to see them tomorrow.

  • the show i went to, they played All Bodies, Selkies, Obfuscation, another unnamed song off TGM, Foam Born a+b, Sun of Nothing, and White Walls

  • Wow they played Sun of Nothing at your show? Fuuuuck I wish they played that in their Pamona show

  • Saw them on Oct. and they did All Bodies, Seklies, Foam Born a and b, obfuscation, then white walls.

  • Damn, that's a near perfect set, I say just add Mordecai.

  • so fucking gnarly

  • 2:13 - 2:36 is amazing.

Paul is a god, his writing is light years beyond any guitarist out there, seriously.

  • Best band ever

  • This is still my fave BTBAM song

  • keeper of the stars

    i hope to never find

    we are just mortal souls

    left to die

    btbam 4 life

  • I was there! I wasn't really a fan at the time, but they won me over and now I can't get enough.

  • Best progressive metal around, next to the mighty Mastodon.

  • I think they are better than Mastodon. In my opinion, they are more next to Meshuggah or SikTh.

  • Cause Technical Death is the same as Progressive Metalcore...

Necrophagist is good, but not the best Tech Death imo

  • outcast from france is a good progressive/tech death metal band

  • necrophagist owns like every metal band, but that dosent mean btbam isnt fucking sick

  • Its a little over an hour of a drive to birch run from my area but you better believe that i'll be there.

  • shit man, I can't wait to see Necrophagist at dirtfest '09. I live in a town right by birch run about 15 minutes away so no longass ride there xD.

  • my bands playing im so stoked(:

  • crowd needs to shut the fuck up. I can't hear Tommy

  • my favorite between the buried and me song......besides all my other favorites. sooo goood.

  • i have dusty's shirt. refused 4 LYFE

  • Man I love this song, it flows and changes style several times really beutiful. Theres enough stuff in this song to make like 7 different songs. Also its really epic when the crowd joins in: WE ARE JUST MORTAL SOULS, LEFT TO DIE.

  • Your 'seven different songs' argument is often the case with half their songs. Because they are so amazing.

  • Yeah I love that how their songs are different from start to beginning.

The first time I was listening to colors, I got so confused, they were changing tempos and completely different riffs, so I thought it was a new song, I looked at my iTunes list and it was like dead in the middle of a song and I was like wtf.....and then I seriously couldn't even tell they changed songs.

I was listening for like 30 minutes, then I was like, dam this is a long song, i looked and it was at Ants of the sky

  • Absolutely fantastic: so wonderfully germinal in the guitar, so bold and black! Great Video!

  • I need new pants.

  • Thumbs up this comment if you like ham.

  • Lol its sped up. They must've not had a clicker or something.

  • Best band in the world, period.

  • dude, i love me some botch, but if you're trying to make the argument that they're more technical/complex in terms of what they're playing...please. pick up an instrument. dave knudson has a very unique style, but btbam wins in shredditude man, sit down.

  • shutup. that's botch stupid. every band that is heavy doesn't have to throw their instruments around to be awesome. grow a brain before you open up ur beak, then type...stepid.

  • i'll agree that they don't move around much, but jesus...between the buried and me plays every song flawlessly live. they're fucking robots when it comes to precision, even if that also means they look like robots standing there onstage. but as much as i love botch, btbam owns them in every sense of the word, and bands don't need to do windmills and fucking cartwheels to play a good show. with your "the more they move, the better the show" logic, i bet you'd LOVE bands like fall out boy.

  • these were amazing live last week, but they blew an amp and missed out on bout 20 minutes off their set :(

    but theyyyy rocked :p

  • man, that crowd is awesome.

    man, that song is awesome.

    man, that album is awesome.

    man, that band is awesome.

i'm not going on because the rest is obvious.

  • ha. i agree but dusty and paul dont realy like that album cuse they say the guitar tones suck but i still like the album

  • but that dosent mean they dont like playing the songs?

  • Dusty has said that if he ever has to play Selkies again that he's going to jump on his dick with cleat's hahahaha.

It's in one of the metal injection interviews, with just Tommy, Dusty, and Blake in it.

  • i wanna see these guys live so bad

  • there trying to touch his cock

  • i think id try to ahahahahah

  • Im getting a fuckin tattoo of this song

  • haha, I was just watching Drop Dead Gorgeous suck it up at dirtfest, then I went to BTBAM. BTBAM is an all around waaay better band. It's pretty disappointing that Drop Dead Gorgeous came from my state..

  • Wow, that's one of the best crowds I've ever seen.

  • yep! and i was front row! this was possibly the best performance i've ever seen. even after the sun went down they still played; stage hands shined flashlights on tommy's guitar for his solos.

  • The crowd in this video is so fucking awesome!

  • amazingly talented band

  • wow that's so epic lol

  • FUCKING WIN @ chorus w/ crowd

  • there are no bouncers or staff there....awesome, so much crowd surfing

  • best band ever, i saw them with children of bodom and black dahlia murder. better then both of them, crowd was more intense, it was so fucking awesome

  • where did you see them? i saw them with that lineup in worcester, ma

  • same place, haha. oct 10th?

  • hahah yes. maybe i saw you there, maybe i didnt. thats sick either way though.

  • i was at this show, i live like 10 minutes from birch run where this was filmed. btbam is my all time favorite band besides blind melon. and to thing btbam covers change by blind melon i was so happy it was fucking amazing. paul waggoner for life!!!!

  • Such an awesome crowd atmosphere for an awesome band. "All Bodies" kills.

  • b-a (bAD asS)

  • I can't wait for October Fifth. They are coming to Erie PA, which is like forty five minutes away from my house. Twelve bucks. Can't beat that.

  • wohow,, they speeded up the first solo :)

  • The camera organization is perfect. Very tense.

  • screamins so perfect

  • rofl fuck DT..btbam runs their show over

alaska is such a sweet album to just throw into your car and drive too, shit is fuckin preemo

  • haha. hellz yeah. I do it all the time. It's perfect while driving at night.

  • purely amazing

  • i love how blake is in board shorts and flip flops....thats whats its all about who gives a flying cluk about image...its all about the music

  • what album is all bodies on?

  • ALASKA

  • We all create this imagery

    we all increase this lunacy

they play the first solo so fucking fast lol

they're easily the best band ever. end of story.

  • no dt is

  • Nope.

    BTBAM owns DT

  • dt?

  • dream theater!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • oh duh...yah dream theater is also amazing, but very different from btbam

  • No? :|

  • yeah they speeded it up haha

  • back you up on that one mate.

  • ALLL BODIES!! CONTORTION

    fuuuuuuuuuuckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk so good

  • this is so fucking intense! BTBAM at a festival= SICK

  • hahahaha i saw them at prog nation, the vocal guy does this hella weird twitchy thing with his leg when he does hella long screams. its hella funny/cool.. yeah. opeth kicked ass at prog nation..

    good song

  • Hella is a hella gay saying, so keep it to a hella minimum.

  • im from nor cal dude i can't help it.

  • :D

    ur funnay

    great vid

played this perfectly as they always do

  • I know what you mean dude.

I can contain it though lol

    +1

  • i like his hand gestures

it makes him captivating as a frontman

    and it's "hella" funny

dun worry i say it to

  • Tommy has restless leg syndrome, douchebag!

  • didn't say it in a negative way, he makes good use of it.

    chill.

  • Yeah I noticed that too about the leg thing. I squirm around a lot too, I just cant stand still. When my mom and I went to progressive nation (she is all about DT but likes Opeth and BTBAM now too believe it or not), a couple of songs into the show she leans over, and referring to Tommy goes "Wow, that dude is intense." LOL

  • yeah, opeth's the main reason i went, but BTBAM was alright, i hadnt heard them before then.

  • Yeah Opeth is my all time favorite band, I go see them every opportunity I get, regardless of the lineup, but BTBAM is a close second.

  • this song is so amazing

  • i meant btbam owns any other band

  • btbam over and band

  • they fucking own live

    i wish was there

  • BTBAM is a fucking machine bro ;)

  • wow paul waggoner is a fucking machine

  • They're amazing. I thought BTBAM, FTFD and The Acacia Strain were the best bands that played dirtfest last year. Can't wait to go this year =]

  • i just saw them in washington d.c...they must be one of the tightest acts out there...they hit you like a brick wall...needless to say.

  • im going to see them w/ dream theater opeth n 3 this SAT. Fuck yeah!!!!!!

  • the drummer is mad jacked

  • Good thing BTBAM isn't changing. I love their music. Took a picture of the cover of Alaska and put it as the wallpaper for my phone.

  • .......

  • haha i did that with Colors

  • Tommy Rogers is hands down...the best singer

  • look up "from here on"

one of tommys bands from 99'

  • greatest band ever, hand down

haha they're playing it too fast and it's hard enough to play at regular speed

    no one better than btbam

  • Needless to say that just got favorited.

  • fuck yea

  • w/o security people go nuts LOL. People at most concerts get fucked up if they try to get on stage

  • @ 3:22 thats me lol. I know im a fat shit, and I dont fucking care

  • lol @ the kid right after the break down who jumps into the crowd and just sinks

  • This was so nuts

This is the most Ive seen them move on stage They played like 6-7 songs and the set was almost an hr and a half

By that time I really just wanted it to end because it was a long fucking day

  • nice to see them playing to a crowd that is actually getting into it instead of just standing there

  • The music is slightly difficult to play man, I'd rather have it sounding better than the cd than worse.

  • if that is a reply to what i said you misread my comment. I was referring to the crowd, not the band. Usually the crowd is just standing there, they are actually moshing and getting into it which is nice to see

  • the best!

  • that was amazing.

  • Simply amazing; beautiful, really.

They are coming to Knoxville next month and I will never forgive myself if I miss it.

  • yeah they also played the primer when they were painting that picture on the wall

  • They just played all bodies in the background on the jackass mtv 24-hour thing, during the water jug skate thing.

  • really becasue i watched the whole thing i did not hear it but then again i was preatty fucking tired

  • man, the whole thing... im sorry hahaha. it was somewhat ammusing.

  • and the beginning of it all.

they also played the primer when they painted knoxville and jeff trmaine on the wall

  • i realized that too! i heard it, and i busted a nugget in my pants.

  • i realized that too! i heard it, and i busted a nugget in my pants.

  • they hardly get recognition in the uk, ive mentioned them to so many people and nothing, maybe my town just sucks

  • yea but bands from the uk don't get recognition here either. All I can say is thank god for the internet.

  • i guess so, lets praise the internet.

  • BTBAM kicks the shit out of august burns red

BTBAM is the greatest band ever

  • damn, they're flawless live

i heard this song on some compilation CD i got at a show that had autumn offspring and bury your dead on it, and I was like Holy fuck, i have to find out more about these guys!

glad I did, they're currently the most inspired band Ive ever listened to

  • fuckin gr8 song!!

  • good ass show

  • Paul is so good

  • I love the like "thank you" at the end.

  • i love BTBAM

there an all around good band

  • Understated! There an all around fucking genius band!

  • BTBAM FTW!

  • i think its funny how they're all so ordinary looking

  • What are you expecting...'hot celebrities' with floppy fringes? They're just people.

Who've been in some good bands over the years, not just this one.

  • oh no,

    i didn't mean any disrespect

    im just sayin

its cool how down to earth they look

unlike the swarm of scenecore bands that have been flooding the tubes recently

  • Oh yes i love this new bunch of metal bands that don't wear make up or dress all silly if your music is awesome you don't need to worry about image

  • yep and thats why all the bands who do care about image all sound the same and just do "breakdown" after "breakdown"

  • I think It's cool how August Burns Red and BTBAM can come out and play in Flip- Flops and cargo shorts,

    Thats what It's all about.

  • yea, and its cool how BTBAM is 50 times better than august burns red.

  • BTBAM is really good,

But August Burns Red is really good too,

    Their both good.

  • says the christian

  • OMFG their too amazing to be true.

  • i was in the front row

  • such an amazing show
