@DaRiceCooka You're probably not going to see much difference until the programs are 64bit. As far as I know for now, they're 32bit. Also, rendering times are "said" to be slower on Mac in general. I don't know how accurate that is, but that's what I've seen. Please, don't think that I pretend to be an expert. It's just what I've noticed and read.

@randomrazr Yes, definitely. Originally I bought the 2007 with glossy because of its 'enhanced' colors. But I ended up hating the reflections all around the screen. I'd definitely go for the antiglare
@randomrazr Lol, the antiglare I have now I wouldnt trade it in for a glossy. And I actually like the look of the antiglare, I think the metal frame surrounding gives it a classic look
@randomrazr Sounds good! For me, I like the high-res, because I use alot of graphic intensive applications...and the occasional boot camp game. The texts are smaller but sharper. And my eyes are pretty good so it hasn't been an issue at all for me. This could be different for other people though if you have a hard time reading small text. Definitely go compare both at the apple store and see if it's a problem for you
reason logic and final cut your my best friend now all you need if you already dont have it ableton live :D

not sure if you're a graphic-heavy user, but do you find rendering times on adobe premier/after effects/final cut pro very fast?
epictum 5 months ago
@epictum I use Final Cut Pro, and compared to my 2007 Macbook Pro it's a little bit faster, although not that much faster.
