you slap the fingers so they hit throught the string and into the next and that lets the tone ring until the next pluck... and because of the slaping you get that clanky noice from the strings hitting the frets:P Thats all:P ROCK ON!! Up the Irons!!!

It´s really easy to get that bass sound! I just got my steve signature 2 days ago and i love the sound:P all youive gotta do is buy a precicion bass and put bassline SPB-1 pickups on it if its not already on... then turn treble on 7 middle on 5 and bass on 8... the bass technique is simple you dont play like a usual bassplayer.

Good strings... stainless steel produce more bright and are more clanky than nickel strings
