I am studying in North South University. I was living in Eskaton Garden untill 2007. I had to go home from NSU through bus. I think the bus is 'Ajmeri Paribahan'. I can remember one day the bus was stucked in the midddle of the rail line because there were trafique jam. but luckyly train was not nearer. Some people jumped trhough the window of the bus from the back side ( around 6-8 people). Suddenly the trafique jam was cleared for a few minuites and the bus was able to cross the rail line.

Train speed should be regulated once it enters Dhaka. There are many rail crossings in the city. So Trains should not be allowed to run at more than 10mph in the city to avoid such accidents.

Blame Bus driver OK ( They will never change). What about the car next to it ? What brand of driver is he? Did the car owner ever rebuked him for not break the trafic law. Today we hear there will be flyovers on all major crossings. If car owners, rickshaw rider, bus passengers, for that matter all of us pledge , that we will protest, and protest loudly, when we see the driver of the vehicle is driving dangerously, speeding, overtaking, or making ten parallel rickshaw lines. This is so sad! This is the result of sheer irresponsibility on the road. The bus and car on the left lane probably skipped the gate (out of picture). Why did they do it? To advance 3 meters? Because of this, not only did they get crushed, the two totally innocent cars on the right lane got crushed as well.

Before we blame others, please let us accept our responsibilities. Drivers in our country are reckless. But why do we sit down and let our drivers break all rules and common sense?

the main culprit is the person who drops the barricade when a trains comes.. look at the video he was JUST dropping it when the train is almost there and the mean time as there was traffic on the road so those bus and cars got stuck there... that guy should be punished .. stupid bastard !
