This guy pisses me off and inspires me at the same time. I am a drummer of 30+ years and decided to try something different...the six string. Been practicing for a few years now and have gotten pretty good. Then I see guys like this and realize how far I have to go. The guy has a weird style playing the frets upside down, but hell, it works. Going to my strat and practice scales. What a bore but they will help in the long run. Keep jammin Hiroaki! Cheers.

I admit they don't sound as good live but neither do most other bands doesn't mean they suck. Ever thought about how much musicianship went into writing there albums? harmonizing all those riffs and making it all fit together that must have taken some serious knowledge of how music works.

This is actually really inspirational once you think about it. He's a blind person that learned to play guitar. There are people that can see that will give up if they can't play a certain song. Hiroaki Tagawa is a revolutionary guitarist that pushes the boundaries on modern electric guitar.

There's no such thing as a wrong way to play the guitar. He's blind, do you think he can see how we all play the guitar? Even so, he can pull cords a lot faster over the neck than under. I like it, it's fresh.

i wuz thinking bout various phisical markings on the back on my neck combined with some scalloping on the upper range on my fretboard...

I imagine after a lot of practice, it would be possible to play any song with your eyes closed. However, actually learning the song with your eyes closed is a lot more challenging.
